They always have my size and prices aren't bad. It's always a quick trip for me every time I go.

I am rating this 1 star on the COMPANY and not the actual freestanding store. As a customer of Express for over 15 years, I am highly upset of the new third party vendor, BB Dakota, that they use on their site. I placed an order over 2 weeks ago over $200. That order is still in processing and has not shown shipped. I called Express customer service for a refund. Then in return, they tell me since it's a third party vendor they can not process my return and I need to contact BB Dakota on my own, via EMAIL only. Another upsetting action upon Express. You are quick to take my money, however to get it back I need to jump thru other people. I sent the email to BB Dakota. I immediately get a response in what appears to be a generic email they send automatically for refunds, telling me I have to wait 2-3 weeks for an item to be inspected before getting my money back. UNACCEPTABLE! These items haven't even left their facility. I will NEVER order from BB DAKOTA again. read more

When it comes to technology and fashion, society eventually forces me to update my cellular and bodily wares. My designer jeans that I starved myself to afford 5 years go suddenly seem antiquated, masking my booties and refusing to cram inside knee-high leather. I GUESS I've gotten my money's worth and can move on from 2006. I succumbed and bought some Express skinny jeans. I tried skinny jeans once before, disgusted by the ballooned sight of my thighs, irritated that the fabric still scrunched inside my boots. But the Zelda slim fit pants I bought at Express are different - they actually flatter my shape, and the Short (as opposed to Regular) cut stops at the ankle, the minimal diameter allowing me to wear my cool boots for the first time over a year after I purchased them! Plus, the Buy One Get One Half Off special convinced me that I need a pair in both black and primary blue. Unfortunately, the slate gray color wasn't available in Short, only Regular. God, I might look for them online... read more

I showed up at the Atlantic Station Express today to return a pair of $23 jeans I had purchased at a different Express store. What happened in the 11 minutes I spent in the Atlantic Station store is almost beyond belief. It is worth mentioning at this point that I was in a good mood going into the store. I was on one of those post-sports-playing endorphin highs that so many of today's fat youth could use so many more of. I walked in with the distressed pair of too-tight jeans in hand, and a woman greeted me with a friendly "Are you returning those?" to which I replied yes. "Okay, she'll help you right here." Then I met Super Bitch. Super Bitch was actually pretty cute, but the look on her face said, "I hate you and everything you have to return" (one thing). The tattoo on her neck also said, in so many ink designs, "Hi, I'm a bitch" (her tattoo wasn't that super). The store was practically empty. I actually might have been the only person in there at 6:45pm on a Wednesday. It was one of those moments when you think, "Wow, I bet it's nice to work in such a trendy, comfortable retail store right now, shooting the shit with co-workers your own age, hunting for new clothes to buy at the employee discount." Super Bitch looked at the jeans I set on the counter and said, in the snarkiest tone possible, "Do you have a receipt?" I replied yes, pulled it out of my wallet, and handed it to her. "The jeans aren't on here," she said, in classic I-told-you-so fashion. She handed me back the receipt, rolling her eyes. I looked at it and said (again, objectively speaking, IN A GOOD MOOD), "Oh, it's actually right here (pointing), the ink's just gotten faded out," which it had. She took the receipt again in her hands, this time pulling it only slightly closer to her face. Unnecessarily long silence. I waited for an argument, but nothing happened. She then started typing things into the cash register. I can only assume this meant she had finally acknowledged the word "Denim" in super faded type, and had begun processing the return. That or she heard the "So You Think You Can Be a Super Bitch?" tryouts were coming to town and she only had one day left to prepare. Instead of just processing the return, though, her vengeance mode kicked in. Prior to handing her the receipt, I had ripped off the "$25 off $50" Express coupon that I gotten after my initial purchase and stapled to the receipt, mostly just to allow her to process the return without junk hanging around. Again, it was ME who stapled this to the receipt, to remind myself to use it since I knew I would be in Express again to return the jeans. I could have just left it at home, but I actually PLANNED to spend $50 more dollars! "Well you'll have to give me that coupon in order to return the jeans," Super Bitch said, in her "OK, I'm not fucking around now, you're about to feel the wrath of the Super Bitch Slap" voice. Wha, wha, whaaaaatt??!! Out of the corner of my eye, I could see the warm yellow glow of the evening sun peeking in the sleek modern facade of the front doors, framed by the clear blue sky reflecting off the mirrored building on the other side of the street. "GIVE ME, the coupon." I peeked to the left to see if the thick fog and dark gray storm clouds had rolled in yet. Still sunny and beautiful. I was completely baffled. How, given the circumstances, was it possible to be that much of a bitch? Did I smell that bad? Is there a dress code in Express? WAS PURE EVIL SEEPING FROM MY PORES? Did she want to have sex with me so bad, but knew I wouldn't accept her advances, so she skipped straight to hating me? How did she know I wouldn't accept her advances? I decided never to buy anything at Express again. I prayed I could just get my money back, and get the hell out of whatever Pandora's Retail Box I had walked into. I handed her the coupon. She continued to process the return, scowling every time she was forced to communicate with me like, "Do you have the credit card you used?" and "Sign here [on the pin pad]." Never a please or thank you. In fact, when all was said and done, there wasn't even a "Thanks" or "Have a good day" or even "Have a day." I just grabbed the new receipt and walked away. It was a beautiful unspoken acknowledgment of mutual disgust. Only I felt curiously enlightened, and I'm pretty sure she just felt the instinctual but hardly satisfactory sensation a vampire gets after sucking the life out of another human; another day, another neck. Make no mistake, being a Super Bitch sucks. read more

