The selection is incredible, with everything from large balls of freshly made mozzarella to eggplant, rice balls, and so many other classic Italian favorites. They do offer subs, but one of the best parts is being able to build your own at home--they'll happily slice up a pound of whatever cold cuts you choose. I was also pleasantly surprised to find imported olive oil straight from Sicily for $25, which I couldn't pass up. Fair warning: it's very easy to get carried away here. Just standing there, taking in all the options, you'll likely walk out with way more than you planned--but it's completely worth it. I ended up making my own sandwich using homemade sourdough from a local shop down the street, and the combination was perfect. Supporting locally owned businesses like this makes the experience even better. You get quality, authenticity, and real ingredients--something you just don't find with big chain stores.
