We have the court once a week from 5:30 - 7:00. While, I enjoy playing, one more half hour would be ideal. I may just be us, but we seem to rush with this type of time frame. We also tried to reserve the same spot on a different day and were told that it was on the books. However, it actually wasn't and we lost the spot for some reason. They can be a little disorganized at times, but that's my only real complaint. If you need your racquet restrung, then this is the best spot in town. They do an excellent job and have it ready for you in less than a week. For me, I can drop it off after playing and they will have it ready when I get there the following week. It's also only about $22 to have it done. It's and excellent service. This is a fun spot to play tennis and I always look forward to our weekly match. The people are friendly and helpful. They also keep plenty of water and towels stocked.

You can sometimes walk in and grab a court ... but we've found it's much smoother to call ahead and make a reservation in advance. If you're not a member, you can reserve courts three days in advance for around $8 an hour. You pay per court, not per person, which is a great deal if you're playing 2 on 2. Everyone we've spoken to at the front desk has been friendly and helpful! The Sportsplex also offers pickleball clinics and open play opportunities. We haven't tried either of these - but they seem to be well-organized! Like some other reviewers mention, the parking can be a bit tricky if there's some sort of tournament going on. If you're worried about the facilities being busy, I recommend calling ahead to see what they have planned for the day. you'd like to play.

You can also get free karate lessons and such if you happen to live in the complex. Honestly, I wouldn't pay for this place were I not in residence. Amongst the treadmills that sometimes work, the other equipment that is older than dirt, and the single television that's usually stuck on Barney or some other PBS children's show, it's just not worth the money. I know there are other gyms in the area, so unless your game is tennis, I'd say shop around.

I've done this for about 5 days now and someone just came up to me and said they don't allow furniture in the pool... umm does a crummy plastic pool chair count as "furniture" ? Also, a few days ago it started thundering so they "shut the pool down" for 30 minutes. Well I left our pool bag out on a table not thinking it was completely necessary to pack all the way up and just used it as a break for a snack. Well after the first 30 minutes were up and there was still some distant thunder I decided we should just pack up and go home. So I walked back to the pool to grab our stuff and was again aggressively whistled at. It was embarrassing and angered me. Parking appears to be adequate but always very full. Entrance and exit is a single option off of Commonwealth Drive (cutting through to the adjacent elementary school is blocked off for safety reasons).

This past weekend there was a 14 U baseball tournament and baseballs were CONSTANTLY flying around spectator viewing areas as well as landing in other baseball fields during games?!?!? Every 1-2 minutes during games fans were screaming "HEADS UP" because there were so many baseballs being hit outside of the field. The current set up is not safe to host middle school and high school baseball. Lastly, the entrance and walkway in the park does not meet ADA regulations. People cannot safely propel wheelchairs or walkers on the small ramp nor on the walkway leading to the fields. The walkway is uneven, surface area needs replaced and there are large potholes.
