Great selection of everything just the video games lack variety probably due to the fact hemet is more of a retirement senior community so I'm not complaining about the video game selection but I suggest maybe you can stock better items in the video game aisle that remains mainly empty But every target I have been too in California is modestly busy however this location is different in some ways 1. very wheelchair accessible since you won't get crowded here 2. There's no music playing in this store yet that makes this target have a retro feeling when I was a kid in the pre 2010s target stores didn't do that till nearly 2020s 3. Pizza Hut express is here and awesome 4. Starbucks as well 5. This target has a Bigger book selection 6. I don't get what's happened to target. It used to be the place to go and shop. I'm sure Amazon and Walmart have taken a chunk of their profits. When I visit the Hemet store you can see that this store is starting to fail. It's old and dirty. Don't believe me, take a look at the bathroom the store in general and even the concrete on the exterior. It reminds me of what Kmart looked like before they failed. Other Target stores I've gone to in other cities have been remodeled with nice displays and lighting. If they continue to ignore this store in Hemet, it too will fail. Did I mentioned all shelves are fully stocked? Yes, that's important! My wife and I actually got a few things, while actually not shopping! Hey, who doesn't like AC environment in hot weather?.. I never write reviews but I'm so irritated that I had to. I was shopping here around 4pm on 6/13 and the two girls that were working in the fitting rooms should be ashamed of themselves. When I first walked over to the rooms they were standing in the middle of the walkway loudly talking about their personal lives and how much they hate their job. I had to squeeze by them and neither of them made an effort to move out of the way or greet me...the one girl did say "it's only 5 items" to me as I walked by (I had 7) I said oh ok where can I put these other things and the she looked at me like it was a dumb question and said "over there" and waved at the counter. Seemed like they were annoyed that I interrupted their conversation. I brushed it off because people have bad days. As I was trying on clothes all the way in the last stall (because all the other stalls were taken) I could hear these employees entire conversation and they were cursing very loudly which I found so disrespectful especially considering there was a mother with her young children in the stalls right next to them. They were saying things like "why are there so many people here, why is everyone at target, what's so great about target, I f*cking hate it here, I just want to go home already". The thing that really made me upset though is that I exited the stall to grab my other items I wanted to try on, and when I went to head back to the stall I had been in, as I was about to walk in the one girl was opening the door of the one next to me and I noticed her staring at me with a MAJOR stink face. I looked at her and she said "do you want to use one of the ones I just opened at the front" with a HORRIBLE attitude like I was the dumbest person alive for going into the last stall when there were ones up front....sorry I didn't realize that everyone had left and those stalls were now open, I just thought I'd go back to the one I'd previously been in. I was thrown off by her attitude so I kinda gave her a look back and just said "oh ok sure". The minute I shut the door of the new stall she says to her coworker "i just want to go home I can't stand these people" very clearly annoyed with how I had responded to her attitude. I ended up just leaving even though I wanted to keep looking for things but I just didn't want to go back there and hear what they were saying. I was with my sister (who is way more laid back than me) and she also said that when she was in the rooms before me she heard them throwing f bombs around and complaining about customers. She said a customer walked up and asked them to open a case for him and the one girl said "can you find someone else to do it" and when he walked away she said "why is everyone asking us to do things". These girls could not have been much older than myself....way to young to be so angry at the world. It's very upsetting to feel like you're an inconvenience to workers when you're literally not even doing anything. I spent almost $200 and felt like I should've just gone to Walmart instead of spending all that money to be treated like a nuisance. I didn't catch the girls names but the one was a younger black girl with long braids and the other was a younger white girl with brown hair who was talking about being in nursing school....I feel bad for her future patients. read more

I've been trying to get a hold of a manager for a couple weeks now. With no success. I'm unsure if it is a manager issue or if it's an employee issue. But every time I come for a pick up order, they ask for my code first and complete the delivery according to the app before I ever receive the items. All while I sit there anywhere from 10 and the longest being up to 40 minutes to get my items. Twice I've had to walk into the store to ask for my items. My question is.... are the managers forcing the employees to get the codes immediately so it looks like they're doing very quick deliveries? Or are the employees doing it so they don't get in trouble for taking forever. This could also be a question of short staffed. Would be nice to be able to contact someone. There has been an average of about a 50-50 shot that I receive my items plus someone else's items or I don't receive all my items. Which then target has to send them to me free to fix the issue. They are losing money on this way of doing business. It is up to them if they want to keep running things this way. read more

