Best coffee in town! I went here twice in one weekend when I was visiting Vero. I've tried other shops in the area over the years and this one by far has actual authentic coffee that's roasted well. And the staff was amazing, I saw the same three baristas Samaya, Cindy, and Angela and each time they were incredibly helpful and attentive, very sweet and professional. You don't often get that kind of experience these days, they genuinely seemed to love their job. Would definitely recommend this place, great atmosphere and amazing coffee. read more

A great place to meet up for coffee. We stopped here after strolling the farmers market on A1A. Coffee House 1420 is very cozy and has really nice ceramic mugs and bowls for sale. Their pastry looked so inviting but seeing that we were still really full from breakfast, we had sparkling lemon aid. If I lived nearby, I'd be here all of the time. Every drink my wife or I have gotten here has been exceptional. A little on the pricey side but if that's what you have to pay to get this level of quality I will deal with it. I'd rather the prices stay where they are and continue to get the best then have them lower the prices and something has to give and it's usually quality then good service follows after. Busy busy place! Decorated nicely (even outside with a fancy mural) and fantastic muffins. My Bee latte was delicious--I'm a sucker for lavender in my drink. The morning glory was honestly to die for. Definitely looked like the spot where all the locals gather. Parking was close and free as well. read more

Came here for breakfast and I like the feel of the place very cozy. The pastries looked good but I didn't try any. I got the quiche and my husband had their breakfast sandwich. I really want to give this place more stars since there aren't a lot of convenient cafes in the area. However with that being said, I ordered a latte and a sandwich. Two items. And the total came out to be 18$? Now either they have a mythical goose in the back alley taking a plump gump into my coffee, or these prices are outrageous. The latte was mediocre at best, I've had better drip coffee at the best western on 60 when I was having a secret affair with my cousins secretary. The sandwich was also bland. I expected more flavor considering the amount of ingredients they add to a basic sandwich. Why do I need arugula on a bacon egg and cheese? Sometimes simplicity is enough and creativity can destroy. It tasted like Ned Flanders farted into a crockpot sitting under a "Live laugh love" sign and then right before I ate, four Mormons made me bless the sandwich while they scrubbed every bit of seasoning off the meat. I like the atmosphere but there needs to be something done about these ridiculous prices for mediocre food. read more

Been coming here for four years now... and still does not disappoint. The coffee and teas continue to be outstanding and so is the service. Unfortunately, my dietary restrictions prohibit me from having my favorite items but the turkey salad has become my go to GF option. My favorite part is the vibe. This place was packed!!!! We went on a Friday morning around 9:30am. The atmosphere was busy and cozy. They had an arrangement of handmade pots/bowls and mugs that were so cute right in front when you walked in. Service was very friendly. Wait time was minimal so that was surprising with how many people were there. Parking was either street parking in front or back lot parking with some pay to park spots as well. We entered through the back which was a little difficult to find cuz their logo was on a door with about 2-3 other businesses, but if that happens to you just look for the traditional red/white/blue barber shop pole, that's the door you go through on the back of the coffee shop. I ordered the chai tea latte and the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was amazing with bacon on it, I'm not a huge arugula person but the dijonaise sauce was phenomenal!! Food: I had an iced latte since they could not make what I originally ordered (I'll come back to this) and the lunch cubano sandwich. In my opinion, the bread tasted stale, the mustard flavor was overpowering, and the lunch cubano sandwich did not have a lot of meat. Service: The service, in my opinion, was a large downfall given when I ordered a menu item over ice the owner gave me large push back and in my opinion essentially refused to make it. In my opinion, I feel like it's odd to have a coffee shop as a business and not be able to accommodate your customer needs and requests, especially on a hot summer day in Florida. If I recall correctly, I believe the owner or manger (Will) even said, "just tell me what you want to see in your cup." In my opinion, this is not the service I would expect from a coffee shop that wants to charge $6 for a coffee. Ambiance: The location does have really great decor! I honestly don't go to Vero without going to Coffee House 1420. My general go-to (anywhere) is an iced latte with an extra shot. Absolutely love their espresso, and today I tried their food for the first time. It was better than I had expected. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant. It was delicious! The croissant was better than it had looked in the case. Service is always friendly, and as long as you have noise canceling headphones, the inside also has lots of tables to work from. Fast, friendly, and attentive service. Came in as a first-timer and was ready to order one of their pour overs, but learned you can only have it plain/black. Black coffee is not a bad thing and I have the palate for it, but today was an iced latte day; loaded with flavor and sweetener. I ordered an iced oat milk lavender latte. The coffee had depth, the lavender was subtle but present, and it wasn't too sweet or lacking. There is a bookcase filled with books covering various subjects, if you're in the mood to sit and sip and skim through some literature. Plenty of seating and a few private corners for studying, working, or even a relaxing moment to your self. The front right corner has a lounge area, so if you want to meet with a small group of friends, this is an ideal spot. There's shelves filled with their paraphernalia for their frequent quest and alike. Updated + 1 year: The breakfast sandwich on a croissant is my go-to. The strawberry quesito is also very good. Best coffee is the cinnamon toast latte with oat milk. My husband likes the cold brew and anything seasonal with chocolate (like smores latte). The 2 downsides I still have with this place is how loud the music is (even with noise cancelling headphone). I have occasionally asked the staff when it wasn't busy and fairly empty if it was possible to turn it down and they graciously did, but I just feel bad being "that person". If you're trying to work in a little quieter spot, the best seat is the back corner table farthest from the speaker (although it has no power outlets). The second is that the wifi is really unpredictable and can be slow, especially if it's busy it often will not connect. Anyhow, still my favorite local place. read more
