Chocolates and a doggie treat
Jeanette C.

I love chocolates and glad I found this store during my time in Lexington, KY! If I could have it my way, I would've bought one of each chocolate, but I decided to pick an assortment from the case. My favorite was the Bourbon Cherry Truffle. They also sell dog treats that my dog enjoyed!

Old Kentucjy Chocolates has brought its deliciousness to Hamburg. It's a beautiful, bountiful store with a fabulous array of their chocolates and some gift items, horsey and UK included. There is even a small patio. A stop for a treat is a must.

Oh hey there Chocolate Holler! I dig the new location :)…read more Located in Greyline Station, it was much easier to find parking here in the large lot behind the building versus the tiny lot at the previous location. It's been exactly one year since we last visited that old location, which has since closed. Though I have many years of memories tied to that one, I'm glad to see that business didn't close entirely. We were welcomed by a super-friendly and super-helpful barista who answered any of my "what is vegan?" questions. I ordered a Sipping Chocolate made with Davao, Philippines Dark Chocolate by Askinosie. Pinay-me was curious to taste chocolate by my people. It's delicious! https://bit.ly/3JHeBQL Hubby had the Brownie Batter Hot Chocolate. Also tasty! We actually came back five days later and had the Chocolate Chai. Yum! All of our drinks were made with oatmilk. Although this location is smaller than the OG location, it actually is very space-efficient with an abundant amount of tables and bar height seating. Also, a bit of outdoor seating and a few spots to sit around Greyline Station. They brought over remnants from the previous location such as board games and a collection of coffee sleeves with written messages on them.

That was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is very casual and welcoming. We both wanted some coffee and have never been to the chocolate holler so we came here. I had the white blossom drink and my husband had the sleeping bear. Both of our drinks were pretty good. Wish more espresso was given without extra charge but that seems like most places these days. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the drinks were tasty. Would definitely come back here when craving unique chocolatey treats.

The almond crossiant was everything it should be buttery, flaky, tasty. The almond filling was really good . As for the Mushroom and Brie crossiant its literally big enough to share if you pair it with fresh fruit or a side salad for brunch. My friend absolutely loved it and I had a small piece of it and again it was buttery and flaky as it should be. And as big as it was we both felt 6.50 was a reasonable price. The opera Cake was chocolatey and had a hint of coffee flavoring in it the filling was light and fluffy. Overall it was really good! Both my friend and I are European (she's from Germany and I'm Swiss and Spanish so we've eaten our fair share of European vs American bakery items. I have to say this was pretty close to what we've had in Europe. The woman at the counter was friendly and engaging. There was no line when I got there in the morning around 8:40 . I can see how on the weekends it gets busy there. The interior was really nice and looked comfortable. The bakery display cases were clean organized, good signage and well lit.

While online ordering is available, the true charm is found by visiting the Chevy Chase location in person--especially if you have the pleasure of working with Kelly. Kelly is exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations were thoughtful and perfectly suited to our tastes, making the experience feel both personal and elevated. I haven't yet visited the Hamburg location, but it's certainly on my list. During our visit, Kelly shared that Stuarto's hosts monthly cooking classes featuring their products. My husband and I decided to turn one into a date night, and it was a wonderful experience. The chef was engaging and articulate, the ingredients were prepped in advance, and the entire evening felt effortless yet refined--focused on flavor, technique, and enjoyment. A particularly lovely touch was that Kelly remembered us when we arrived for the class, reinforcing the level of care and attention that defines this business. From the quality of the oils and vinegars to the impeccable service and thoughtfully curated events, Stuarto's Olive Oil Company delivers excellence at every level. A truly polished experience--I highly recommend it.

A wonderful Olive Oil shop!…read more I visited the Chevy Chase location recently to pick up a housewarming gift. The woman working, I believe her name was Kelly, was so helpful in helping me select an olive oil and vinegar pair which was great because there is a huge variety to choose from! I was able to sample a few and you honestly cannot go wrong. They also offer a seasoning mix called "olive oils best friend" that pairs so well with most of the olive oils. I will be back!
