Sal's is our go-to when we're craving pizza! Their pizza is authentic, delicious, and always fresh. Their pasta is incredible - probably some of the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend the pesto fettuccine alfredo - it's one of my favorites! The service is great, the staff are always kind, and it's very quick. My wife and I recently moved to Nashville and while trying local spots we came across Sal's pizza. The ambiance is very warm and inviting. You can tell it is family owned and operated which always results in speedy and positive service, haven't had a bad experience yet. The food is amazing, the pizza crust in particular is really well done and you can taste the quality ingredients. My wife loves the pasta and cannolis as well. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet but so far you just can't go wrong. Passing through or just moved in and looking for a regular pizza spot, be sure to give Sal's a try. read more

A very solid NY Pizza spot. A quiet little spot with a nice clean design that also has just the undertones of your go to pizza shop. It didn't have the red and white tablecloths or none of that, but there was just something about the vibe. Service was great, all the wait staff was very nice and very fast. Pizza was really good. Absolutely nails the flavor. The cheese was flavorful, the dough was thin and crispy, and the crust was cooked to perfection. All was made to order and came out smoking hot. Could maybe use just a bit more depth of flavor and add a tiny little ingredient here or there to really make it pop, but overall it's a really well rounded slice of pizza read more

Yo do not get anything with chicken from here it was so bad I couldn't even eat it both the chicken nuggets & chicken parm sub were terrible I couldn't even force myself to eat I am so bummed out I was so excited to try this place. On a recent visit to Nashville, Sal's pizza was our absolute favorite food that we ate. We ordered off of DoorDash and the reviews are much higher there than they are on Yelp. Everything was amazing. I'm not sure what it's called but we got a stuffed c pizza that was phenomenal, a thin, supreme pizza, and a set of wonderfully flavored chicken wings. Everything came promptly, hot, and the order was executed perfectly. I don't know if I will be back to Nashville, but I will always fondly remember the delicious pizza we ordered from Sal's. The meats were fresh and flavorful, and the flavor of the sauce was unbelievable. From the moment we ordered, we ate the leftovers every day until they were gone. read more

We went to Sal's to order pizza on Christmas eve for the entire family. This was my first visit to Sal's and I ordered over the phone. The customer service over the phone was friendly and easy to order. I walked in, my pies were ready and paid and walked out the door. I was very impressed with the pizza. Very big slices, the sauce was a little sweet (i liked it) and it tasted great. I highly recommend getting some pizza. We got three pizzas and two orders of wings for $100. A little pricey but the experience and the food were great. Overall, I definitely will be back as it is one of the better pizza places in the area. read more

This is the closest I've come to finding true New York slice in middle TN. No frills, no gimmick, just a great foldable slice. Toppings are fresh, sauce isn't too tart or too sweet, crust is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Orders are always on time and correct. Never had a bad meal from Sal's! read more

Pizza is HIGHLY mediocre. I am a pizza person and have high standards.... Heard NY Style and decided to try it. $25 for a 14 inch pizza with two toppings. Really not that good. I judge pizza by the taste of ingredients and actually will taste each sausage/ cheese/ pepperoni/ sauce and crust each; none of these were even outstanding. This was a nice surprise that our hotel suggested. The place was slammed when we arrived which was a good sign. They quickly had us at a table. It did take a while to take our order and get us our drinks, but they were really busy. The food came out pretty quick and both the kiddo and I enjoyed it. One of my favorite NY style pizza in the area. No greasy pizza or feeling of bloat after eating. Toppings are fantastic and like the thinner pizza crust. Done just like the northeast. We had some pizza at a birthday party and had to visit the one off Nolensville Rd/Old hickory to bring home for dinner. We ordered the supreme and cheese pizza and enjoyed both. The pizza was a solid 4. That thin flexible Neapolitan style. The pepperoni was a 3 the sausage a 4 the mushrooms a 4 the bell pepper a 4 the onion a 4. The olives a 3. I purchased the spaghetti with meat sauce, a large pizza with extra cheese, sausage, peppers and onions. Also ordered cheese bread with marinara sauce. The cheese bread was the best thing I tasted from this order. The pizza dough was raw underneath all the cheese and toppings which were actually fresh. When I grabbed a slice all the toppings fell off and the dough was limp and soggy. The spaghetti sauce had zero flavor/seasonings. I had to doctor it up to even tolerate it so as to not let it go to waste. Will not be spending another dime on this place. Do not recommend. So much potential but so little care goes into this food and it's obvious. read more

Don't waste your time. The best thing about the place was the server, nice lady. Cheese sticks were terrible, marinara was terrible - how do you mess up fried cheese sticks and marinara??? At a pizza place no less??? Sal's Special Pizza was just OK, not good. I would rather have a frozen pizza that I make at home. Service was good, until you have to pay the check. They make you pay up front and then you have to get in line with the punks, thugs, dregs and broke jokers buying slices. I've already been here for an hour and I have to get in line to pay???? Shouldn't take 20 minutes to pay your check! Again, don't waste your time!!! read more

We live right up the road from Sal's and it is great! We order for. There all the time, but I usually get the same thing. Their garlic bread with cheese is amazing! Their wings are not the best around, but good enough to satisfy a wing craving. Their pizza is delicious! I usually get pepperoni and banana pepper. My only complaint with the pizza is that it is very flimsy so it is hard to eat and pretty greasy. Great for pick-ups and delivery, pretty slow on the inside though. read more

We live right up the road from Sal's and love it! We usually get pizza with banana peppers and pepperoni. It is always good. My only complaints are that it is flimsy (I have to eat most of it with a fork) and t is pretty greasy. We have had the hot wings before and they were not amazing, but good enough to satisfy that craving if you are already getting pizza:) I have also had their garlic bread with cheese and it is wonderful! read more

back in town for a visit, hosts recommended Sal's for pizza. Had the Sal's Pesto Vegetarian, and was quite pleased with it. Solid pesto, tasty sundried tomatoes, generous amount of spinach, and a good amount of feta to boot. My hosts normally get Sal's Special, shared a piece of mine. and said they will definitely get the Pesto Vegetarian next time. :-) read more

I stopped by at this place on my way home,i ordered a pizza it took them 45 minutes to cook it I don't know why they don't pay attention for customers , when finally got my order it was burned i was so pissed, don't come back again i better order from other Pizzeria read more

Great food! Horrible service. Waited 15 min at a table before the waitress had time to make it over to our table. Another 30 for the food. One waitress, one cook/front counter, and one bus boy. Could probably use a few more staff. read more
