I've been here a handful of times on my way down to Monterey County. I love this stand alone Old Navy because of its wide selection and spacious interior. It also is a major plus that there is a Home Goods next door! I recently went to pick up a online order through contactless curbside. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to park in their designated spot, click online in the confirmation email that I was there, and that minutes later a staff member cane out with my bag! It was so quick and easy! The staff member asked for ID and placed it in my vehicle and was wearing a mask. I was so happy with it and they got my order right. I visited Gilroy (Renz) Old Navy on 7/23/20 at about 4:00pm. I had a lot of online clothing that I needed to return. I wish I had the name of the nice woman that helped me. I had clothing from 3 different orders and she very patiently found all my orders (I didn't have my receipts - I only had 1 email for 1 of the orders) and I was refunded all of my money for the items. She even gave me a coupon for "my trouble." I appreciated her kindness, patience and time. She was GREAT! read more

When I first heard that Old Navy was coming to Gilroy, I thought someone was spreading an evil evil lie. Old Navy... in GILROY???? Were all my wishes about to come true? I verified this fact and was SO ecstatic, that I actually went and got myself a job there! That's right folks, I was officially an employee at Old Navy. Ok, so you get how much I love this store. Cheap clothes, decent quality, LOW prices. Why pay top dollar for all that trendy stuff when you will only be able to wear it 2 or 3 times before it goes out of style? Needless to say, Love the store, clothes, and employees. This was such an awesome job. I loved coming to work. Whenever I come here, I always leave with something. This feels more like an outlet store than an actual Old Navy. I asked for maternity jeans and the (very friendly) woman told me that if there were any, they would be in clearance from online returns, since there was no maternity section. And the clearance section was huge. So that being said, there were good prices. But the selection, of course, was unorganized and pretty limited. I was impressed by the customer service though, as the young woman did ask my size and walk with me to the clearance section and help me weed out what I was looking for. If you're looking for an Old Navy like you would find at a mall or city, this isn't it. Looking for a deal and got some time to sift through? Pretty good. read more

I had a terrible experience with old navy with ordering some items and having it be sent to the wrong address. I was not able to receive my money back though my items went to someone else. Old navy online was the worst experience I have ever had trying to make a purchase. I had to pay for the same items 3 times and in the end only got half my order and hundreds of dollars on hold for a week. Customer service kept making false promises they couldn't deliver. I love Old Navy but this location is AWFUL! Staff is totally rude. The checker was dressed like a prostitute, covered in tattoos, and had the WORST attitude. Nice store. Everything is pretty organized including the clearance area. I frequent this particular store often and usually end up buying lots of stuff here since there are such good deals and a good selection of merchandise. Workers are pretty nice as well. I love this old Navy and the staff. They have always been courteous and helpful. Just called this morning to ask about bathing suits for my daughter. Not only did the lady answering the phone tell me they have some, she offered to run over and check on price point for me which in the end fit nicely into my budget. Worst customer service ever! The staff here is incredibly rude. Don't come here if your looking for service. Picked up a few items from the clearance section once I got to the counter none of them were on clearance and the cashier had the nerve to hit me with a attitude asking me if I wanted them or not? What she should have done was honor the price like we use too when I use to work there! Called the manager and took a survey. The manager didn't offer to add a discount or anything and I could tell she really didn't even care great job with making me a happy customer. Theresa shouldn't be working in the front end as a cashier and Susanna shouldn't be a manager! Try making your customers happy for once! read more

I'm not one to complain but this had to be the worst experience I have ever had in any Old Navy. I shop at Old Navy all the time normally in Marina or Salinas not just for the deals but the customer service, it is always wonderful no complaints. However the Gilroy store was a completely different experience. I had been there once before a couple of years ago and found the staff to be very rude and today nothing has changed. I drove 25 miles to buy a pair of boots because they were the only store that had them in my size. I had also decided to make a return since I was there and I didn't have my receipt, which is very unusual. The girl waiting on me immediately gave me the impression that I was inconveniencing her and then she called her manager over about the return, the manager in a very condescending tone informed me that she would make the exception this time and do the return. She let me know she was doing me a "big favor". After that transaction I purchased a shirt and tried to apply a discount card that i received from an old navy store manager that is good in any store at any time and can be reused. I was asked who gave me the discount and when I told her who it was she fell just short of calling me a liar. I wasn't making the purchase I was suddenly being interrogated and I told her just to forget the discount it wasn't worth it. I use this discount all the time and every other Old Navy I've been in and I never have an issue. Oddly enough this is that what they were rude to me about the first time I went in there a few years ago . I shop at Old Navy at least 3 to 5 times a month and always found the staff to be helpful professional and extremely nice with the exception of Gilroy there 2 for 2. This is by far the worst experience I've had at Old Navy or any other store for that matter and the first time I let it go but the second time I'm not about to. They are a very bad representation normally receive very good service from. I am a manager as well and I can tell you that you never ever challenge a customer speak to them so rudely and actually embarrass someone in front of other customers, I'm appalled, and furious!!!! I will never step foot in that store there's such a horrible representation of what is normally personable friendly service. read more

Customer service here really lacks attention. Discounts are not done properly and management has no clue of what's going on with their cashiers. We have Been to this store several times and every time it's a hassle when you get to the cashier. Huge lines. Management needs to be fired and replaced along with all the cashiers and better people with an understanding of customer service in a real way business should be ran should be put in place. Save your money and spend it elsewhere but not at this Old Navy store in Gilroy. Take the extra time and drive to Stevens creek in San Jose, where customer service is outstanding. read more

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE OLD NAVY. I just do not like this store. I had $30 in bonus cash, so I decided to drive to Gilroy, since it is such a huge location. Big sweater sale going on right now. Sadly, their stock is very lacking. I only found 2 kinds of sweaters for women. And not 2 GOOD kinds. The variety of choices for women is really lacking. The Oakridge Old Navy is much smaller, but has so much more merchandise. The staff at the Gilroy store was great, they were all very nice. But there was no customers in the store, maybe because there was no merchandise. I will not waste the 50 mile round trip again just to go to this store. Old Navy, put more merchandise in this store or you will have to close it. read more
