My wife and I stopped in while running some errands, and I have to tell ya, the atmosphere and service are top notch! The owner/brewmaster is still an active firefighter and has carried that theme throughout the place! The brews have a mostly fruit palate with mango, strawberry, black cherry, and orange creamsicle ales. You won't find Corona or Miller Lite here, nor do they have liquor. Ciders and Seltzers may appear in the future, but for now, those aren't available yet, but they do have some wine for those non-beer drinkers. Food Trucks in the parking lot will also be coming soon! I'm looking forward to Engine 3 becoming a staple of the community!

I first tried their beer at the Greek Festival (the Greek brew was so good!) and knew I had to give them another shot. When I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even with The Shack Wings & Brews across the street, Aurellia stands out because they actually brew their own beers -- and they're fantastic. I don't drink much, but I tried a light one on the manager's recommendation and ended up sharing it with my friend. Smooth, refreshing, and plenty of variety on tap. For food, I went with the Bavarian Forest Burger -- wildberry bacon jam, arugula, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, beer mustard, all stacked on a toasted potato bun. I wish added hickory bacon and an egg, and loved the options. The burger came out cooked medium (they only do one level of doneness), but it was juicy, flavorful, and held together perfectly with the bun. My friend isn't a fan of pink, so she struggled a bit with her cheeseburger, but honestly, mine was one of the best burgers I've had in El Paso. Filling, rich, and worth every bite. The service really stood out. Everyone -- from the manager to the staff -- pitched in, helping each other out, cleaning tables, and jumping in when needed. It's a smaller space, and it can get busy and loud, but they kept everything running smoothly. I loved that team atmosphere. Bonus: They even had a lunch special with a discount if you pair a house beer with your meal -- a nice surprise. The outdoor patio has both shaded and sunny spots, which is perfect for El Paso weather. My only real complaint? Parking can be a bit tricky. All in all, Aurellia's is a true local gem. A good classic lager for those who like to play it 'safe', The Marilyn is a Belgian Hoppy Blonde that smells like a hefeweizen with a light hop taste. The Gipper is advertised as a dry hopped amber, and they nailed it! That one was my favorite of the flight. I'm an IPA fan, so I had to Tricky Dick (a hazy IPA) to the flight to complete the spread. The Club Sandwich hit the spot for a late lunch! And as good as it was, the beer cheese and fries may have been my favorite part! No water on tap, but bottled water is available.
