After walking out with a gorgeous…read morelamp, I had about 17mins before the Riverside Antique Mall closed, so I decided to do a quick walk through to see if it warranted a longer return trip. The second I opened the door, the lady at the front says, "we're done. We close in ten minutes." OK, thanks. Lights were already out on most areas. I used the flashlight on my phone to look at a few areas, then she hunts me down to say they are closed now. She rushed me out the door, quite rudely, at 4:49pm. In conclusion, I saw many wonderful items that I may or may not come back to look at. Her rudeness was just a bit much.​

Entering Riverside Antique Mall is like stepping into your grandmother's attic, if your grandmother's attic was the size of a small zoo. I don't know where they find all of this stuff, but it is a treasure trove and I hope it stays this way forever. Bring a snack because you will lose hours to this place...but never fear, they do have bathrooms.

From the outside appearance and the name on the building, you think that this is going to be a place that is full of items 'picked' from old barns, outbuildings...etc. Once inside it becomes clear that it's mostly crafty, country and primitive decor items that you can find all over. There were a few booths that had some uniques and antiques. It's great for those who like those mass produced crafty items...but if you're a true lover of old junk and barn picked items you might be disappointed like we were.

When I pulled up a guy was closing and locking the gate to the property. When I asked him why he said it was 5 P.M. I said no, it's 4:45, and I just drove 250 miles to get here before 5. His response was "Well, we are closed". As I made a u-turn to go back to the highway I watched him walk 100 yards to the bar and grill next door and go inside. Extremely unprofessional and showing a complete lack of interest in the vendors in the mall and a potential customer. I am a full time dealer with money to spend. But apparently not here. Someone should let the owner know. Hopefully this guy was NOT the owner.
