This is a great community asset because it fills many needs for the city. I used to use the gym here regularly. It is fairly simple, nothing too advanced and all of the machines are very well maintained. There is only one of each kind of machine, except for benches, which causes short waits when the gym is busy. Several full sets of dumbells are available. There are about 8 treadmills, plus elliptical, rowing and biking machines! There are two gyms, a larger one and a smaller one that can be used for basketball or volleyball. A nice pool area has a wading pool, a lap pool and a water slide for the small people. There is a game room with electronic as well as other games. I have not used it, but they also have a small library and a theater! The link has the latest fees, but it cost me $3 for a day pass and I can also use the gym at Sports.com for the day. What a deal!

Who knew this gem was here! Indoor water park for the kids, theater for recitals, an indoor track, pool and ping pong tables, tons of activities. Perfect for winter time activities!

Still great but I want to note that day passes are now 4$ as of 12/1/17. It does include fitness classes and racquetball now though.

The equipment is rarely ever broken, it if does, it's repaired same day or the day after. I've been to golds where machines go down for months. It's a bit pricier than other gyms, but is always way cleaner. We have an app that allows us in after staff hours, so only members can go in for a true 24/7 experience. Only gripe is that I wish it was a little bigger during the times when personal trainers have their classes, but we make it work. Staff is also A1. They do sell supplements and clothing in the gym as well, which is also a great thing.

Really impressive gym!…read more In town at a hotel across the street. Came into Carbon Culture and man am I impressed. For your first visit you need to go in during staffed hours but they will set you up with guest passes, which were extremely reasonable $. You can also pay a bit more and obtain 24/7 access. The staff was friendly and the owner even introduced himself during his workout; that tells me a lot about the culture they try to create for their members. They have have a ton of equipment with stuff upstairs and down. Most equipment is plate loaded or free weights with just a few plate stack machines. It's a different brand (Arsenal) but much of their equipment is "Hammer Strength" style. There are two bathrooms upstairs (with showers) and two downstairs. If I were to give any criticism, it would be that equipment needs to be wiped down and facility needs a deep clean. There is a lot of dust and grim on equipment where lifters don't make contact with the machines or the floor. That said overall cleanliness was completely fine!

Only reason not a 1 star is because the gym itself has a decent atmosphere but the contract they…read moreput you on for their membership is ridiculous. You have to lock in a 2 year contract w them and pay yearly fees up to $60 on top of the $15 a month. After your contract is up, it doesn't automatically void your membership like it should and they continue billing your bank each month without notifying you or anything. They won't let you cancel it over the phone either so you have to drive there and do it in person. I live in Nashville and hardly ever have time to drive all the way to murfreesboro to workout for an hour when it takes me about an hour there and back. Would absolutely recommend to someone who lives close and will go consistently every week to get their money's worth but definitely not otherwise, huge waste of $$$$.

I've gotten three of my friends to join and they're improving themselves as well. It's a healthy gym environment. It's not an Instagram reel gym. It's a gym for people ready to work out and put in actual work.

I am a long-time Crunch Fitness member from the West Hollywood location, currently in town on…read morebusiness, and I have to say this was one of the most unprofessional gym experiences I've ever had. A gym should be a place where members feel welcome and respected. Instead, this location left me dealing with staff who thought it was appropriate to stand around gossiping about guests. Specifically, the Black female employee (with the very obvious, poorly kept wig) and the White male janitor decided their time was better spent making negative comments about paying members instead of doing their jobs. I don't know if this is the kind of "culture" management condones here, but it was beyond ridiculous, childish, and completely unnecessary. I travel often and have been to multiple Crunch gyms across the country, and I have never experienced staff so blatantly unprofessional. When you're in town on business, the last thing you should have to deal with is feeling like you walked into a high school cafeteria instead of a fitness facility. At my home location in West Hollywood, staff go out of their way to create a positive, supportive environment. Here, it seems some employees would rather stand around acting like mean kids than maintain the level of professionalism Crunch claims to represent. Members are paying customers, not targets for staff gossip. If this location wants to maintain any standard of excellence, management needs to address this behavior immediately. And if it isn't corrected, I'll be more than happy to escalate this to Crunch corporate, because this type of behavior drags down the reputation of the entire brand. As someone who travels frequently, I often recommend gyms to colleagues and other business travelers. Unfortunately, I cannot in good faith recommend this location to anyone until the staff learn the basics of respect and professionalism.