While the on-line shopping was stressful, as I changed my items, couldn't get back to the original cart, ordered amount over my e-gift card thinking I could pay the .86 cent in cash-then couldn't get back into my cart. I took me over an hour to finally pay the purchase with my personal credit card. When I got to Target pick-up area I stopped an employee and told her I couldn't/didn't know how to open my Target app., who I now know named Katie. She suggested I go inside. I went inside while standing in line Katie approached me and typed in my order number and proceeded to go get my items. I was so happy to finally get things done, but when I went to my car I thought I had ordered girl's socks and went back in spoke to Katie again and she said they probably couldn't find the girl's socks I had ordered. ADORABLE MERCH & GREAT SELF CHECK-OUT SERVICE! My recent visit to Target today came with profound astonishment and joy. This location recently added plenty of cute Nintendo merch! I'm coming back for the adorable little Kirby x Link plush! Also, I spotted plenty of Pokémon plushies and games. I was helping my grandma find gifts for a Grad party and we had plenty to choose from! The store felt like they had a fresh stock of new items overall. The grocery section had a few more plant based items, which I was really happy about. Also, the self check-out attendant was sooooo wonderful, she was very helpful and sweet! Overall, this experience was much better than the last. I still wouldn't recommend buying groceries here as the prices are too high. However, I was able to find SOME deals. read more

I'm DONE with Target. LONG COVID LINES... These companies, apparently especially Target, found they can squeak by with only one or two cashiers is normal - trying to continue with 'COVID staffing'. Oh WOW, this is going to work really well through the Christmas season just like it does normally. Apparently, the management [here] is so incompetent they can't even change the batteries and the transmitters throughout the pharmacy department. None of the transmitters work and you just stand there like an damned idiot, waiting, for some jerk-off that's not going to come. All of them are dead. I almost went over to the hardware department my own self broke to open a package of batteries and put them in after watching an 85 year-old waiting in vain. The ENTIRE STORE is running on automatic as it is apparent if there is someone there, they sure as hell don't give a damn. Bottom line, the PULSE of customer service is how many butts are behind registers. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. Hate to say because I'm not a huge fan of Walmart either, but GO TO Walmart down the street! OK, so where can I start me and my wife show up around 3pm to pick up her prescription They. Make us wait 45 minutes to tell us that they're not gonna have it ready for a couple hours. Then, around Six, Forty Five, my Wife receives a text message that her prescription is ready. I live down the street from the store. Took me 5 to 6 minutes to get there. When I arrive, it was about 6:55pm after clearly looking at me and shutting the gate right in front of me. Without asking questions. I let the pharmacist know I was here to pick up a prescription because my wife just got oral surgery and needed her meds. ALEX.T Felt the need to let me know. She clocked out a few minutes early and did not want to give me the prescription because they close at seven. This made absolutely no sense to me. I had let her know about the situation earlier on how we came and they made us wait. About an hour to tell us. It's gonna take a few hours to get it ready. Very confusing. My wife is not happy at all. Now. She has to sleep with pain until tomorrow when they open . I am new to the area and I have never experienced bad customer service at any Target. They had three people including the customer service employee work on drive up orders. I had to wait ten minutes for one employee to process my return. They called for back up and no one came. There were five people behind me and we all had to wait for the one worker to do everything. As my return was being process the return barcode worked but the item scan didn't , so I had to look for the SKU code and that took an extra five minutes. read more

