It's easy to spot as you roam the terminal weighing your meal options. Naturally one second guesses a heavy, greasy burger before a flight. But the name teases and you have to give them a shot. Ordering via the kiosk is easy but waiting for you meal amid the smells is not. Basking in the aromas only reaffirms you made a wise choice. Then your name is called and you're off to find a spot to sit (or stand, if you're me). Digging in its love at first bite! The burger is well-made, hearty, and bursting with flavor! The fries alongside are the perfect level of crinkle-cut crispy, and the cold beverage washes things down and cleanses the palate for the next round. If you're like me and you have a tough time finding the "right" spot to eat at the airport, heed my advice and give Grindhouse Killer Burgers a shot. It's not necessarily the right meal, but it's the right meal now.

There seemed to be a few restaurants scattered along the concourse, but there was also a sort of food court near the center (as is the case with the larger concourses too). This one had a pizza outlet but we opted for Grindhouse (part of a local Atlanta chain). You order from large menu screens and get a receipt with your order #. Then they eventually call you to the counter to get your food. If you want burgers, they have you covered. We ended up getting fairly small burgers and split an order of fries. Prices were high, but this is the airport so that's expected. They weren't higher than competing places here. I waited on the order while my wife scouted a table. Depending on the time of day, tables can be in short supply, so this was a good strategy. The food came out fairly soon and was good. Within the captive environment of post-security checks at the airport, this is a good option for a pre-flight meal.

The fries were steak fries, expertly done and they weren't stingy. The food was great and for the money it was more than fair. I definitely would go again as well as recommend them. I love that the restaurant is sort of half sports bar and half bar and grill. What I mean by this is that there's a space if you just wanna hang out and do adult things, and space if you want to bring the family and sit down to a meal. there are TVs literally all around the restaurant area. There is not a single angle someone could be sitting at where a television is not viewable. This is great if anyone is, your table is really into the game that's on. No one will ever have to train their neck in this restaurant to check a score. They have tables for all sizes of groups, but what's really great is the role of extra large booths in the center of the restaurant. We had a party of seven-- two adults, two small children, and three teenagers. We fit extremely comfortably in a booth with space to spare. Our waitress was excellent with the children and teens alike. The pacing of the service did lag a bit, but it was fine for us since we were taking the time to catch up. Everyone enjoyed their food. The adults both ordered cocktails off the $3 menu. Those were tasty, but (depending on age) you might do better to upgrade to top shelf alcohol.
