Parking sucks, customers let their friends/family cut when there is clearly a line and staff says nothing because they are understaffed. This is one of our favorite coffee places around. It's located just after the "corner of confusion" in the historic part of downtown Stuart. They've been here for quite some time, and that's because this place is quality. They source their own beans, and sell them whole for maximum at-home coffee pleasure. They're certainly not cheap, but they are delicious. We've tried many single origin beans they offer from Colombia, Ecuador, Africa (Kenya, Ethiopia), and more! They offer specialty beans that aren't always available here, like Bomb Jesus. These teeny lil coffee beans were a great treat, and at nearly $28 for the bag of beans, a treat it was! As the name may suggest, they also sell vinyls. They also sell different coffee "machines" from pour-overs to fancy Japanese coffee makers. They do offer baked goods, but we haven't tried them. We really come here to purchase high quality whole bean coffee! read more

I absolutely love the Roasted Record! When in Port St. Lucie, there aren't too many specialty coffee shops in the area. So, it is such a pleasure to frequent a cool shop like this one! Long story short, the coffee is amazing (10/10) it's roasted in house. The staff is great. Plus there's parking (limited but there's more across the street), lots of seating, WiFi, and pastries/quick snacks. Alright, I'm obsessed so I must elaborate on everything I love. It smells absolutely delicious upon first entering. I love the mid-century style. There are lots of records to sort through for purchase (hence the name hehe) and coffee related merchandise. It's cool how they display other local businesses' cards in the front and use some locally owned products, like the infused honeys. One day I'll buy a bag of beans to use at home but I'm not there yet in my coffee journey. For now I'll stick to buying all the delicious pastries they offer. Get the chocolate cheesecake you won't regret it! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's clear they have plenty of regulars that have turned into friends. Mike Mann founded the Roasted Record to combine his love of coffee roasting and vinyl records. In 2020 The Roasted Record moved into this former floral shop in The Creek, downtown Stuart's art and entertainment district. In need of some caffeinated refreshment, I discovered The Roasted Record while attending the Stuart Craft Festival. You have your choice of sitting outside in their courtyard in front or inside the coffee house. They have partnered with local bakeries to offer a menu of light bites including bagels, croissants, and quiche. Of course they have all of your favorite coffee drinks made with their freshly roasted coffee and they include monthly flavors. In honor of Halloween they are serving Basic Witch, Nutty Maple Latte, and a Snickerdoodle Cappuccino. If you prefer to grind your own coffee at home, you can purchase a bag of their beans. They also have tea and local craft beers. I had the most delicious iced latte crafted with care from The Roasted Record. I love independent coffee houses like this and they have done a great job of connecting with their community. In addition to supporting local bakeries they also sell plants. For Halloween they had some in the cutest Frankenstein and mummy containers. All you have to do is scan the QR code to pay and show it to the employee. In addition to bringing other businesses in, you can find their coffee in some of the cafes and restaurants in town. The Roasted Record has been on my short list to visit for a long time. I've watched them from afar while living in Chicago, and finally got to steal some time for myself while I was back home for the holiday. The parking lot is small (like very small). There was a spot available for me when I visited. Their front patio is beautiful and right on Colorado, perfect for sitting outside to read or work, while enjoying a snack or drink. My favorite thing is that they have a table for a record player and include a "now spinning", and a cool vinyl collection for anyone looking to scoop up some music purchases while they're in. It definitely makes for a cool vibe. There were a handful of people seated inside, it was warm outside. There is couch seating, small tables, and a few bar seats. I came specifically to try their holiday drinks so chose their take on a peppermint mocha. There's a small case with bakery items and I also decided on a carrot muffin. They also offered some breakfast wraps, which sounded delicious (alas I passed this trip). The barista/cashier was so friendly, and even entertained my story about coming into town. I chose my order for dine in, and sat at the bar. My order was up pretty quick. The muffin was very similar to a carrot cake but less desserty feeling. I didn't even