It has been a minute since I have been in an Old Navy. I was in need of some underwear and I usually get it from here. I prefer the way they make theirs and they always seem to have some on clearance. Better pricing in my mind. Some styles stay on the shelves a bit longer and you can sometimes snag a pair or two for cheap. I was in luck as I found two pair that fit the bill. But I had to search for a while. Unlike other Old Navy locations this one did not have a dedicated section where all the clearance items were. Nor was it set up like a traditional store. I had to figure this out the hard way as other clearance items were scattered about. I did a real quick search but gave up after a while as I was not in the mood to be in this store for way too long. After about moving about to three sections I made my way to the register. Being early in the day there weren't many workers and the line went slowly. This took a bit longer than I expected. However, the staff that did ring up my items was very friendly. This was the first time I have ever heard this in an Old Navy, but the one item I purchased was a final sale, no returns. No markings or indications anywhere in the store that they did this. Is this new? read more

Visited the store at 3:15 today and went to try on a dress. Fitting room attendant simply ignored me I glanced down the hall to see if any rooms were opened as I was not acknowledged The attendant then snapped "mame there aren't any rooms open" I am not sure how I was supposed to know that as there was no greeting or information provided This woman is rude disrespectful and dismissive. I was at the Old Navy on Rockville Pike trying to find another & last minute bathing suit. After 10 minutes of searching & trying things on, I went to check out with what I had. The cashier was very nice & even asked his co-worker if he'd mind looking a little deeper for me...that was great customer service on both of their parts. Even though he came back empty handed, I appreciated the effort. Even the Clearance Items were not in a disarray like most places, so perhaps that's why it didn't' take long for the young man to return. To receive even more great customer service, the Cashier looked up to see if the closest Old Navy had the bathing suit I was looking for & look at that, Montgomery Mall (even though I just left from there & didn't think about popping in) had it. So I thanked everyone for their young & fly customer service & headed back to MM. As soon as I walked into to MM's Old Navy, I showed one of the salesperson what I was in need of, & within in minutes, I got what I came for. Everyone spoke, I got a few "Are you finding everything you need" & overall, it was a quick & great shopping experience. I also lucked up on some good coupons to use in the very near future, so I didn't mind back tracking. I picked up a few more items, headed home to the pool & was content with my shopping excursion, & especially the great customer service from both stores. read more

Around 12:50pm I received email confirmation Jacket ready for pick up. I arrived @ Old Navy about 3:30pm for picked up. I asked a sales associate "where to pickup online purchases?" She directed me to checkout. I went to the checkout line-it was long. Moments later she approached me, Saying: you brought online-you can go directly To the front counter. The sales associate then asked for my Photo ID She's get my jacket. I did so & watched her walk to front counter Pick up my bag scan/process it & bring it to me. I thanked her. I was on my way purchase in hand 10 minutes At most!!! Excellent Customer Service! Completely disgusted. Went in today to buy my daughter a warm weather wardrobe because she's about to go to Puerto Rico with her father for a week and outgrew everything from last year. The store was completely upside down. Every rack and table looked like a hurricane had blown through while two employees were leaned up in front by the jewelry section discussing who they liked to date. (Loudly ). I did the best I could to look through the mess for my daughters sizes and then when we got to the dressing room no one was attending. Walked up front with arm load of clothes to the only person who was actually working - the cashier. Asked for assistance in the dressing room and she swiftly spoke into her attached microphone and asked someone to meet us at the dressing room. Bothered and annoyed employee who showed up 10 minutes later at dressing room told my daughter just to pick any room and then walked off. Ok but every room was loaded with other people's try ons. Every room! She finally squeezed her things into the least full dressing room and tried on the best she could. After that and all the rummaging we had to do with no help from an employee ( mind you I needed 7 complete outfits. Daywear, nightwear, swimwear, pajamas , socks, beach bags, flip flops etc...) we were too disgusted to even look further. We got in line and again the only "working" employee the cashier rang us up quickly and was so sweet. Had she been on the floor I Can guarantee we would have spent more than 117$! Just hard to do when the feel of the store is an unorganized yardsale ! I'm leaving this one star only for the cashier who was the saving Grace before we walked out. I doubt we will return. Basically everything about this location is a hit or miss, including both the attitude of the staff and the variations of products. The variety is not as good as other Old Navy locations I have been too. It's just frustrating when I would only need one item and it is not in the store. And, no, kind Sellebrity (that's what they are called per their name tags), I do not want to drive to another location to get my leggings. I've also noticed that oldnavy.com does not have an accurate depiction of items in-stock. For example, per the site, this location did not have any cargo shorts for men, but there were plenty in the store. This location should just close. They are complete trash from the staff to the store appearance. Complete unpleasant attitude and this is consistent for every single visit. The location is smarter and you would think that would help with organization but no. Things are always out of place and in the wrong spot, never ring the price appearing on the section and then when brought to cashier attention constantly told " sorry it was in the wrong place " or " its only the tops on the top shelf ". I used to live old navy but now days I would much rather give my money to boohoo and shein at least they honor the prices marketed. "Old Navy, Old Navy, Old Navy Performance Fleece!" - I almost always get this stupid jingle stuck in my head when I walk into an Old Navy. Of course it's been years (like 10 years) since I bought a performance fleece at Old Navy and I definitely didn't buy one over the weekend...but I am often reminded of this song when I walk through their doors. Old Navy is where I buy the basics. Tees and tanks - this is the place! This particular weekend, they were on sale for $8 a pop so I took this opportunity to load up on the "end of summer" stuff. I'm also a sucker for anything argyle so of course I had to buy the grey/white argyle cardigan whether it was on sale or not. (It was not). The sales guy at the register was pretty personable and funny. We had a conversation about tank tops while I waited for my roommate to make her way to the front. read more

