Spent a chilly and windy day at Tombstone and it captured the mood of a real Wild West! Dusty, unpaved roads, people in costumes of the era, stagecoach making rounds, and hearing the accent of that bygone era sounded very amusing! One has to come to Tombstone with unabashed humor and imagination. I definitely enjoyed my time walking around the historic district. The reenactment of the famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral was hilarious and entertaining. Food at Big Nose Kate's Saloon such as the Elote and Rueben Sandwich with fries were delicious and service was great. I'd say my time at Tombstone was worth it and unforgettable. read more

We bought this event online in a package deal; for the most part I enjoyed the show. Originally I thought it was the reenactment of the OK Corral shootout (another show entirely). What it turned out to be was a comedy show of sorts with audience participation and the like. It was a good time. Tip: arrive early to get good seating away from the sun (unless that's your thing, not judging). They also have a decent air rifle shooting range carnival thing and a real saloon, along with other picture - worthy displays on the grounds. read more

Bring cash so you can tip the actors, because they are putting on a stellar show that will entertain you with stories of the Wild Wild West. The folks at Old Tombstone have got an outdoor theater, an offering of bus tours, and...a mini golf course? But nobody comes here to put, it's all about tales of 19th century America that feel almost satirical. It's a cool summer day, with Tombstone's elevation of 4500 feet leaving the town a solid 25 degrees cooler than Phoenix. I grab a beer from the little tavern, and take my seat on the bleachers of the outdoor amphitheater. Old country tune (Big Iron) is blaring from the loudspeakers, and I see the actors take the stage. They look familiar--they're the same dudes casually roaming the streets in costume! And right as the first scenes unfold, we learn those gaudy revolvers on their hips are actually real guns, and they're going to have fun shooting blanks all afternoon. Without spoiling the entire production, it's set in the time of the mining boom, when Tombstone was full of opportunities, where we learn it was full of bankers, lawyers, territorial wars against indigenous people, and "ladies of the night". This is REAL America where there are next to no rules, and making money by any means possible is the name of the game. But there are still good guys and bad guys, of course! The bad guys, who we, the audience will boo are the bankers, lawyers, and politicians. They don't literally appear in this production, but the antagonist is a robber, which in wild west epistemology serves the same function. The good guy, of course, is the cop...er...sheriff. He is a wildly incompetent drunkard who loafs around on the job and can barely shoot straight, let alone stay awake, but he's putting his life on the line to protect some property, so we're obliged to applaud. If only our actual discourse could be so straightforward. The show has plenty of action and one-liners, and everyone has a great time! Across the street, there's a bus tour with a different actor who will expand on some of the historical references made throughout the show. Like the rich history of Chinese immigrants, the most successful of whom a woman who made money getting men into mines and women into brothels. You will see the sites where people died, a glimpse of a gangster graveyard, and more. This place is really small but it's actually full of natural beauty and much better weather than the valley. We really should have made this our capital city. This is more than worth a day trip and it's such a treat to see a little history up close. read more

We have been to Tucson theme park too and this one felt almost the same as that one. However, I can say the Tucson one is much bigger than this one. But still, it is great fun being here. Tons of glimpse from old western times and definitely is a must-visit in Tombstone. In fact, the only attraction for which most of us visit this town. The Gun show is the highlight. Old Tombstone is a bit kitschy and a bit worn, and it definitely is not a theme park. On a cold day in early March, we arrived for the first show of the day, and found only the Cantina open. Since we weren't interested in a beer at 11 am, we walked around the "park." The kids walked the mini golf course (no clubs/balls in sight), wandered in and out of the jail, checked out the rail cars, peered in the windows of the out-of-business restaurant, looked longingly at the empty "gold panning" area, and took one turn at the shooting gallery. All of this took about 20 minutes, including reading the historical information at each hole of mini golf. Fortunately, we only had to wait about 10 minutes more for the gunfight to start. The gunfight is a comedy show with audience involvement, and it lasts about 30 minutes. The 8 year-old looovvved it, but the 5 year-old emphatically did not. We wore ear plugs throughout and still found the shots to be quite loud. The show was funny, though, and contained information about Tombstone's history. The actors also were very friendly, inviting everyone--especially kids--to ask questions and pose with them after the show. If the show hadn't been so much fun, I probably would have given only 2 stars. read more

The animals is the animal pen at the mining tour are completely covered in huge flies. It's cruel and they need to put out fly traps

Really enjoyed our visit to Tombstone. The staff really went out of their way to make the visit memorable for us. Everyone was happy to pose for my camera which was very much appreciated. We went on a weekend so the place was pretty crowded. Stayed over Saturday night and returned to "downtown" Tombstone at dawn on Sunday morning and got some great pictures before people started showing up. You can, of course, spend a lot of money in Tombstone but walking around and enjoying being immersed in history there is free. read more

The Great Comedy Gunflight and Stunt Show was great. I was skeptical at first, but I was laughing throughout the show. Before the show, you can go inside the bar, that is located in front of the show doors, & grab a beer. I believe it was a 45 minute show. They will give you a ticket stub that has discounts on it at three different locations in Tombstone. I definitely recommend to go see this show if you have time! read more