leave a crumb, it was delicious. The holiday drink was delicious, smooth and balanced. They include a crushed peppermint on the whipped cream which is a fun and festive inclusion! On a recent trip to Florida my wife and I stayed a couple of nights with family in the treasure coast. After a quick walk on the beach we were all in need of a pick me up and found this place on Yelp. With it being New Years Day, we were not sure if the place was open or not but to our suprise it was. What was supposed to be a quick stop for coffee turned in to a good 30 minutes of resting and relaxing. Coffee in one hand, and a piece of oreo cookie cream pie in the other. Throw in some music and a clean and well lit enviroment, and the result was a great time to cherish family in a season of life where we have come to learn just how precious that can be. What a fun little spot! And I do mean little - particularly the parking haha. Expect the lot to be full! Inside was very neat - there are used records for sale and music playing. Cool vibes! They also had beans and coffee making equipment for sale. I got a loose leaf chai latte and it was soooo good. Chai lattes are often dangerously sweet, but this was perfect. It was real tea! I don't post reviews ever, but this time I think is necessary and meritorious . This past Sunday (1-19-25) I went to celebrate my birthday with my family. We agreed to travel halfway from Miami and Orlando to meet in Stuart, FL for a nice dinner. After that, my niece, who knows my passion for music, vinyl records and good coffee, surprised me by taking me to this place. My first impression was "wow" my two passions combined in one place. What a cool concept, I said. So, as all my family (14 members) walked into the shop just before 6pm, we started ordering. While on line and after taking our first order, the young lady at the register said: We are closing now, I cant take more orders. Leaving some of us in disbelief but immediately agree and stepped aside. The rest of us, oblivious to what was going on, were observing the place, flipping through vinyl records and complimenting the place. To our surprise, we were abruptly approached by another young lady stated: We are locking up and you all need to make your way out. No tact, no apologies or at least an invitation to come another day. The problem here; the hours advertised were showing 8pm as the closing time and not 6pm. However, we all looked at each other, still in disbelief as it was a joke, and proceeded to exit and go to the parking lot in the back. While there and commenting about what just happened, a gentleman arrived to also enjoy an evening coffee. To his surprise, the door was locked and while he questioned the employees from the outside. He asked us and we explained that we were just told to leave even though the closing time was 8pm. Also, that we were all told to look at a sign at the door...contradictory information maybe? This gentleman was also in disbelief since he stated that he is a regular at this place and actually knows the owner very well. The gentleman was kind enough to apologize on behalf of the owner and told us he would let him know about how all 14 of us (15 with him) were denied service and "kicked out" of the coffee shop as the employees were walking behind us. Maybe they make enough money and don't need us as clients. Maybe it was just a bad day for those young ladies and they couldn't be nicer or polite. Maybe it was just bad luck. But the truth of the matter is that something that was promising to be a great time with family on my birthday, turned out to be a bitter disappointment and bad experience without even being allowed to consume at the place. Not to mention that I am a vinyl enthusiast and collector with a tendency to spend quite some money on records every time I visit a store, which was also not possible that night. My two cents, if you change your hours, try to update them on the internet. If you see 14 people getting into your business near closing time, be nice and let them know before they get the idea that they will be allowed to consume. If you have young people being the face of your business, let them know that EVERYONE deserves a fair treatment regardless of their age, ethnicity or any other identifiers. And yes, unfortunately I mentioned ethnicity because we were speaking Spanish, and I don't want to think that was a factor for our rough treatment. At the end of the day, we were all customers willing to spend our money at your coffee shop. Very disappointed about the poor experience at THE ROASTED RECORD COFFEE AND VINYL. read more

