My one-bedroom apartment was roomy and had tons of storage. The front entrance elevator helps when you've got a load to carry, and all entrances are secure. Parking is plentiful and the grounds are very well manicured. They have all kinds of activities if you want to get involved, or you can just be by yourself and enjoy the quiet time. The pool is spectacular too! As I make my move out of state, I will be sad to leave behind this great place to live!

I really like the layout - roomy, updated, and quaint. There are some downsides - there has been at least six different managers since we moved in Feb. 2015. I know they are individuals with lives, but out of these six, at least two were fired for theft. Also, Battlefield is EXTREMELY busy and hotrods, motorcycles, and other loud vehicles drive back and forth through here at all hours of the night - street racing, driving as fast as possible, it has cost me many hours of sleep.

I've been racking up my utility bills for 3 months using portable units to cool the place down. Now hired HVAC people have taken OVER 3 DAYS to replace the unit. They never followed up on progress until I CALLED. Everything is constantly breaking/needs to get fixed or replaced. Place is just old. They don't follow up on anything unless you bug them about it 50 times. They use 3rd party companies for leases and rack up charges and fees like nobody's business. Rent is cheap but NOT worth the place to live in. Car got stolen third night I was living there (no cameras or street lamps to help.) Living in misery trying to get stuff fixed. Electric bill is at $250 to power a one bed one bath. If you have a dog, there's no grass for them to go to the bathroom. The grass that is there, is full of animal waste and trash. Landlords are nice and good people. But Wooten as a company is the worst business I've ever had to deal with. I wish I never moved in here, but I'm stuck until I can find another place. LEASE IS MONTH TO MONTH FOR A REASON. DO NOT LIVE HERE. As someone who has been trapped here for almost 8 months now- it's not worth it. Worse decision of my life.

I would NOT recommend living here unless it's your absolute last option…read more We've had a ceiling leak for 3 MONTHS, and the issue is STILL not fixed. Management has continued doing "quick fixes" instead of actually fixing the problem. They also don't seem to properly inspect units before people move in. When we moved in, we already had multiple issues: * Front door panel coming off * Doors that wouldn't close properly * A cracked bathtub * A freezer that barely worked * And other problems Management will text you saying maintenance is coming, and then no one shows up. We've also had outside companies come out for repairs, and management has repeatedly blamed them for problems that weren't their fault. One example: our washer and dryer were scratched, drywall dust was left throughout our home, our belongings were left scattered around, and our back door was left unlocked. Someone even left urine all over our toilet seat. Management did take $500 off our rent because of this ongoing issue, and honestly, that was nice of them and we do appreciate that. BUT the problem is still not fixed. A rent credit doesn't change the fact that we've been dealing with the same issue for 3 months. When we complained, management blamed the plumbing company. So we contacted the company ourselves--and what we were told did NOT match what management told us. At this point, we've experienced multiple excuses and conflicting stories, and we're tired of having to chase people down just to get basic repairs done. If you're thinking about moving here, PLEASE do your research first. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend looking somewhere else.