I'd really reconsider this target by all means, i believe this target gives target the worst label. The selection is very minimal, the theft is insane in the area but at least have the items for availability. The value of their brand is becoming worth it the up&up is very popular in the area from baby diapers to baby formulas, baby soap, men's soap, woman's soap. The service here is totally insane from self checkout having the 1988 technology and four machines 9/10 . The service from employees is horrible they have some good employees but the worst attitudes. My message is for Kelly -- I was told that she is the General Manager at the Hemet Target: I was in Target Wednesday March 20 and got to the checkout stand at about 8:30pm. I always check my receipt before leaving the store because 5 time out of 10 Target scanner double charges me for something. This time I was overcharged for an item that had been marked down. The cashier called a coworker over and she confirmed that I was due a refund -- she said I had to go to guest services to get the refund. No problem, I thought, that's what I usually do. I went to guest services and got in line behind a guy who looked kind of lost. There was no one behind the counter. I asked if someone was waiting on him and he said "no." We both waited a few minutes, thinking the guest services person must be in the back momentarily. After about 5 minutes, a young gal walked behind the counter area, but she did not greet us. She went in the back and came out a minute later. As she was walking away from us I asked, "Is there anyone working guest services?" She kept walking but yelled back to me, " Yeah, but they are out doing car runs." We waited a few more minutes. The store was not busy, in fact, I was amazed that TWO completely free lanes were open when I checked out. There was no one in the self check-out area, but there was a employee changing the tape on one of the machines. I explained the problem to her. She said, "Yeah, they are doing car runs. You just have to wait." Ooookay . . . I went back to the cashier who had inadvertently overcharged me. (Not her fault.) She actually got huffy with me when I told her I'd been waiting at the guest service counter for about 10 minutes and there was no one there. I asked if she could please call a manager. At that point she followed me over to the guest desk and by then a sullen looking gal was finally helping the guy who had been in front of me. When I stepped up, I told her I needed a refund and that I would also like to speak to the Manager. At this point, my original cashier said, "I'm trying to get someone! Geez!" She was on the phone, and I could hear as she spoke to several people and was told to call someone else. Wow! At this point, the sullen guest services girl is telling me that the price on the item is correct. I explained to her that another Target employee looked the item up on her special Target phone and actually showed me the discounted price. Sullen girl goes back to tapping her phone again. Finally, without so much as an "oh! sorry, I was looking at the wrong item" she completes my refund. In the meantime, cashier is still trying to get a Manager to respond. I say to both of them, "I have waited well about 30 minutes to get the refund Target owed me. Please, just give me the Manager's name and I will call her or send corporate a message. This is an unacceptable way to schedule employees." Both of them looked at me like I had two heads. Cashier gal walked away in a snit saying, "I'm trying! this is not my fault!" (I never said it was.) I wanted to speak to a Manager so they would know what happened and take steps to improve for the next customer. It's already annoying to have to wait for your refund instead of just getting it from the cashier. But, to wait at the guest desk for 15-20 minutes with no one there is ridiculous. Either the schedule needs to be tweaked so there is more coverage --OR-- someone was doing something they should not have been doing. Finally, a group leader named Emily came to talk to me. Emily smiled a lot. That's nice. As soon as I finished explaining what happened, Emily said, "The guest services person was out doing car runs -- that's why she wasn't at the guest services counter." OMG, Kelly -- I now want to let you know you have MORE than a scheduling problem. How can a group leader think it's acceptable for the ONLY person covering the guest desk to be absent for 15 minutes? How can a team leader think it's okay to give that as an excuse to a customer? I would love to finish with "I will never shop at Target again" -- but that's not true. I do want to think that upper management actually knows there will be times when a guest has an experience that can be turned into a training encounter for your employees. I asked 3 employees for the name of the General Manager. Each said "Kelly" but none would give me (or didn't know) your last name. Even though Emily smiled and was sweet, I did not get the impression that she was going to share my experience with you. I hope you see this. I hope you are vested in training the young people who work for you to be better stewards of their store. I'm not seeing you getting many good reviews here, so I won't hold my breath. read more

