Staying close by on Vacation and found Old Hickory Pizza & Pub. Decided to grab a pie to go for a late lunch or lupper. Went with the Old Hickory Supreme with Pepperoni, Sausage, Beef, Bacon, onions, and green peppers. No olives or mushrooms. I was honestly expecting just an ok pizza, but this was not that. They have a nice crisp crust, not thin and not overtly thick. The toppings - wow! That's how a supreme should come, crisp peppers and lots of meat. Really good flavor from everything coming together with the cheese and sauce left me satisfied with that comfort food feeling. This is a solid pizza. The staff were awesome and I would definitely order pizza from here if in the area. read more

Located in the Old Hickory Village. Has outdoor seating and fantastic service. Very casual dining. Paper plates and a roll of paper towels on your table. The food is really good, I had Beer Dip with warm pretzels and Margarita Pizza (tomatoes & Spinach with red sauce) . Their large pizza is huge and their prices are very reasonable. They have a large Beer Selection, for all of you that like beer. Great place to bring your own bottle of wine and pay a small cork fee. We suggested they offer live music more frequently since this is "Music City" Friendly neighborhood Restaurant to frequent. read more

First time coming here since they opened, and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Inside was spacious considering how small it looked from the outside, with lots of seating available inside and on the patio. The food was good, I loved the Stix appetizer, loaded with sauce so good! Kids loved their cheese pizza with mac&cheese and pineapple, and my husband really liked his sweet and spicy pizza i ordered a meatball sub and due to me being pregnant was unable to eat it due to an onset of an aversion to it unfortunately but my Daughter loved the meatballs and cheese and we did bring it home! I did have the sugar stix and loved them very soft and sweet with a great dipping sauce. They even had athletic N/A beer available for my husband which was great. We did have one small mishap with our food taking a little longer than expected due to two pizzas in our order running into each other in the oven (per the waitress ) so they had to make fresh ones since the others were too burnt. We weren't too worried but they did fix the problem and made it right for us as well. Pizza was nothing special, it tasted fine, sauce is a bit acidic tho. Beer cheese is delish... small salads are very ample in size. Service was good, waitresses were very nice and helpful. It's a very calm environment. We will return to try other items on the menu. read more

This review is based on delivery for DoorDash. Normally, I go into the pub and have food so I decided to DoorDash the food because it's absolutely delicious. It arrived and was not in a bag that was tied nor was the pizza box or salad lid taped down. Normally, if I was picking up, I wouldn't care- but because you have random people picking up your food and delivering it, you never know who someone is and maybe what they do or don't do, to your food. I spent $30 on my order only to be nervous to eat it because it was not put in a bag and tied off. I called and spoke to Hillary and she told me that the pizza box (small pizza) and salad were too big to put in a grocery bag to tie off. But I would think that since your customers matter (the driving force of your business), you would put the salad in one bag and the pizza in the other and then put them together for pick up and delivery. she didn't really seem to bothered by it. However, I got a grocery bag out and put my pizza and my salad in there and tied it off- it literally fit perfectly. I think customers food safety is more important than arguing with a customer about how the food won't fit in a plastic grocery store size bag. Find a way to make it work to keep your customers food safe when it's being delivered by somebody that you don't know. And normally I would just come in, but my car has not been working so I decided to DoorDash it. Server was nice and pizza was good with a nice variety of specialty pizzas. Only thing I wasn't prepared for was eating pizza on a very thin paper plate with plastic cutlery. My fork broke twice and was very hard to cut on the paper surface. Will probably just order takeout because it is very good but won't dine in again. (First time I've ever been given paper plates in a restaurant, lol.) read more
