Like: I always come here for the Dajaj Mishwi. This is my all time favorite dish. It includes charbroiled boneless, skinless chicken thighs marinated in spices, served with their house garlic sauce which is GREAT. If you love garlic, their hummus is delicious, which they serve with pita and a side of soup along with their Lunch Menu. An interesting Appetizer to order is the Zahrah, with is a cauliflower deep-fried and tapped with tahini sauce, green onions, raddish and fresh crushed mint. This is a cute little restaurant with not very much seating and gets fairly busy during the lunch hour. I've also had the Farmer's dish which is popular. It's marinated chicken wings served with their garlic sauce. It's somewhat sour but an interesting take on chicken wings. I still prefer the Dajaj Mishwi over this. Probably my favorite plcae for Mediterranean food. They also give extremely large portions so come hungry! read more

I have been going here for two decades, and that's saying something since I am only 25. I really, really love this place. Food The portions are enormous; I have yet to eat with anyone who leaves hungry. If you like garlic (who doesn't?) you will love this place. When you are seated they bring out a small bowl of lentil soup for everyone, which is OK, and pita bread with a garlicky oil dip. I usually order a glass of the Moroccan wine along with an order of Zahrah for the table (fried cauliflower with garlic sauce, $8). I don't even like cauliflower and I will fight anyone off for the last bite! My favorite entree is the Shish Tawook ($16), my Dad loves the Farmer's Chicken ($17), and my partner loves the Dajaj Mishwi ($15), which are all 3 pretty similar dishes of spiced chicken (lemon, garlic, herbs, etc.) on a bed of yellow rice with a delicious, super-garlicky sauce drizzled on top. The difference is mainly in the type of chicken--breast, wings, thighs. I love, love, love garlic so I always ask for some extra garlic sauce on mine--sooo good! Make sure you are eating with everyone you plan on hanging out with that night as your breath will not be pleasant after dinner. It is worth it though, trust me! You could probably get away with splitting an entree because of the seriously ginormous servings, but why deprive yourself of leftovers? I would not recommend the Chicken Noodle, as it is pretty bland. Atmosphere Don't be fooled by the strip mall exterior! Inside there are nice tablecloths and a cozy vibe. Still, it's maybe not the best "first date" kind of place, since you WILL smell like garlic after. Service Servers are friendly although sometimes they get busy and it takes a while to hear from them again. For the same reason, I would recommend getting reservations for a large party or coming a bit early on weekend night. read more

I love this place. Their shawarma's are amazing and portions are huge. I always go here for lunch and I can eat my leftover for dinner as well. So, imagine the portions. For such an amazing restaurant, its sure hard to find! The sign for the hair salon obscured it's location. It was a busy Saturday, but the waiters were attentive and made sure everyones glasses were always full. Had the lamb schwarma and it is amazing. Overall it felt like eating WARMED-UP FROZEN FOOD :( I do know how Middle Eastern food is supposed to be like. Some details: the veggies were (broccoli, green beans, onion, tomato, zucchini, carrots) overcooked and mushy, the cousous grains instead of being light and fluffy were too soft, overloaded with water and glued together. Chewy pieces of octopus. Just ok pieces of shrimps and fish. The taste was bland so I had to add some olive oil that was on the table to add flavor. NOTHING AUTHENTIC! Was visiting the city and my friends wanted to take me here. They told me it was their favorite Mediterranean place. We walked in right as it opened for dinner (4:30pm) and it's a cozy, dim lit, intimate restaurant. The sever came up to us immediately, we let him know we were ordering take out, and he handed us menus as well as gave us recommendations. He let us have a seat as we looked over the menus, and brought us soup as we waited, which I thought was a very nice touch. So in terms of customer service, this place did great. My friend and I ordered shish tawook and a lamb shawarma to split between the both of us. Honestly, we could have shared one, but it was just as good the next day when microwaved. The sauce on the shish tawook was amazing. The reason this doesn't get a 5 star review is because for the price I paid, the chicken and lamb was kinda dry. I would only dock that off half a star if I could, but I've paid less and gotten juicy chicken and lamb elsewhere. All in all, I would come back here to share a shish tawook with someone again if I were back in Seattle. read more

