First time coming to this place I live close in the areas and always wanted to stop by. I hate to do this but Only two stars because of the service but the food was worth five!! Walked in and the ambience was pretty nice. Live band an it was pretty busy friday night. Just Came in to order to go, as I ordered I was told it would be 20 mins til the food was ready. We decided to sit at the bar as we waited and get a few drinks, we sat down an the bartender told us she would be right with us an proceed to walk away without even taking away the dirty glasses in front of us from the previous customers. She walked out the door and went to smoke a cigarette, came back inside and walked around a bit to check on her tables and come back to the bar finally asking what did we want. I ordered a tequila sunrise and my partner ordered a jack a coke. She turns around and walks away and proceeded to walk back around tables and start bussing an even at one point was at the to go station at the monitor ringing in orders but not at the bar. By the time our food finally was coming up she still hadn't gotten our drinks even after coming back and forth behind the bar so at that point I told her just forget about the drinks to which she said ok an turned back around an walked back on the floor. Very rude to even acknowledge us properly she finally took the cups an cleaned up when we canceled the drinks. As for the food finally got it I ordered a calzone 3times Anchovies, Italian sausage, an black olives An a small buffalo chicken pizza with lemon pepper wings. We stopped at Anthony's Pizza and Bar around 8 or 9 on a Saturday night. There was no wait at all, and the staff was ready to help as soon as we walked in. We even found a parking spot right in front, which was super convenient. Our food came out quickly....we ordered pizza, wings, fries, and a Philly cheesesteak, plus two Tequila Sunrises. Everything was fresh and really good! The pizza was hot and cheesy, the wings had great flavor, and the Philly hit the spot. The Tequila Sunrises were made just right and paired perfectly with the food. The vibe was laid-back and casual, and the service made the whole experience smooth. Went in to this spot that I hadn't been to in a while. I usually never get Supreme pizza. But, when I go here, there ingredients are so good, I ordered that and some wings. I came here on lunch a few times. Every time the counter people were very nice. They have a couple pool tables in the back. The calzone the first time I went was really good, above average. Perfect amount of cheese to crust ratio and great flavor. Came back the second time and got slices which were just ok and kinda bland flavor but good for the price. I had a deeply upsetting and unprofessional experience at Anthony's Pizza (Riverdale) on Tuesday, January 28 as I've been a long time customer for many years. I placed an online order for pick-up and was overcharged due to an order error. When I raised the issue, the employee at the register dismissed me and loudly accused me of being wrong. Instead of resolving the issue, she escalated the situation, yelling and behaving aggressively. It got worse when the employee's husband/boyfriend came from behind the counter and walked over aggressively to attack me, he also threatened me with physical violence, saying he would "F me up" / "lay me out." I felt genuinely unsafe, especially when another individual backed his threats. The Manager / Owner Anthony "Tony" Brown refused to deescalate the situation as he stood there and said nothing. This was an alarming experience and I hope that no other customer has to go through it. In my professional opinion the employees have "zero" customer service skills and the manager allows such interactions to take place in his establishment without intervening is very concerning. I deem this location as "unsafe" for customers seeing that the employees were comfortable with acting aggressively the way that they did. I can only imagine how other customers are treated. As I indicated to the owner that this could have very well ended badly. After careful consideration I am entertaining the idea of turning this over to counsel. read more

I haven't been here for years but wanted some good pizza other than franchise ones. Nevertheless make a good choice. Greeted when you walk in. Customer service was good was able to place my order didn't feel rushed. Order small (6 slices) and large( 8 slices) Greek pizza and Buffalo Chicken pizza. The place looks good. FYI no kids after 9pm (Thursdays -Saturdays). They have karaoke every Saturday after 9pm. They had about 3 pool tables that I could see. TVs everywhere and a bar. Ordered some chicken Alfredo. Got my food and there's these tiny pieces of chicken. Realized it's canned chicken. Menu says "Chicken breast meat" so yeah, that's how it's labeled on a can of chicken as well. It's highly dishonest, disrespectful, and just price gouging to charge $17 for canned chicken Alfredo. Ahh yes who doesn't love pizza? Though I am a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I take every chance I get to eat at here and I am always completely satisfied. CONSISTENT and EXCELLENT EVERY-TIME! It's fulfilling with just the right amount of each ingredient without it bursting at the seams. I LOVE marinara sauce, so I typically get an extra one to dip in. Notwithstanding, such occurrences really shouldn't put a damper on Anthony's because this restaurant is home to outstanding pizza. For me, one of the true tests of pizza is whether it's delicious fresh out of the oven, cold, and also after being reheated a day later. Anthony's aces that test! I've also tried their shrimp fettuccini alfredo, but the main attraction is undoubtedly their pizza. I'm a fan of the red brick and wood interior that gives this family-oriented pizzeria a classic look and feel. As a family-oriented restaurant, Anthony's features several pool tables, a few arcade machines, and an air hockey table. Moreover, it's also a family-operated business; seeing the underage kid working the register reminds me of my own formative years of "indentured servitude" working at my parents' restaurant. Now that I mention it, I should tip that kid the next time I visit. Ideally, discovering and supporting local businesses is what yelp is all about, and so I encourage others in the area to patronize Anthony's Pizza & Pasta. I was absolutely impressed with Anthony's Pizza. Being from New York you have to have a reeeaally good slice for me to say this is great pizza. Doesn't taste boxed, doesn't taste old. Almost has that brick oven flavor with NY real mozzarella taste. Their wings were delicious as well. Not those premature baby chick wings that you find in other restaurants. The Teriyaki and lemon pepper were of my favorites. On top of everything the service there is great. Audrey made sure our food was prepared to our exact liking and made sure we were completely satisfied. She has very good work ethics and relational skills. Lastly, the restaurant is newly renovated with beautiful floors, gaming and pool table area, it host music nights and has a sports bar feel in an adjacent area. I have been a regular customer at Anthony's Pizza on Ga Hwy 85 in Riverdale for more than 10 yrs. I visited the establishment more than a month ago and noticed that none of the employees including those in the kitchen were wearing protective masks. I thought that at that time they might not be aware the the dangers of the Covid-19 virus. However, just last week I went back to the establishment and still no employees were wearing masks. I've lived in Riverdale for 3 months and have eaten here 4 times. It's quickly become one of our favorites. The prices are reasonable and the portions are great. Everything has always tasted great and is exactly as ordered without error. They make subitutions (broccoli instead of chicken, garlic bread instead of knots, etc) without nickle and diming you. Everyone is always kind on the phone and in-person. Their UberEats is updated, clear, and has all of the necessary information without altered pricing. So far we've tasted the fettuccine alfredo, garlic knots, garlic bread, lasagna, caesar salad, cheese sticks, fries, steak & cheese sub, and brownies. All are delicious. The cheese bread was very awesome although we had to request"the green stuff" lol...you mean oregano the employee said then finally brought oregano, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes which we thought we shouldn't have to ask for. Pizza pretty pricey for the taste...not bad are the thoughts that you will have. Also had the eggplant parmesan to which everyone at the table commented that mine was much better (insert Pat on the back, lol). They do have pool, air hockey, and arcade games which is good for kids while waiting for the food.