I stopped in recently to check out their "summer inventory" of dress pants and actually ended up buying 2 pairs (buy one get one 1/2 off). The pants looked great and I headed home with a smile on my face because it is a rarity that I go shopping for something and actually return home with exactly what I was looking for. The tag on the pants said machine wash cold and dry on low heat, so I did just that. Once they were done laundering I pulled them out, shook them off, and tried them on again. Holy crap, they shrank in every direction! What was once a comfortable fit through the crotch became some extreme moose knuckles and the length decreased by at least 3 inches. My great new dress pants instantly became the trendy "skinny jeans" which, in my opinion, are super ridiculous and unnecessary. I returned them without any problems (I didn't get the chance to meet "super bitch" (see Court S's review)), so the experience wasn't that bad. I'm just annoyed that I'm back at square 1 with no dress pants and I was forced to go to Atlantic Station twice (fortunately I wasn't robbed and/or stabbed in the process). read more

Love, love and love this place! Expensive cloth yes! GOOD QUALITY though. And not bad if you have an Express credit card. Express brands are always up to date on the latest fashions and you can always find a really cute, sexy or work attire that fits your needs. Love them! read more

The young ladies were not enthusiastic at all, rather dry customer service skills. The young lady was right next to us while we were waiting in line and after several minutes we had to ask if we can get checked out. The level of service should be exceptional at this location but for some reason it is not. read more

This is the dirtiest Express I have ever been walked into! The walls in the dressing room are filthy. They are suppose to be white but the have black marks all over then and some areas brown marks! I gave them three stars because the girls that work there are so sweet and very helpful. Thank goodness for there awesome team because otherwise I would never go back. read more

I had planned my day @ Express days in advance at their online show room. So, today I headed out to Atlantic Station from downtown and showed up at the large doors to enter Express. I had a list of things to buy and was able to find everything with ease. The big plus was the associates help, knowledge, and very polite and professional tone that made shopping there exquisite! They also were able to persuade me into buying a great pair of blue jeans that they retrieved for me on request and did so quickly. To sum up my visit today, it was excellent. There were many sales and I did sign up for an Express Credit Card to save more. It was fun and I got the things I really needed and like a lot. I will be back soon! read more

Historically, I've enjoyed the Express brand. It's a bit frustrating when the store's holiday hours run until 6 PM on New Year's Eve but they lock the doors at 5:45 with a gentleman standing at the door running his hand across his throat pantomiming the words "we're closed." Right out of college I worked retail. It's been a bit, but it feels laughably like the sort of activity that would not have been considered. Who knows, maybe I'm out of touch. read more
