She said there was nothing that she could do. We bought a lot of items. Then she tells me that they are a no-bag store. So we had to manage carrying all of our items out to the car. I know none of these things are her fault. This is how the store has set itself up. This was not good customer service, as basically, I was told tough cookies. My experience with Lands' End is that the clothing is high quality and lasts a long time. The store is located a few doors down from Whole Foods on Park Ln so it is very convenient. The store is compact which means it is not enormous like Macy's at NorthPark for example. It seems that most of the items available are for women. Maybe that is normal, I don't know since I am not a big shopper. I did see a men's section but did not really look in depth since I was not looking for anything for me. I give it four stars because although we ended up not buying the thing we wanted, we were able to find someone to help us and he was informed and knowledgeable. Parking is easy.

However, I really needed bras and decided to give them a second chance today. When I walked in, again no greeting! I made eye contact with one of the employees (different employee than yesterday) several times, but still nothing. I decided to look around as they were having a spectacular sale and I couldn't let an unwelcome attitude stop me from getting what I needed. While browsing, I came across another employee (manager ) and still no greeting. I was still determined to get what I came in for. After a while, I felt like I could spend my money elsewhere (where I feel welcomed) and was headed out the door when the manager approached me and asked if I needed help? This may sound like I'm being a diva, but this basic customer service. Greet your customers and make them feel welcome! After expressing my experience and frustrations to the manager, she went out of her way to make today's experience a pleasant one. I truly appreciate it and was able to find some great items at a wonderful price. I even got shoes for $8. I'm glad my experience was turned around and I plan to return again soon.
