As you can see from my photo (I couldn't resist biting into it before the pic), I love this place. Any chance I get to come here when I'm visiting my parents, I make it a point! One of my favorite bagel places in the whole country and I go a lot of places :) Their bagels ARE THE BEST: soft, chewy, always perfectly toasted!! This is my first time trying a sandwich (Santa Fe) and of course it's fantastic (do wish the bagel was toasted but I should have asked)... Favorite thing is their selection of great cream cheese and bagels baked fresh every day! A great place for grab and go or if you're planning a party - cream cheese by the tub! Super cute bagel shop. Has plenty of seating and right in downtown Owatonna. I ordered the Italian bagel sandwich and it was good but I would try something else next time. The Wild rice soup was good, also tried the white chicken chili and it was all beans. My kids got a bagel with cream cheese, my daughter cinnamon and sugar bagel was delicious. Not much to delve in in this sleepy winters town. Everything is on its own schedule. Bagels are good but not as crispy on the outside as much as I would like. The first time is got a bagel was with smoked salmon and it was a different salmon, not the traditional NY smoked cured sliced salmon. But a chunk of salmon that has been smoked. Not what I was expecting. Still good. Only thing that stuck in my craw is that the people who work here aren't the most friendly. They seem overwhelmed, tired, and irritable. The bagels themselves are pretty good a bit on the soft side, not really crispy. The everything bagel which they call it "everything but the sink" IMO reeks too much of sesame seeds. We stopped here for lunch while traveling through. We were so pleased with the quaint look, delicious piping hot soup, and flavorful fresh garlic bagels with loads of cream cheese! We had the wild rice chicken soup and loaded potato soup (both wonderfully prepared). On my next trip through I hope to save room for the yummy appearing ice cream! read more

I visit OTB's at least once a week. I like their asiago or garlic bagel with pimento cream cheese. I appreciate that they carry pimento cheese - as it seems like it is "outside of the box" of what you typically find in a smaller community. I find the people who work for the owners to be better at customer service. I like the ambiance and particularly that the garage doors open during warmer weather. read more

As a Chicagoan & bagel fanatic - I'm always a little skeptical of small town bagel shops, but this place is the real deal! We stopped here since we were in town for a wedding and needed a hearty breakfast - plus it came highly recommended. The shop itself is larger than I thought from the outside, but gives the small-town homey vibes that you're looking for in a bagel & coffee joint. Important to note that it's also an ice cream shop serves Maggie Moo's. Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, the line went fast and they still has most things in stock. The woman working the register was efficient and kind. I started with a cold brew with almond milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup. I originally wanted to try the nitro butterscotch, but they ran out of nitro. However, I wasn't disappointed! This was some of the best cold brew coffee I've ever had - sweet and creamy without the weird artificial sugar free taste. If I lived here I would stop by every morning. The bagel sandwich was also top tier! The kitchen sink bagel was a delicious "everything" bagel - mine was a little heavy on the salt but I didn't mind. The garden veggie lite cream cheese was the perfect pairing with the egg, bacon and tomato. I almost never finish a bagel sandwich but I scarfed this down! Overall, wish this was closer to my home in the Twin Cities! Will definitely be back the morning after the wedding for a second round. read more

Delicious bagels. Great flavor options. Ambiance is open and fun. However, check your order before you leave. I've learned this the hard way but today...I was victorious. I checked my 6 pack (6 sliced bagels plus cream cheese) to make sure they were actually sliced this time. (It's an upcharge). Alas, they were but no cream cheese in sight. I popped up to the counter and told the man I didn't get my cream cheese. I said I would've been mad if I had made it all the way home and noticed it. He replied, "Well, we wouldn't want that." Place your order online or call it in and you'll be given a time to arrive, The door will be open, so no need to touch it. You scan your own card and pick up the order marked with your name. The tables and chairs are pushed against the walls, so there is a large open area to maintain a distance from other customers. Even prior to the health scare this place has been part of my lunch routine, At least twice a week I stop in for take out soup, bagel sandwich, or both, Each morning they post their soup options on Instagram. Wether its for a plain bagel with one of their multitudes of flavored cream cheese, or one of the variety of other flavored bagels, muffins, desserts, ice cream or sandwiches, this place has it all! I go here for the bagels of course. I live a hour away and make the trip to purchase two dozen bagels because they are the best bagels in the State in my opinion. They are so fresh and made daily Monday to Saturday. I can't find a better bagel in the twin cities so I'll drive here for these bagels. They make their own cream cheese as well and it's a perfect compliment you won't be let down. Many flavors to choose from. My go to is the Kitchen Sink bagels basically the everything bagel. I have tried the soups and they were delicious I'm sure the sandwiches are good as well , but have yet to try one. The service was really good I also like that it's family owned. Wow! What a quaint little deli style bagel shop! My co-workers absolutely rave about this place. "Try the Pizza Bagel," "You have to get the Maui Melt," "The jalapeno cream cheese!" I finally made my way over there today on my lunch and had to give it a shot. I took the advice of a colleague and got the Maui Melt on 'The Kitchen Sink' (everything) bagel. It's chicken, ham, pineapple, and two kinds of cheese, toasted until it's gooey, and then wrapped up nice and tight. I also got the mixed fruit. Taste-wise everything was great! The bagel was warm and soft, the insides were melty and delicious, and the fruit was... well it was fruit! But I have to knock a star off just because of the wait. This is like the age old Quizno's vs. Subway debate. Quizno's tastes better, but Subway is quicker. The bagel sandwich I had was amazing, but it seriously took forever from the time that I ordered until the time that I received my food. I had enough time to read through two buzzfeed lists and half of a CNN article on the massive droughts, that's too long. I will definitely be back for a bagel and cream cheese, but when I'm in a rush I won't think twice about skipping over this place and heading to somewhere that is a little more focused on fast. read more

Taking a bite of this boiled treat I was teleported to a world that was dark and vast. I hadn't an idea what to do. But then a hand reached out to me, letting me know I will survive. The gods food shall not have me, for there is more for me to feast apon. I awoke in a room with a cauldron. Smoke pours from the top. When I went in I asked for an egg salad in a container, I can't eat bagels due to a gluten allergy. The first time I went in, it was $1.99; the second time I went in it was $5.99.
