They do a very comprehensive assessment of your vehicle, and I can always feel the difference in my vehicle after my repairs are done. They're very transparent, and do a good job of taking care of their customers by doing jobs well and in a timely manner. I think their warranty on certain parts and services is also great. They really take time to make sure the issue is resolved even after they install the new part. Brennan has taken care of me the past 2-3 of times at craftsman. 5.0 Stars Outstanding experience and great customer service. Yelp brought me here. I did a search for the top auto repair shops in my area and Craftsman was well on the list. Reviews were solid. Once I realized how close I was to two of their locations, I made a mental note to check it out. I called, they were welcoming over the phone and not in a spazzy rush like some of the other shops I had been calling around to. They took their time over the phone!!! I made an appointment to get some estimates, showed up, told them my concerns, and they checked out a few things going on with my car. Again, very welcoming in person as well. I came to get an estimate for front and rear brakes replacements, possible oil change, state inspection. As I waited, I skimmed through two books the owner had written! They said I could have a copy, so kept one. The owner has the right idea and it shows. The waiting area was cozy and super chill equipped with coffee and snacks and TV. What took the service over the top was how well the gentleman took to physically show me what was going on with my car. He also took pictures. In the front office we examined the photos and he explained, and educated me about what was going on and what needed attention and why it was relevant. He made additional recommendations based on car mileage and manufacturer recommended maintenance. We discussed pricing and I agreed to get some of the work done. They gave me a Lyft ride home. Called me when it was done a few hours later. Scheduled a Lyft for me to return. Back at the auto shop, I paid and I was on my way. I felt really impressed because they explained things about my car I had never known about in the 5 years of owning it. I felt educated and walked away understanding things better. In all the 20 years I've maintained cars, no shop has ever explained things to me the way they did. I must admit, I felt the labor fees were a bit steep. I felt my wallet go ouch! However, I feel extremely safe in my vehicle because of everything I learned. I will definitely, without a doubt return for future maintenance work and I will knock out some of the other recommended maintenance items in the near future. Highly recommend. When I was going to call an uber to take me to work, they offered to drive me there. I have a Tesla and could not wait for the next available Tesla dealer appointment, so I saw on their website that they service Teslas and had appointment slots the next day. They spent a few hours trying to figure out the noise coming from my rear axel. When it turned out it was a minor, we were all relieved. I was expecting at least two hours of charged labor for their time, which was fair, but no charge. They want me back again as a customer. They likely have me as a lifer. read more

I found Craftsman based on how great the Yelp reviews are. I drove there (on a pumped leaky tire and with fingers crossed) without an appointment, and these guys took care of me and my car from the moment I walked in. They found the leak and fixed it while I waited, saved me from having to get new tires, and got me back on my way to pick my son up. I had a great experience at Craftsman Auto Care in Fairfax! The guys there are super nice and friendly, and explained all the repairs my car needed in detail (even provided pictures to help me visualize each issue). I had to bring my dog to drop the car off and not only was she allowed to stay with me in the waiting room, but the staff also provided her dog treats, water and belly rubs. It was really sweet :) Everything was fixed same day and even though they were busy when I came in, they still managed to squeeze me in. So glad I found these guys!! When I needed expensive tires, they matched prices for me. I'm prior military and they give me a discount which I appreciate. I was looking for a new auto repair shop for a 70k mileage oil-change after a change in ownership at the garage I used to go for service. Lots of pluses here. First, it's easy to schedule an online appointment. Second, the waiting area is very clean and provides WiFi service if you need to do a little work. Third, they provide a detailed inspection report which is helpful. I appreciate that Brent did not "push" any preventive services (which my former garage started doing). Service was professional and friendly. If you decide to stay in the waiting room, it takes about 2 hours for an oil change (with tire rotation) and a multi-point inspection report (they will take pictures and test drive your car for about 1 mile) Overall, I would come here again for an oil change and maintenance check. read more

I've gone to other Craftsman Auto Care locations and were pretty satisfied with their service. They aren't the cheapest. But what makes them stand out is the detailed report they do with pictures. Though if you just want a no nonsense oil change or quick service you will want to tell them that up front because they don't tell you that they will be doing the analysis and you could be waiting longer than you think. This particular location I felt I received some outstanding service for oil change and tire rotation. Disappointed. When they replaced my battery, my windows and blind spot sensors malfunctioned. I brought my car back in, and without any apologies from any of the employees, they fixed them. Then, a few days later, my tire pressure sensor broke EVEN THOUGH I fixed it with them earlier in the year. They claimed it's because they only fixed one out of the four...
