First time back in a couple of years. First, much improved performance - food was better, service was better, and overall seemed cleaner and more inviting. My wife and I stopped here for lunch because we love Greek/Turkish food. My wife ordered the Chicken Schwarms and I ordered the Lamb Gyro. You order and then stand by while it's made to your specification of fillers. I added the tabbouleh, onions, feta, olives and Tzatziki sauce. The amount of meat was overwhelming. It was packed into a deliciously fresh pita bread. It was delicious and so much to eat that I took half home for my dinner later that evening. I topped the lunch off with a Baklava which was the only disappointment of my visit. It was dry with no ooey-gooey honey dripping through my fingers. read more

Mixed Grill Gyros are still excellent. We tried to order online through DoorDash which almost caused a divorce due to the stress it produced, but our sons saved the marriage by ordering at the restaurant instead. What originally started as a stressful situation ended up saving a lot of money because of DoorDash's overpriced fees. As for the food, the restaurant has expanded their menu from the last time we went and has given my family new reasons to bump it up on the list of Saturday night meals. Everyone in the house was well pleased with the flavor and portion size. And, as always, the workers are always friendly and welcoming. read more

A new Greek spot finally opened back up in the old greek spot place near Planet Fitness and Calabria. We'd been missing our greek fix for sure and were thrilled these guys came in and took over. The folks inside are super nice guys and want you to enjoy your food and experience. If you're not familiar with what they have to offer, just ask and they'll be glad to explain everything to you. I'll say this for sure: I haven't had a ton of falafel in my life, but of those that I've had, theirs was the single best ever! Definitely a must-try if you're stopping in. The rest was very good Mediterranean fare with fresh meats, quality veggies, good salads and that must-have cool taste of the tzatziki sauce. 10 out of freaking 10! In my opinion, it is hard to find GREAT Greek food anywhere. I have a favorite spot back in my hometown of the fabulous Las Vegas, and since moving away nothing has come close... until today!!!! One of the best gyros I've ever had and everything is so, so fresh. It's a little stinky when you first walk in, but don't let that steer you away. Service is great and quick. Hungry for Greek food on our way home to Knox after a visit to Vanderbilt in Nashville, we stopped at Mixed Grill Gyros in Mt. Juliet because it had top-notch Yelp reviews. While it wasn't the best Mediterranean food I've eaten, my chicken shawarma on warm pita bread satisfied my craving. The combo I ordered came with a drink and either rice, French fries or tabouli salad; I chose the latter - a lemony mix of chopped parsley, tomatoes and onions. My spouse and I split a baklava which was on the dry side as it could have incorporated more honey. The restaurant was clean, and the food was prepared while watching the cooks fix it. Price wise - reasonable. $10.99 for the combo. read more

The food was fine, gyro was ok. The fries were so so. The real bummer was the tables looked dirty. They leave the rolls of paper towels on the table, thats good. We tried this place and are happy we did. The staff was friendly and it was clean. My husband got a cheese steak and I got a gyro plate. The food was really good. I took away just one star because I thought the tzatziki sauce was a bit bland, and that's a pretty big component of a gyro plate. Would love to see some more flavor in the sauce. They have a punch card- after 10 visits get $5 off. There are plenty of booths to sit and eat at. I will definitely be back again! read more

Wow this place was pretty surprising! Stopped in on a whim for a late lunch while on the road, all I knew was it was way past lunch time and I didn't feel like turning left across traffic so I wanted someplace on the right side of the road. There were four of us, we got a cheeseburger combo, a gyro combo, a gyro plate, and a mixed (spicy) plate. Combos come with 1 choice of side, fries or salad or rice. Plates come with rice and a salad. When they are getting your food ready the cook will holler an order to get your attention so you can answer his questions (what you want on gyro, or what kind of salad you want). I was in the restroom when I was "called" so they decided for me I'll be having the Greek salad as opposed to the tabouleh LOL. That's fine it's what I would have picked anyway. read more

I compare the amount of food with a tiny scoop of chicken salad and chips for the same price at a chain restaurant.. you won't leave hungry here!