Horrible customer service. 13 lanes and only to have 3 open makes no sense when the lines are backed up into the clothes racks. The employees walk around looking confused when you ask for help. All while the "employees" walk around talking about what they're doing on the weekend. A 5 min target run turned into 30 mins of waiting. Incompetent workers is why this target is turning into Walmart. The carts are full of trash and half eaten food and the employees just look at them and walk away when you bring it to their attention. I have used the same checking account number for more than 10 years. The 4th person that I talked to at Customer Service said they didn't have my checking account number. Today I went to Target to buy hair color, it's about 10:30am, but couldn't find any cashier for check out, only a long line for self-checkout with one woman worked there. I don't know how to use the electric coupon in my cell phone, asked the woman, she just said, "scan it", and walk away. I tried again but it didn't work. The Target app in my cell phone was asking for signing, but I can't remember the password. I must ask for help again. The woman started yelling at me, "you must verify the money is yours, so you need to be signing". I explained to her, I had used the electric coupon before, just show the cell phone to the cashier, never asking for password. But the woman just kept yelling " you need to verify the money is yours...". I told her " I don't want to argue with you" and left the store without buying anything. read more

Upon arrival the greeter had carts lined up and sanitized for us to use. ( She had 4 carts ready and as soon as one was taken she quickly cleaned the next to make sure nobody was waiting). My toddler is entering the terrible 2's. So getting him to sit in the cart was being a hassle. The greeter saw me trying to get him to sit while he was doing those toddler moves that makes it impossible to sit them down . She walked over with a smile ( you could tell with how she was speaking ) and offerred to help and gave my kiddo stickers. She was AMAZING. That allowed me to shop almost an hour. No melt downs or anything. Wish I got her name. The store was cleaned, clothes were sized correctly. End caps were stocked and even seen team members replinshing items while still maintaining distance from customers. Overall this target run was AMAZING!!! read more

I've loved this target and been coming here since we moved in 2017. I just had a bad experience with one of the cashiers. Her name is Jae (white, tall, blonde). We were at the beauty isles and saw that if you spend $20 you can get a free sanitizer. My mom was thrilled like sure I guess spend more money (we originally just got a 6.99 item). So we got more items worth $25. We got to the cashier and told her about it. She said it didn't come up, I said okay it was in the beauty isle area. She said I usually have to have the sanitizer with me for them to scan I said okay i'll look for it, nothing there, so I went back and told her. AND BOII SHE HAD A BIG ATTITUDE. I get it she's tired, the end of the shift. I get it I was a cashier too. But you can see it in her body actions, her grunts, rolling eyes, talking to the next customer about us when the next customer were already pissed. Like im sorry you didn't know about the promotion which you should regarding you are a cashier ‍ so they just talked shit about us infront of me and my mom. I didnt wanna say anything cos fuck we were just trying to buy our stuff. The manager ended up giving us the sanitizer even tho we were already ready to just not buy the beauty products. (We legit bought the beauty products just to get a free sani). THEEN she separated our transaction im not sure why and when she tried to put them together she couldn't. So we ended up paying for 2 separate transactions with it's own taxes. And we left and checked out items like a human being and they continued to talk about us. We stayed by the cashier so we heard. If you're working as a customer service, you have to have patience! Inwould have understood if we giving you attitude and yelling or somethinG BUT WE WERENT! You should be patient and know what you need to know that's going on in your store!! I couldnt record it but the body action was just unnecessary and the grunts and the eye rolling?! Really?? For a minute there I was really starting to worry about the customer service people were receiving at the Hemet Target. This was around the Holidays and it was looking pretty bad. It didn't keep me away, but it did lessen my need to go in there... There were a few regular morning shift cashiers that were straight up RUDE. However, I am happy to report that the last 17 times I have gone into target this month, I've had excellent service. There are a few cashiers there who are just phenomenal at what they do. My receipts don't have names on them or I'd give them some kudos - for sure! Next time we go in (which I'm sure will be very soon) I'll be sure to try and get the names because these gals are serious ROCKSTARS! The kaiser clinic is also pretty nice. The receptionist I had in August was not the kindest, but the physician who helped me was amazing. I ended up needing to be wheeled out by AMR and that was a whole new ball game. The physician potentially saved my life with nitrates. I still think about going back and thanking her to this day. Pharmacy staff is phenomenal. Very good at what they do. read more
