This was my first time going into Ellie's Deli. In the past it's been catered at events and or at family gatherings. It's a small restaurant inside with the deli in the front with several baked pie slices and other items on display. I wanted to place an order for a full pie. Parking and seating are a little tight at this downtown deli. But the food was pretty good. A great selection of sandwiches and salads we placed a to-go order for a party of 6 and it was ready pretty quickly. The fish dip was very good - I appreciated the toppings as well. My corned beef sandwich was very good. The potato salad was just okay but the desserts made up for it. The lady that was serving us was very nice but she seemed a bit confused by the questions we were asking as this was our first visit. My first time here. like most of us I had my own favorite deli. First off the place is quite charming with the outdoor porch seating. There is indoor seating as well with table service! The food is beyond amazing. Not one of us was able to finish our sandwiches and wraps. I had the big one, delish. Mom had the zen wrap, and our companion had the hot Italian. Located in the "historic" district near downtown Stuart is this gem of a lunch place! Great sandwiches, daily soups, salads galore, and homemade desserts can all be found here at Ellie's. This is a smaller, older building and that only adds to their charm. Parking is nearby on the streets, and there are a couple of places behind the building as well. Outside seating is plentiful, there are tables on their nice patio as well as their porch. Inside are about 6 tables or so, and it's a tight (but quaint, I promise) squeeze. Service is friendly and efficient! We love their Hot pressed Italian panini, their turkey powerhouse panini, their salads, buffalo chicken wrap, and dessert is not to be missed. The sandwiches all come with a side, which they make all in-house. We enjoy their beet salad, potato salad, pasta salad, couscous, cuke salad, or you can do Dirty Chips brand of chips for a small up-charge. They do serve beer and wine and soft drinks. For dessert, their homemade pies are delicious. We usually get a slice to take home for later, as their portions aren't small! Oreo pie, coconut cream pie, and peanut butter pie are among the favorites. They also sell "half pound cookies ". These are HUGE but sadly we've had some stale ones throughout our many visits so we tend to be a lil weary of those despite their physical beauty. Went to Ellie's to get sandwiches for a trip to CT. I always try to take my own food when flying because the alternatives are not good. Ordered 2 Italian subs. They were nice enough to put all the oil and vinegar on the side so the sandwiches were not soggy. The sandwiches were huge so my sister and I split one on the flight and saved the second for later. The place was very nice all the tables were full and most of the outside tables were occupied. Need to go back and try some of the other menu items. read more

U had the slider special; 3 soft and perfectly cooked burgers, on beautiful pillowy buns, tomatoes were so perfect and a nice slice (not some slim sad thing) these were magazine worthy, pickles lettuce..totally delicious!! As a side I tried the potato salad as our lady server recommended, very yummy!! Ice tea nice and fresh. I also paid online, which I love for the quick pickup. I received an estimated time online & got a text when it was ready which aligned when they said it would be. The Staff was friendly.
