Short Rib special over mashed potatoes with onions and mushrooms.

Got a great table outside by the dam! Highly recommend if you like water views! Food was great, ordered the short rib special over mashed potatoes, perfectly done and tender. Also ordered a side of beer battered fries, very tasty. Service was super friendly and quick to take orders and bring drinks, looking forward to returning in the future!

    Trash just like this pub

Got seated at 12:45 first saw our waitress at 1 ordered our appetizers and drinks she came back no drinks at 1:10 we ordered our lunch and got no service we complained at 1:30 that we still did not receive drinks so the manager didn't care and tried to make an excuse so we left at 1:40 no drinks yet no food and extremely unsatisfactory... 10/10 would not recommend Service 0/10 Beer 0/10 Waitress 0/10 Wait 0/10 Hours 0/10 Sandwich 0/10 Owner 0/10 Server 0/10 Disappointed I even had to give this place 1 star

Avoid this place at all costs as the owner, (Eric D) is an absolute jerk and utterly rude to customers. My family and I showed up for 11:30 reservations and the owner promptly and rudely told us to shut the door and to social distance even though we had masks on and are a family. He also snapped at another couple behind us to shut the door to which I spoke up and said "lighten up please". The owner told me to step outside and I gladly did and told him he's losing customers. Don't go here, avoid it. Support small businesses, but not this place.

First, the good stuff: the food! I had no complaints about the pub burgers. The buns were nice and toasty, the fries were great. Now the less than good stuff: the service. We could immediately tell that our server was far less friendly to us than she was to the other tables. Maybe we looked too 'different', maybe we looked poor and she thought we wouldn't tip well. (We did, and regret it in hindsight). Also, I saw a server eating forkfuls off the plates on the line. I got a bad and adversarial vibe off everyone working there. The food wasn't good enough to make up for that. I won't be back.

The wings are EXCELLENT. Salt vinegar and maple chipotle are great. The club is a huge sandwich and the tacos are enough for two! Beer selection is terrific!

What a great experience! I couldn't be more happy with every aspect of the evening…read more The setting was fantastic, with a great view. Everything from the appetizers - stuffed day lilies, roasted brussel sprouts - to the main dishes - we had grilled swordfish and baked haddock - to the drinks - it was awesome. The dishes were well thought out, fantastic flavors, they were hot and with the right portions. We loved everything about the meal and the setting. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

My Wife and I went here for dinner and a show for our 45th wedding anniversary. The entire building…read moreneeded work, it was sad to see, dirty windows with bugs in them and if you had a screen in your window it was filled with cobwebs and dead bugs, kinda killed any ambiance of looking out over the lake. You could see that there was a lot of water damage to ceilings and walls that was only partially finished. The entrace / portico to the restaurant, especially the ceiling, was loaded with bug nests and mold. It needed a good pressure washing and fresh paint. The drink menu was fabulous, soo many combinations. The appetizers selection was very nice, we ordered the fried goat cheese with fig jam, it was very tasy. My Wife ordered the pork tenderloin, that was marinated in soy and ginger with sauteed fiddleheads and rice. This was a complete disaster, the pork medalions were so over cooked, as if they were pre cooked and warmed up. If these were cooked to order whomever cooked them should be ashamed. My Wife and I could these often and are always tender, juicy with a hint of pink. These had nothing in common to what we cook at home, not tender and not juicy, the soy ginger was not a marinade but more of a reduction and spooned over the medalions, the salt was so concentrated my Wife ate 2 and could not eat any more. The rice, just plain steamed rice, the fiddleheads were cooked well but had zero flavor, a pitty as they are a blank canvas. I ordered the seafood scampi, I was really looking forward to this as I don't have pasta very often and have not had lobster in a couple of years. The pasta was home made pappardelle, it was more than al dente and was stuck together in clumps. The sauce had little flavor, the scallops were so so, the shrimp were over cooked as was the lobster, we ordered a fruit pie for dessert at intermission, it was mostly crust and, oh the whipped topping, guess what that was........ cool whip . We spent over $160.00. It was a a one and done for us unfortunately. We really wanted it to be better than it was. It could be a really nice venue but needs a lot of work and a seasoned chef who cares about what they do and can direct a young untrained staff.
