Came here this morning 7/25 9AM. I got three chicken croquettes and a Natalie's orange juice. The orange juice was the star of the show. The CHICKEN croquettes taste like fish fritters. They didn't taste like anything I'm used to. I've grew eating authentic Cuban dishes and the croquettes that I ate from here is not one of those dishes. I came back seeking a refund or some kind of reimbursement. I recommended giving me another orange juice but the female cashier denied. The female cashier was not helpful or resolving of the matter. 0/10. Will not be returning. read more

We came here to eat lunch after I had a work thing. So when you walk into the place, it's inside a larger like building with multiple businesses inside of it. I've been working in this area for 6 years and never knew this place was here. We met the owners and their son. Very nice people. They talked us into the croquets, chicken sandwich and I think the Cuban. Everything was very good. Knock my socks off best ever no. I thought the chicken sandwich could have a little more chicken. But overall I'd say solid to very good. The sauces they give you with the food was good. Little spicy for the orange sauce that came with then they also gave like a garlic sauce as well. I'm extremely happy to have found this place, it's a hole in the wall!! My wife and I were in the area and decided to try something new. Apple Maps showed this restaurant as an option and we headed that way. Parking was easy in the street and the parking lot on the shopping center. We usually eat at Old Florida which is two blocks away and didn't realized this restaurant was there. We tried the Ropa Vieja bowl (has a spicy sauce and even thou the bowl is big and can be shared, the ropa vieja is not enough) the pastelitos , the croquetas, a cafecito , the empanadas and the Pollo sandwich. Needless to say, everything tasted delicious. Service was great and they were quick to serve us. The seating area is on a shared but separated area with an Italian restaurant and others and there is a bathroom all the way in the back. read more

Just what I was looking for! Their customer service is top-tier! George immediately greeted me as I was reviewing the menu and realizing there's an 11 a.m. cutoff time for breakfast sandwiches. I mentioned I wasn't sure what to get since it was after 11. He kindly offered me a breakfast sandwich anyway, saying he still had bacon or ham available. Hooray! I was sitting at a table when George asked if I wanted the ham, egg & cheese for here or to go. When I got up, the table wobbled and my shot glass of cafecito spilled everywhere. The other gentleman was quick to assure me not to worry and immediately offered to replace it! I don't know what the ramekin of white sauce is, but it was a delicious addition to the sandwich. I came across this small cafeteria type establishment on a Saturday late morning. I also live in Miami so the idea of getting a cuban sandwich in Downton Fort Pierce intrigued me. It did not disappoint the cuban sandwich was delicious. The right amount of ham to pork ratio. The cheese was perfectly melted. The bread toasted just right. It was large in size and definitely satisfying. They had croquettes that were amazing. Tons of sweets, bowls, sandwiches. The presentation was also impressive. The ham croquette comes with a garlicky cream sauce that is delicious. The guava pastry is so flaky, and the guava filling was silky smooth. Someone made that with love! The cafe con leche is Cuban strong real coffee but everything I need in a cup! It's just really hot. What a Gem!!! If you walk too fast you'll miss it. It's a hole on the wall but do not let that fool you. I've moved to Fort Pierce a year ago and I just found this gem. The place is so cute. Extremely authentic. Delicious is an understatement. You can tell this place makes everything fresh. Prides themselves on presentation & flavor. Very glad I decided to make a stop at this location. Definitely added to my favorites for future vacations here. The owner was a sweetheart, as was his wife. They even gifted us a sweet treat before leaving. I have been eyeing this place for a while, and when I was finally in the area I decided to give it a try. The cafe is located inside a building and it's pretty easy to miss...I actually got lost finding it. The cafe is small and can be difficult to find seating, but the atmosphere is charming. The people working there were nice, attentive, and willing to answer any questions I had. I got the pan con lechón, a ham and cheese croqueta, a chicken croqueta, cold brew, and guava pastelitos. The croquetas were good and a good start to our lunch. Then the pan con lechón came out and it was plated nicely. I also liked how they included additional sauce on the side. The lechón itself was on the drier side, but I like how they included the crispy skin which was good. I guess im just used the the lechón being more moist in my sandwiches. The bread itself was delicious though, and the sauce helped a lot! The cold brews were a bit of a let down though....it just tasted like bitter water. They had no good coffee flavor, and I know if I added milk I would've barely tasted the coffee. I did get guava pastelitos to go, but I unfortunately left in my parents fridge when I left town. They were fresh out of the oven so that was a shame. Overall it's not a bad spot in downtown Fort Pierce to grab lunch. They just need to work on the cold brew. read more

For breakfast one day, I had cafe con leche, a beef empanada, and a guayaba y queso pastelito. It was morning stop after a long travel night and it made my day. A friendly shop with a family feel. With some seating shared with a neighboring restaurant's cool courtyard. The next day, for lunch I had the Havana George sandwich, the pastelito de guayaba y queso, and a cafe con leche.
