I visited this store a few weeks ago and had one of the worst customer service experiences I have…read moreever encountered. I asked an employee if she could help me find the dress that was displayed on a mannequin in my size, as I had been unable to locate it on the sales floor. She told me that she needed permission to remove the dress from the mannequin and asked me to wait nearby. After waiting quite a while, I noticed another employee taking the dress off the mannequin while assisting two other customers. I approached her and explained that I had been waiting for that dress and had been told to stay nearby while the first employee got permission. She dismissed my concern, stated that no one had informed her, and proceeded to give the dress to the other customers. A short time later, I found the employee who was supposed to be helping me. She admitted that she had forgotten about me. When I tried to discuss the situation with both employees, they threatened to call security because, according to them, I was "making them uncomfortable." At that point, I left the store. It was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. I understand that this is a large retailer and that my review may not make a difference, but customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. The employees involved could have handled this situation much more professionally.

Recently shopped the store. We were in the store for almost 90 minutes. For the first hour only one…read moreperson was there and he was behind the counter literally ignoring people (no greeting or acknowledgment) and hiding behind a giant black mask and hair. Finally another person arrived and helped us run sizes to the dressing area. But only when we sought him out. He was not attentive and no greeting. But during checkout it became disturbing because the guy behind the counter was downright creepy. I've attached a picture because a description just doesn't cut it. We couldn't understand a thing he was saying he would not speak up he was mumbling and his mask was so thick and large and his hair was hanging down you could not see his face at all. I think the company can do better with Representatives or tell this guy he needs to lighten up on his look at work. What was really an issue was the fact that you could not understand him or see his face. I'm not trying to pick on anybody for how they choose to look but when you're representing a store and you're behind the counter like this with your eyes hiding behind your hair and your face hiding behind a giant mask it's just not a good look.

I identified two competing shoes and immediately decided on both; one for pop of color and the other for boldness. Onto earrings: this was not a pleasant experience as we were ignored my the male associate. So upon asking for help he decided to assist another lady who happened to simply walk up. We received assistance for another sales person and when I asked about formal purses, she even escorted us down to get assistance from a real gem, Alyce! She was once a personal stylist so she wanted the whole rundown of the event and dress. She personally talk to me about occasion appropriateness, balance and harmony with my shoe choices! I was so appreciative of her attention to detail. We even walked back to jewelry and found better options and after my purchase she walked me to show me nail polish to get. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Give this woman a RAISE AND PROMOTION! My rating was going to be 3 stars until I recalled my interaction with ALYCE!

Their shoes and accessories sections also had lots of good products, including some high end brands. I was surprised to see the had Brahmin's handbags in display, never had seen in other stores. The associates in perfume and cosmetics sections were handing out some free samples. Most of the items were on the higher end of pricing as most goods were branded. The store was tidy and clean. Associates were friendly, helping customers with trying out products and doing checkouts.

I was at a store next-door to this business so I decided to drop in and see what they had. The…read moreService was very friendly and I was greeted upon entering the store and told that they had a 40% off sale. So I looked through the various racks of clothing and women's purses, etc. I ended up purchasing two sport tank tops. One was a Nike and another one was an Eddie Bauer. After the 40% off, I believe my purchase came to around $12. They have a wide selection of clothing, but quite a few of it was not my style. I believe this shop is for women that are probably late 30s and older. I tend to buy more clothing that is current with the trends as long as they look nice on me and I only saw a few jeans and a couple shirts that looked a little bit more modern. The shop was busy and the sales lady was exceptional in helping anyone that needed it. I would say the reason I did not give it a five star, is that there were several shirts that I looked at and I was interested in but they had stains on them. The clothing looked clean and pressed, but they probably should not have accepted those items for resale. This is a resell women's clothing store. It seems like they have quite a few 40 to 50% off sales. When I was checking out, she was telling me that there was going to be a 50% off sale the next day.

This store had limited picked over supplies with a lot of spacing between items. It was disorganized and disarray in quite a few areas. The service at the front counter was fine, and the girl was friendly who did the check out. There were some things that had a good value to them and pricing but they really did not have a lot to offer. I'm pretty much done with Burlington stores. I had a gift certificate that I had to use and that's why I visited.