This is not really a theme park, but it is a neat little attraction. There is a little bar, restaurant, comedy gunfight show, mini golf, shooting gallery, gold mining, jail, and trolley tour. I purchased the Wyatt Earp ticket combo for $15, and it consisted of a trolley tour, gunfight show, and mini golf. I skipped out on mini golf, but just the tour and show together made it a great deal still since both are $10 individually. The trolley tour is only 30 minutes long, but it is full of information about Tombstone and its history. On Friday and Saturday nights, there is the option to go on the ghost tour, which is $20 alone or $30 as part of the Marshall ticket combo. The show is 30 minutes as well, and it is an entertaining show as long as the audience is willing to boo and cheer where need be. Panchos Cantina, the little bar, has really cheap beer that you can bring to the show. I did not go to the restaurant, but you can take the food from there to the show as well. Though I did not do mini golf, I did walk around the course, which is decently sized and filled with information about Tombstone. You are not going to spend all day here, but you can spend a few hours here. Also, all of the little activities make this a perfect place for the kids. read more

Even here a couple of times and it's just fantastic! The workers really get into character and they put on show and interact with everyone. There is something for everyone to eat.. from fast food to sit down. Make sure wear shoes( streets are dirt) and some sunscreen. They have plenty of shops ms stores to buy souvenirs! Awesome place to check out and there's something for all ages. If you get the Groupon you can get a sweet deal on the gun fight show, the trolley tour, and mini golf. The show itself was entertaining and the actors really bring it to life. Their jokes were a bit quirky but it's what you make of it and they did such a wonderful job. We enjoyed the show and some of the nice things are that you can grab a beer before the show at the little bar that is right by its entrance and bring it in with you. At the end you can take photos with the actors. If you are bringing little ones I suggest bringing ear protection since the gun shots are quite loud. Other than that prepare for a good time! The mini golf is also pretty fun with Western inspired decor throughout. read more

Great show in town!!!! Funny and the actors all interact with audience. Loved it!!!!!

Cool spot right off the main street, you can go mini golf, take a trolley tour if the city, watch a comedy gun fight and more. Highly recommend stopping in here to experience it all. We stopped at the cantina and then watched the gun show. It was funny and they guys in the show are what made it. They are real guns firing blanks so when watching if your ears are sensitive or have little kids around just be aware of that. The Chuckwagon is here too where you the best food in Town is at from what we were told. To bad we couldn't experience it, since its family owned they had a family bday party to be at. So maybe next time here we can see what they Hype is all about, family is always first. You can also fire some play guns at some targets, and the staff walking around and in the business are friendly and very helpful in any questions you may have. read more

We had a Groupon for show, trolley and golf. Well worth it! The show is not an OK corral re-enactment but it is real good for kids since it's funny. My kids (7-11) enjoyed this much more than the actual OK corral. The mini golf was super cool and had info about area at each hole. The trolly was fun and informative. read more

I don't know if I'd call this a "theme park" but it is nice to check out. The views of the desert are beautiful. There's a mini golf course and a shooting gallery (didn't see what they charge). They have a small bar that charges very reasonable prices ($2.00 for a draft beer wow!), a restaurant called Brenda's Chuck Wagon that serves hamburgers, hot dogs etc., replica of a jail, marshal's office and lots of other things to see. It's located on 4th Street by where you get the trolley. The comedy shootout is located here too and cost $10.00pp. You will save a lot of money if you buy tickets on their website or Groupon. read more

Your in Tombstone. Why not? Then family was here just last week and the kids in the audience enjoyed the show. I had more fun watching the kids get into it, but the show was surprisingly enjoyable. The 'somewhat scripted' show was done nicely and the actors where having a lot of fun with it. This little place is worth it. We bought the combo deal with groupon. This included the gun show, mini golf, and a trolley ride & tour. I have gone to two gun fights before this. This one here, was the best by far! The crew was absolutely hilarous! I would definitely come back and see the show again. They do several skits with different story lines each time. The audience is also included, which adds to the fun. I appreciated that the jokes were family/kid-friendly. Unfortunately, it was very rainy and cold today so we did not even attempt mini golf. I felt completely bamboozled when we happened upon this while visiting Tombstone yesterday. Every "attraction" is about money, in fact, that's the only time the principles were concerned with us and polite. We whisked past an old-fashioned saloon on the way to the show completely unaware there was an entrance fee. $8 a head later we sat through a lopsided 1/2 hour "show," during which one of the "actors" kept chastising his castmates for going off-script, and jokes about racial profiling and liberals. The only time we felt as if we were "welcome" in Tombstone is when someone was trying to bamboozle us into buying a tour or another show. No thanks Tombstone, you won't see us 'round these parts no more. read more

I was very disappointed by the gun fight show. A poorly written script that had nothing to do with Tombstone history. Two guys steal a burro from a female miner, then beat her up and then kill her in cold blood. While the drunken sheriff sleeps in his jail. If this plot is something you'd like to see go and see the show. Otherwise see the show at the OK Corral. The shooting range was broken. But miniature golf was available if you drove all that way for miniature golf. Only portable toilets available, which were kind of disgusting. The show was entertaining "slap stuck comedy". This is not the famous shoot out. The workers were very friendly and $2 beer is nice. The mini golf is cute, small, something to do with the kids and we had fun playing (6 of us). Trolley ride was great; good history lesson (probably our favorite part of the package that we else would have missed.) We do not recommend eating at the Chuckwagon! I would not mind the steep price so much if the food had been better. (Chili was served luke-cold, steak fingers - uh, not steak, sarsaparilla missing the sarsaparilla and the price of a hotdog was nearly $10.)