Looking for maternity clothes? Don't come here!! Old Navy's website says this location carries maternity clothes. Wasn't I surprised to find that the "maternity section" = 2 little racks, 1 tiny shelf. Pitiful. Sorry I made the drive out here for this! Sad. read more

I'm not a fan of this Old Navy. It's not very big. The clothes are always in heaps and a mess despite the amount of employees they have working there and something about this store just feels like it isn't cleaned much. You can never really find anyone to help you, and if they do you often get a "I don't know" or "if we have any it may be over there" and they point to some vague direction. Also, half of the dressing rooms are awkwardly placed around the store with a shower curtain-like design. The curtain goes down low so I wouldn't be surprised if people get walked in on. Also, for some reason all of the clothes just dot seem that attractive by the way they're displayed. Despite all this there are always long lines. The only perk is that there are good prices, but the quality isn't meant to last. You definitely get what you pay for here. read more

Old Navy's a pretty good clothing store. Then again I'm not a clothing snob, so anything that's well-priced and durable will fly well with me. I actually prefer Gap, but Old Navy is more wallet-friendly. The store isn't very big, and the men's selection seemed to be lacking in my size. In fact there wasn't much of an abundance of ANY size. I figure it might owe to the fact that there was a store-wide 30% discount (very nice), but whatever. The clothes I bought are pretty good looking, and in the past the clothes from Old Navy that I've had hold up well for a while. For casual men's clothing, Old Navy is a good budget-friendly choice. I wouldn't come here for "dress to impress" clothes (forgive me for using that phrase). In addition to the shortage of clothes in my size, there was also a shortage of employees. Only a few registers were open and not a single employee seemed to be on the floor looking for confused customers. I also couldn't find a changing room, although I'm sure they have one. I was shopping online for Christmas pajamas and a pair of pants were listed as out of stock at the store. I called the store, they in fact did have a pair left in stock. I asked that they hold it for me, the associate confirmed they could hold it until the end of the next day. When I arrived at the store the following day, the item was no longer on hold and was now not available in the store (they sold them to someone else). I found a replacement pair and bought 2 pairs in 2 different sizes, advising that I would be returning the one that didn't fit. I purchased these items on 12/13/22 for Christmas. I attempted to return 1 of the pairs today, 1/23/23 and was told too much time had passed because they have a 30 day return policy and extended holiday purchases until 1/15 (thanks for the extra 2 days). They refused to even give me store credit. A 30 day return policy is outrageous, Target gives 365 days on most items and Kohl's gives 180. Old Navy needs to review this policy and make some improvements. Your employees are careless and your policies are inconsiderate. read more

Very disorganized and mixed quality but good place for basics like t-shirts, jeans for son, athletic wear, and cardigans. Every once in awhile you can find a cute product for a steal. I got a casual dress for $15 and it looks and feels high quality. read more

4 stars for the fact that I *could* have gotten my little nephew an adorable polo shirt for five bucks, 1 star for the fact that on 10:15am on a Saturday morning when they had all sorts of goodies on sale, there were only two people working registers and a line of about 15 customers. So, I put the polo down and walked out. On other occasions I've also had problems with service here, for example, having to hunt someone down to unlock a dressing room. read more

I called in the morning looking for 2 black tanks and spoke to Laura or Lauren (manager) and she told me that she would put them on hold for me, well when i got there they called her in the back and she told the other lady helping me that she did not pull them so at that point i was extremely upset so i went to look for the tops and 2 pairs of jeans my self. Well, it's cheap. I'll definitely give it that. It's good for trendy pieces that you'll only wear one season, or for clothes you know you'll probably destroy (I wear a lot of Old Navy stuff when I'm doing load-ins and stuff, cause when the pants were like $10, you don't really care so much what happens to them). Occasionally you'll find an actual find in there (I, for example, have a navy blue Henley hoodie that I'm so all about). But this store is a classic example of getting what you pay for. Not only was the store a complete disaster, but the employees seemed to want all customers out of the store as soon as possible. 20 minutes before the store was closing, they turned off the music, put down the latter to close off entrance and half of the employees left the front cash register. There were about 10 people in line and 2 cashiers, but clearly more employees elsewhere. Won't see me going back to this location. read more

The employees don't know where anything is. I did start the search on my own for the womens boyfriend cardigan and explored every area of the store. When I asked where the boyfriend cardigans are to three different employees, one had me walk in circles following him while saying it was his first day so he was looking for it, the second took me to a display that didn't have it, the third led me to a table of jeans saying "it's hiding in there" and then walked away. read more

I love the clothes at Old Navy so this review is about this store alone. There was a line with at least ten customers waiting to be checked out at the register and there were only two registers open. The line kept growing and we waited forever before a third employee came to help. On the weekend there really should more help up in the front helping check customers out. The store is a mess. I was hoping to get maternity jeans, but I gave up trying to find my size after sifting though a pile. Picked up pajama pants in the clearance section that were behind random racks of clothes all over only to find out when I finally went to the register that they were all full price. This after the cashier kept trying to figure out if I *really for sure* had an Old Navy credit card. I have one from a long time ago, let's move on.
