So it's a really big bummer to have to stand and wait in long lines, when you are older and have aches and pains! I would like for once, to walk into the store and there be a miracle that there is more than just one person working the register!!! But it hasn't happened yet!! and no, I will not use the self check out, I'm not an employee. I believe they're hoping that people just use self check out so that they don't have to hire more employees, but it's not gonna happen with me. Either way KUDOS to Adrianna she is an incredible employee and a true asset to Ross. She seems to really enjoy serving the customers and is always smiling, it's really too bad that no one comes out and helps her on another register. Sure, it gets wild as most Walmart stores do, but this one is a go-to! It's big, it has all the grocery items I need and it has a Wetzel's Pretzels now! Hell yes! I like the sports merch section here, they surprisingly have excellent Angels gear! I came in to get some grad gifts and cards and I found everything I needed quickly! I bought a large Squishmallow for a reasonable price along with wrapping paper, bags, and a hot dog all for less than $40 bucks! I know, you can still save money here! The store gets busy and lines can pile up but the staff seem more proactive now as this one guy was so helpful and immediately opened up another lane when he saw crowd congestion! Bravo! The bakery was good, we got a cake for our grad, the gentleman behind the counter was nice. The cake tasted good too! This Walmart has the usual amenities, an auto center, eye specialists, McDonald's and a hair salon! Chris and Crystal went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of even though I was three minutes past the closure time. They were happy, very welcoming, and extremely accommodating when they didn't have to be. He even came out to my car to help me bring the two bags in. Every time I come to this location, the employees are wonderful. This is the true example of customer service just to help someone out! These pictures were taken on a Saturday and the attendance here was abysmal. Hemet Valley Mall is a reminder of how city officials have failed the citizens of this town and refuse to bring in and support new businesses. The city said they would put a second story, never happened. They also said they'd build a new iteration of this mall a couple miles away, never happened. Here we are years later and nothing has improved nor happened. It's a damn shame that this mall was remodeled as some of the last surviving businesses NEED support but the city is not given these hard workers the time of day. The main businesses that are popping are Hobby Lobby, Magic Brow, Hot Topic, and JCPenney, that's it. Yes, not even Claire's is bringing people in. Years ago, when people still had hope in expanding or getting a "new mall" this mall was pretty busy... not anymore. It's depressing coming in here and the fact that malls are on their way out in certain parts of America, doesn't help this awful situation. I will never totally hate on this mall as I've had good times during community college here and it's super clean. The restrooms here are a lifesaver! If you're in Hemet I will not discourage coming as there's businesses to be supported. However, I want to be honest with you about the current climate of this mall.
