This is a great store to find good deals on chocolate. I like to get the sale after a holiday.

It's smells dangerously chocolately in this store! There are Whitman's samplers, sugar free chocolate chips, Christmas advent calendars, Halloween marshmallow creatures, big boxes of oops (not quite perfect assorted chocolates) and boxes upon boxes of dark chocolate, sea salt, caramel, milk chocolate. I don't know my prices but Regular box was $10.99 with buy three get one free. There were bathrooms and plenty of free parking. There was an area (kitchen) where they could make some chocolates but none were in process when we were there. There is plenty of chocolate to choose from at this store. However, I wonder how fresh it is since there is a whole section with outdated candy from Easter and Christmas - 4 and 8 months ago respectively. There is already Halloween candy packed on the shelves. With Halloween 2 months away, I can't imagine it will taste that good in October. I had hoped to see candy being made in the back of the store. Although no one was making candy, there was a variety of fudge available. With the calorie count by each kind of fudge, it made it easy to not purchase any. It was tempting, though! There's an ice cream counter next to the fudge. There were a couple of families who were purchasing ice cream. Otherwise, the store was empty. No one was buying candy. read more

Saw a sign from interstate of a giant sundae so we stopped. Had no idea this was an outlet candy store! If you like paying less for candy for all the holidays passed, this is your place. They also have new, I'm assuming, candy, ice cream, finder, Carmel apples, etc. or maybe it's from last Halloween...? I don't know but it was delicious. You can buy 3lbs. blooper boxes bogo for $25. Not sure what went wrong that they have pallets and pallets of cases of bloopers boxes but we didn't get diarrhea so I guess it's good still! read more

As you might expect, this store is wall to wall chocolate. It's a little intimidating when you walk inside and see the walls and aisles lined with boxes of so many chocolate options. I didn't have a lot of time, so I was glad to see that there was someone quickly there to help me. She pointed out the different areas of the store and then left me alone to soak it all in and make a decision. When I finally decided I wanted cashews in caramel or chocolate, she was quickly back to show me what my options were. In addition to the walls of boxed chocolates, they have a glass counter displaying all the different items they've made in-house. They also have an ice-cream section where you can have them make your cone or cup exactly to your liking. There's even a few tables and chairs so you can sit down and enjoy it before you leave. I love this place! I hate this place! I love the bloopers and fantabulous deals on supposedly "wrecked" chocolates. I guess it's all right they sell the normal prices stuff too, but outlets I want deals!! Head to the back corner for the PO. Deals galore! Definitely wander the store to get free samples! Free samples! Whee! Join their free club for more deals and be a card carrying chocolate lover. Your dentist and trainer may not approve but life is short! read more

7/4/19 The staff is kind of hit and miss. There is usually a really friendly person working with someone who really seems to dislike the public. It could have been that they were upset to be working on a holiday, but who knows. I still recommend going straight to the blooper section in the back. Those are the best deals. We picked up a few things, had some ice cream and headed on our way. read more

This is only a review for ice cream. I had strawberry and my wife had French vanilla. The ice cream was good but not up to cold stone or Ben and Jerry's standard. There isn't many places around the hotel so it was a nice treat after dinner. read more

If you are even moderately a fan of Russell Stover, this is a fun stop. They have quite a few items that you can't get at your local drug store. Personally, I hadn't seen Strawberry wrapped candies in decades. Along with the traditional mixed boxes, you can make a box or bag filled with just your favorites, or pick a mystery box of "Bloopers" at a nice discount. 1lb boxes of individual favorites are also available (Butter Cream caramel, Roman Nougat, Orange Cream to name a few). Besides chocolate, there are jelly beans. Beanie Babies (not edible). Sugar free candy in all kinds of varieties. In-store dipped caramel apples. Edy's ice cream, umbrellas...and holiday candies of every variety even in the middle of June. Great if you're looking to celebrate Christmas in July! Mostly everything is 'buy two, get one free', so it's a great stop for gift buying. They also have a loyalty program that gives you a free box when you sign up, and were also offering a free box with $30 purchases. read more

They have a good selection of boxed candy here, single piece items, and fancy per lb candy as well. So you can get your choice of candy here, other than that Russell Stover is not my favorite brand and really have never enjoyed it. You prolly get better quality candy at the gas station to be honest. read more

Coming here I definitely felt like a kid in a candy store. I did my best not to get carried away with how much money I spent. I did read some of the other reviews. So I checked the expiration dates. No issues with what I purchased. The two ladies working there were friendly. It can be exhausting looking at everything. I had a fun time but was happy to leave when I did. read more

We stopped here over the 4th of July weekend to try out their "own homemade" hot fudge. A very grumpy, unfriendly employee made us our hot fudge sundae. It was like we were a nuisance. Unfortunately, the sundae didn't make up for her either. The hot fudge tasted old, burnt and was like glue. In addition, the store has a huge selection of chocolates, but buyer beware. The four pieces we selected to try were all well beyond the best before date. After a bite of two, we were done with all four. Would never stop here again. Disappointing all around. read more

I wish I could give this a 3 and a half stars because that is really what I think of it. I will say that their selection was outstanding. If they do not have it Russell Stover's does not make it. We left there with enough chocolate to give anyone diabetes. The downside to this place is, while they did have a lot of items that were either on sale or at a cheaper price than you would find in a regular store, a lot of their items you can get cheaper at your local store than here. The other thing I found I disliked was the staff was not all that friendly. In fact, I think it might of been a stretch to find a pulse on them. I would go back there if/when I am in the area because of all that they had but next time I will be a little more careful to watch what I buy knowing I can get it cheaper elsewhere. read more

A huge shout out to the manager Chris at Russell Stover's candy store. We travel from Iowa to Mpls quite often to see old friends! We like to stop and pick up a sliced caramel apple. You guys have the best. I called to see how late the store was open. I was told they closed at 7. Bummer I thought, no caramel apple tonight! I asked Chris if they would leave me an apple on the picnic table and we would leave the money there. The registers had already been closed out for the night so they could not take my card. She laughed and said they would slice us an apple at no charge and the next time we come thru she wanted us to stop and tell her it was us! That is outstanding customer service! My mom has passed but it was always her favorite stop on the trip! There are still people out there who know how to get the job done and serve the customers. What a sweet gal and her team! If you have never been to the store, stop in! the service of Chris and her team. THE BEST! read more
