This little cafe uses a historic shopkeeper building with steps and no ramps. The doors open inward, and as soon as you enter there will be some confusion with the flow of traffic. Staff were kind and friendly, though a little harried. I ordered a special iced latte called the Jolene, which tasted just like a dark chocolate raspberry truffle! The Old Florida crepe filled with interesting ingredients like orange slices and sweet cream, but I felt disappointed by the crepe exterior itself which was kinda thick, chewy and rough. My family and I have been wanting to try this place for a while. About 6 months... We went this past Monday and were disappointed. If you are the type of person who checks for an online menu before you go to a restaurant or any other place, then forget what you see here. We were already set on what we were getting. It was a Monday and wanted to be mindful of others. Their menu on here and Maps is outdated. There is not a wide variety of much of anything, other than old school candies. I generally get some type of latte with oat milk with one less pump of syrup if getting a flavor so it's not too sweet (I do this at any coffee shop - everyone's sweetness preference is different!) Checked out Old Florida Coffee co today and it is our new local coffee shop. Will definitely drive the 20+minutes whenever we need a pick me up. We just moved to PSL and love to support local when we can. They were roasting a new batch of beans and the owner Danny took the time to explain their different varietals and helped me picked two different beans to have at home. Whether you are a coffee "snob" or only know how to order at Starbucks or have ad coffee before - there is something for you. You can even build your own drink if you don't know the difference between a latte, americano or pour over. It takes the intimidation out of ordering! It is clean, you are able to social distance and masks are welcome! The staff is kind and it is in a great location! Can't say enough about it our first experience. My fiancé said a 4 but I wanted to give a three. The aftertaste was a little bitter when the coffee got cold. I didn't drink it when it was warm bcas I gave it back to make it hotter and I don't think they believed me when I said I wanted hotter. I decided to eat my crepe instead, I chose the number one selling crepe but it didn't have much flavor, next time I'll have to ask for them to add salt and pepper. They ran out of sriracha sauce, and was hoping at least hot sauce but none. I'm not a ketchup person with my eggs. I'll give them another try with the crepe next I'm in town. read more
