Yeah the food was good too, but this blackberry bourbon sour made by the lovely young lady bartender (I wish I could remember her name) was excellent! It had crushed up blackberry in the actual drink and as a garnish, which I absolutely loved and actually the little crushed up blackberries in the drink were a surprise. I did have a cobb salad as well this time and it was scrumptious. I I appreciated the conversation with the bartender and the employees as well. I ordered online and went inside to pick up the food. They were extremely busy with the dine-in guests and lots of carry out orders. Although they were busy, the staff was kind and efficient. The bbq chicken pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had!! The ingredients tasted fresh and the crust was unbelievable! It even tasted great when reheating it in the microwave(although it's better when you follow the directions on the box for oven heating). My wife also liked her pizza with the gluten free crust. The Thai wings were pretty good, but I was not a fan of the Caribbean wings. The only real issue with mellow mushroom is the prices. After 20 minutes of me being 3 rd in line and the first and second groups had been seated, I asked if I was next and why the app didn't update. The hostess told me the App wasn't working and sat me immediately! So, had I not inquired about my seating, I would still be waiting. And the seats that we were escorted to were the same open seats that were available when we initially arrived. After that service and the food was great. Our waiter was friendly and polite, I ordered the Wings and Buffalo chicken. The wings were juicy with a kick of heat. The pizzas crust was flavorful, fluffy and had a nice crispy to it. However the chicken felt rubbery and dry. The pizza didn't taste like buffalo but the cheese was very cheesy. Dinner for 3 adults and two tiny tots, and the only picture I took was of the cool mural above the kitchen. We got seated quickly (would've been a wait if we'd insisted on a booth). The food was just okay. We had 4 different pizzas on the table. The best was the Great White and the worst was a build your own situation that hubby came up with in an attempt to avoid consuming cheese. While there, I checked in on yelp and was surprised to see that we'd get a free appetizer for the check in. Our server was unfamiliar and called in reinforcements. We eventually ended up with the manager coming over to tell us that they have no knowledge of, and do not honor, yelp coupons. It was a disappointing end to a short-lived high. There hasn't been a pizza ordered I didn't like. I ordered the House Special and add more toppings for delight. The pineapple drink is a refreshing drink but ask for little ice. I know it's a pizza place but forget everything you know abt wings from a pizza place--GET THE NAKED WINGS! Oven roasted wings with no sauce...yummy! They are flats and drums and considered an appetizer so if you're hungry get the full order, for sure! Oven roasted so not fried but the seasoning itself makes you forget all abt it being healthy-ish. I went with the personal size veg out pizza and coupled with the wings and it was plenty...I carried two slices home. The service was good. Not one complaint. We were directed to the hostess stand and the hostess was super accommodating as we have a toddler and dining out can sometimes be an adventure, so booths and high chairs are a must to contain the non-stop party rocking. Setting is casual. Cool decor that is very colorful so if you have sensory issues that may cause concern, otherwise it's pretty groovy to look at. There was a balloon artist there who worked off tips and came around making balloon art at each table...a first for me...I think it added to the colorful environment quite nicely.
