I informed her that I had never had any issues in the past ever as that's where I now keep my receipts instead of a bunch of paper piling up. I was so irritated & this was such a waste of my time & efforts...that this was the start of a bad day gone wrong. Anywho... Today is Tuesday & sad I had to email the receipt to myself, printed the receipt out & made a darn 2nd attempt to return these items and this time...she let me slide and advised that "I'm going to do it as a courtesy THIS TIME but, moving forward keep your receipt." This lady went on & on about this is their new policy, keep your receipt for Ross as this will not be accepted next time. I felt like this lady little kid or something but, she was actually accepting my return I just let her talk. I have a new outlook on this store location with ROSS staff reprimanding me talking about "this is an outlet or discounted store so, X,y,z..... DEALING with younger boys I wasn't even able to get my items refunded back to my account, because they threw away the receipt and one brother popped the tag. So now I have store credit to a store that NEVER HAS THE FITTING ROOM OPEN!!!! I am disgusted by the lack of communication, because I called you all to check about the return! The owner himself doesn't manufacture the shoes or the clothes, he buys wholesale just like everyone else. He's not responsible for the shoes falling apart. I would recommend reaching out to the manufacture who could possibly replace them for you or at minimum offer to repair them free of charge. We headed to the register. The line was insane by 11 am and not a lot of associates working the register. I will never understand these businesses running their stores like this on the weekend at Christmas time in a store that has a lot of foot traffic. If they had something else to wear, and it didn't throw off our schedule I would have left those coats on the counter and walked out. Retail businesses do better. The store was just what I needed but who wants to wait in line for 20 minutes to spend their money? Not me.