What can I say? Amazing hummus? Check. Amazing tabouleh? Check. Amazing Kafta? Check. Amazing lamb? Check. Amazing shish kabob? Check. Amazing shawarma? Check. Service was amazing. As soon as we walked in we received the warmest welcome, were seated right away and their friendly staff offered advice and help in terms of what to order. Soup, pita bread was immediately provided. We ordered an additional homemade hummus appetizer which was surprising, since hummus is usually complimentary. However, their serving size was very big and we got to take it home with us. Best garlicy food ever! The daily soup is always served with your meal and its real good! We always get the farmers meal, lemon garlic chicken with rice and humus, sharable for two. The kibby appetizer is a favorite too, little lamb meat pockets served on top of garlic yogurt is ideal for dipping your pita. Getting one meal and sharing between two is always enough food but they sometimes charge a split plate fee, depending on how friendly your waiter is. Note: if you get food to go they sometimes give you salad instead of soup with your meal and they will only give you one portion of soup/salad per entree, like one person is going to eat all that food?! read more

My husband and I went here for dinner tonight after reading all the great reviews. We had stopped in another time, but they were packed. We got lucky this time. We tried making reservations, but they only take them for large groups. The food is absolutely AMAZING! We had the falafel and the combination kabob platter to split. I love that they bring you lentil soup plus the pita and garlic dipping sauce right when you sit down even before ordering. Like you are coming in from a cold, winter day and mom has a cup of soup ready and warm for you - very welcoming. The kabob platter was ideal for two people and you get a good sampling of all the different meats plus some hummus on the side. I really, really loved the Shish Tawook. For dessert, we had the baklava and turkish coffee, which is absolutely indescribable. The waiter said it had rose water and cardamom in it. It was the perfect ending to the meal. However, I wouldn't recommend going here with a person on a first date. The food is very garlicy to the point that you can still taste it the next day and wouldn't be the best for a first kiss. Took my parents here last weekend and we had a blast. They've never tried Mediterranean food before, but they are rather picky eaters with good palates, so it's often hard to get them to like something new. Luckily, they LOVED it. Naturally, I was stupid and should have read the Yelp reviews before we headed out. If I'd done that, I would've known that the portions were monstrous. Don't get me wrong, we were happy to take all of it back in 6 gigantic containers, but our little table was possibly about to collapse from the food. One entree could probably feed 3 mildly hungry people or 2 very hungry people. They brought us complimentary flatbread that was hot and wonderful with a fabulously garlicky butter. We ordered baba ganouj as our appetizer, and it was good, but too much tahini and a little too acidic for me. It was hard to taste the eggplant. For our main courses, we ordered lamb with couscous, beef noodles, and beef shish kabob. They were all fabulous. The flavors were rich, the meat was succulent, and I LOVED the spiced couscous. Some people aren't a fan of cinnamon in savory dishes, but I am a HUGE fan. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and quick. And the prices are entirely reasonable for the (copious) amount of food in each portion. Overall, a great experience! read more

The portions are huge, they treat you like a king. Menu hasn't changed in years then again neither has what I usually order. Been going here for over a decade and still Dajaj Mishwhi with EXTRA GARLIC SAUCE. You can forget kissing anyone for a day or so after that. This is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I've been to. The flavors were spot on. I had the Dajaj Mashwi, chicken thighs with garlic sauce served over rice with hummus on the side. Decided to try Mediterranean Kitchen because of the rave reviews on Yelp. My husband and I entered the restaurant not really knowing what to expect, especially since we were planning to order to-go but didn't call ahead. After ordering our Chicken Shawarma to go, we were asked if we wanted to take a seat as we waited for the food. I appreciated that we were even given lentil soup and water as we waited for our one meal that we were planning to share (since everyone on Yelp kept saying the portions are huge!). I usually don't like lentil soup, but this one was really flavorful. Would recommend. Chicken shawarma was pretty standard; I loved it though because it was HUGE - definitely enough for two people (and some leftovers). This place certainly gives you bang for your buck.
