I think they're the best designed, best merchandised and most shoppable apparel store in the mall (compared to American Eagle, H&M & Old Navy). Also very clean, the salespeople are always accessible (without hovering) and are always behaving professionally. As for the corporate pricing decisions... that's another matter. $108 for a paper-thin vest with no closable pockets? I think somebody's been hitting that legal weed a little too hard! Even at 50% off during Boxing Week, that's too much. Competitors had basically same product (with an inside pocket!) in the $29-$40 range and a Joe Fresh is $24.99. This is a $30 item and no amount of "branding" will sell it to me for more. There are other examples of such pricing. They don't have a ton of sales in their regular stores but I went in anyways. They have a super cute "Beaver Canoe" line right now. There are sweatshirts with and without hoods, and in a lot of colours. They even have a beaver plushie in matching hoodie. You know I had to get one of these. All of the staff were really helpful on this shopping experience. I wanted to try on my new threads so they helped me with a change room, then helped me unlock the changeroom when I accidentally locked myself out. They also weren't pushy which made for a comfortable shopping experience.
