Dentist had his own agenda about what HE wanted to do with my teeth which mostly consisted of removal of some and root canals and crowns on others. I now have 1 lonely tooth on upper. Billing department is not adequate and you cannot get any kind of coherent bill. They have some kind of running total but do not show any amounts for insurance payments. Would leave a zero if I could. Please do not go here for your own good. Went for an initial exam and cleaning. 1. They said I need all my wisdom teeth removed though only two were impacted. None of my previous dentists ever mentioned this. 2. Didn't fully remove one of them causing multiple infections and extreme pain. And I still do not have feeling in part of my lip months later. 3. Went in due to problems and they basically forced me to do another procedure on the spot with local anesthetic and said I had to pay another $900 for it! On top of all that, the office manager, Nineva, was very dismissive and unempathetic. I wouldn't wish the past month of nightmares and pain on my worst enemy. The worst thing is I feel like all of this was probably avoidable. On the bright side, one of the dentists there, Jason Brenner, was very nice and did what he could for me. The oral surgeon was also professional in attitude, though I'm wary of his skills. read more

I had a consultation and an extraction done which ended up getting infected which was solved with antibiotics. I paid for all work before leaving the office. I decided to go with another dental office for future work but now they're sending me invoices to pay more fees. I called them and said that I had paid all my invoices and they said they would look into it but they continue to send me invoices. read more

This is a well run dentist office, which exudes professionalism from the phone to the dental chair. My dentist, Dr. Brian Currie has done all of my dentistry, and I could not be any happier. He and his assistant did some terrific work today. Hats off.... Also, the receptionist LANA is the epitome of kindness and answers all my questions. She is a true gem. So nice she is.... I was charged $410 ($335 originally but it was increased for some reason) for a recommended filling that was done wrong and ended up needing a root canal. there are way better places to go to around the area. read more

Dr. Joshua Meyer is as good as it gets. I was scared to death to have a tooth extracted--all those bad childhood dental experiences surfaced. first review I've ever written. I don't normally write stuff like this because I think people like this are extremely petty. however I just can't believe what I went through with these people. I was running late for an 11:30 am appointment on a Saturday - I called at 11:37 and let them know I was gonna be another 3-5 minutes late. they were totally fine with it over the phone- no sense of urgency whatsoever. when I arrived at 11:43, I was told I couldn't be seen!!!! that's 5 minutes from the end of the phone call. what an absolute joke. and then when I called later to file a complaint to the manager, the customer service rep had the audacity to ask me why I was late this place is horrible. the reps are nasty and mean and had complete disregard over the fact that they had no sense of urgency on the phone when I called. I would strongly recommend going to a different dentist. my family will never go here again read more

I don't like to write negatively about professionals, but sometimes social media can be eye opening for others. Dr, Chavin will act like a professional and look you in the eye and tell you what's wrong and be like a sympathetic friend, while the whole time he's gas lighting you, Don't become a boat payment for this guy. He's willing to pull out perfectly good teeth, put you through all kinds of pain and financial hardships so he can benefit from your ignorance and trust. After getting the bad news from Dr. Chavin, and how I needed a tooth pulled and a crown replacement, i decided to get a second opinion from my family dentist I've been using for years (he's far out of the way, but this was necessary to see him). I had a gum infection that was treated with antibiotics and nothing else was wrong. Dr. Chavin told me I had a cracked to causing the problem and that it would cost around $6000.00 after all is said and done. He took an xray and said I had a cracked tooth, my dentist took an xray after his, and said it all looked good. $75 for an office visit to my dentist and all is well. Don't become a boat payment for this shyster. read more

I went to this clinic last December 2023 to have cleaning and recommended root extraction and crown. I saw Dr. Brenner as first time patient after my longtime dentist (more than 10 years) retired from the same Dental office. The services are good. My issue is the billing, my copay/share is enormous and so I went to check my Dental Insurance website and my claims were denied because the services rendered by not in-network provider. I was NOT told by the front desk when I went to the office for cleaning and Dr. Brenner that he is not in-network with my dental insurance. The charges totaled almost $2,000 dollars for cleaning, one tooth extraction and one crown. I asked the front desk why it's too high and said she will ask the higher ups and see what can be done and let me know. She did not mention about not in-network coverage. I highly doubt that the high charges will be resolved but I just want to tell my experience so it's a warning to the public that this happened to me. Ask first if they are in-network before any services are done at this office because they will NOT tell you upfront. I am a retired senior citizen, Medicare recipient relying on my SS benefits and have other medical bills, Bone marrow cancer treatment, BPH (enlarged prostate treatment done) and Chiro treatment so money is tight. I have so many things going on in my mind at that time when I went to the Dental office and trusted the Dental office people that they are honest with me. The customer service here is deplorable. My son had two appointments here for dental issues. I attempted to make another appointment because my son had developed swelling from a tooth that was decayed. It turned out to be an abscess. I called to make an appointment. The receptionist treated me as if I were lying about the reason for wanting to make an emergency appointment. They told me to send in pictures of my son's mouth and would make a determination as to whether or not they would see him. I called another dentist office and had no problems getting an appointment the next day. My son was given antibiotics and an X-ray. Later had to have a tooth removed. read more

I saw Richard S. Conen in October 2022 as a first time patient after my longtime dentist retired. He saw me in his office and started badmouthing my old dentist on things that my previous dentist had not caught during his exam. Then, Richard S. Conen said I'd have to go to see specialists and referred me to three of his buddy dentists. I went to my own network of dentist friends who are as experienced as his, if not more, and confirmed that despite his years of experience, he had not diagnosed my oral health correctly. Also, his front desk lady did not know the difference between "in-network" and "accepted" at the time of explaining the insurance and was extremely rude. The dentist would not bother pronouncing your name correctly and will say during your first visit, "you have to pay," in a threatening manner. They have a very old x-ray machine, and I am not sure if $350-400 was worth paying for the services by such arcane x-ray machine they have. I would not recommend Richard S. Conen, period. read more

I found dr. Kanarek through 800-dentist. He did the most thorough check up ever. It felt great. He got a plan together for all the work I needed and had me choose what is best for my pocket. His dental assistant is super nice. Petra did my cleaning. She was amazing. Marcia from the front desk is awesome. Super friendly and helpful. On another note. I brought my 2 y.o. son to some appointments. And dr. Kanarek was nice to him to the point that my son allowed him to "check" his teeth. read more

First visit to a US dentist and chose from my dental insurance plan combined with Yelp reviews. The receptionist, the dental assistant and the dentist were all quite a a. frankly just lovely. I had already filled out the forms provided by email so check in was super fast. The dental assistant them took a number of X-rays and apologised throughout in case I found them uncomfortable. Dr. Kanarek and his staff are wonderful. I first found him through 1-800 dentist. I had broken my front tooth and my regular dentist (at that time) was not open. Dr. Kanarek was able to get me in immediately and was able to bond the front tooth so I did not look like a hillbilly. I have gone to many dentists in my life, but I could tell Dr. Kanarek really cared about saving your teeth. From that day on (about 5+ years now) he has been my dentist....cleanings, fillings, crowns and other dental problems. He is pain free, tells it like it is (doesn't try to sell you what you don't need) and just plain cares...just like his whole office staff, especially Marcia.