I had some time to kill in between appointments and found this coffee shop on Yelp. What a great find. If you come here you have to have the scones! Eating one of these is like tasting a bit of heaven. I had the chocolate chip toffee and it was divine! Flaky, tasty and buttery. Heavenly! My hot mocha with whipped crème was also very good. But the scones was the "piece de resistance!" It went beautifully with the mocha. The location reminded me very much of the places I used to go to in the pacific NW. Amazing smell of fresh roasted coffee beans, and a selection of house made syrups was all I needed to tell it was going to be a hit. Got the Cinnamon Dulce latte and it was made exceptionally. An unplanned stop, we visited for coffee after a picnic at the park. This coffeehouse opened the day prior to our visit. It was impeccably clean and the decor is great. It is spacious and designed to allow comfortable seating while maintaining safe distances. In addition to indoor seating, there is a fantastic outdoor area in front of the venue facing the street allowing for excellent people watching. The staff are very friendly and the coffee was delicious! My friend enjoyed a cold brew and I opted for an iced latte. Covid precautions were present and the restroom was clean. Stopped in here on recommendation from our realtor while we were in the area looking for houses and I'm glad we stopped in. The barista was super friendly and even though I requested a drink she didn't recommend, she made it and it was bomb. When I saw the Campfire Cap on the seasonal menu, I was sold on the Marshmallow. It was a hot FL day and we were about to walk across the street to the park with our two kiddos so I need a pick me up on ice. This hit the spot so I came back for a second after the park adventure. She also let us know that when we returned it was Happy Hour from 3-6 on all the craft beers. They had quite a selection which was surprising for a little coffee shop. They also had a nice selection of baked goods and some food items on their menu; vegan options as well. Overall, pretty cool place. We joined in on their perks because I'm sure we will be back again! I was visiting my sister-in-law in Florida and, knowing how much I freaking love hipster coffee, she was excited to take me to the Roasted Record. It did not disappoint. This groovy, unassuming little coffee shop is the definition of a hidden gem. Blink and you might miss it. What's super cool is that although this place should be hipster as hell, it's not unfriendly nor pretentious. It seems nowadays I brace myself before setting foot in a Third Wave coffee shop for the snark that is sure to follow. If The Roasted Record were in L.A., that would be the case. But in laid back Florida? Totally welcoming and chill. This place is all about quality and treating coffee as an art form. The barista took our order and took her time crafting our drinks. I got a cappuccino made with almond milk, and I was so impressed with how well she got it to froth. Normally a cappuccino made with anything but whole milk will be a disaster, but (and I don't know how she managed to do it), my coffee was beautiful and tasty. They roast beans on site, with many single origin coffees. You can also buy the beans if you'd prefer to make your own at home. It's pricey, but the shop is set up for socializing. I wouldn't hang out here and work on a laptop, but there are a few (uncomfortable) little seating nooks with metal stools and too-small tables but -- best of all -- vintage records you can take for a spin! We stopped on in here after a visit to Fruits and Roots (same area) as I wanted to check it out. I'm sure glad we did. What a cool coffee and record shop. When you enter you'll be welcomed kindly and given the time to pick what you'd like beverage wise or take a left and go look at the records for sale. (Some are not, but labeled as such) They have a record player if you want to play your record while you sip coffee or just want to listen to it before you buy it. Super cute wife and I looked over the records then got some coffee beans to go as well as an iced coffee. The iced coffee was delicious! Super Cute Wife is enjoying her morning coffee courtesy of the beans she selected. Great people, beautiful roaster and coffee stations (I'm not a big coffee person so I don't recall the exact name at the moment) and a great selection. The beans are excellent and the barista nailed my cortado perfectly. And that's not easy (apparently--I've only found two places out of many in my town who can do it right). They had heavy cream too, which was a bonus. We left with a bag of beans and I wish we'd bought two or three. Guess we'll be buying some online. If you're a fan of vinyl records, they had quite a collection for sale there, too. I recognized a lot of the bands. The whole space was also very clean and nicely decorated. They are located in what seems to be a historic area of town. We were staying at a B&B the night before which was just a couple of blocks away. If we'd known how close they were and how cute the whole area was, we probably would have walked to Roasted Record. Next time! read more
