I visited the salon today and had an appointment with Clarissa Beas and I am absolutely in love with my new cut and color! Stylist: Clarissa Beas is an amazing stylist. I sent her pictures and discussed with her what I was looking for and my results were beyond what I imagined. She is young, hip, listens to what her clients wants and executes the job fabulously! Clarissa is amazingly talented and her prices are beyond reasonable! She mainly takes clients by appointment but will except walkins if she is there. I highly recommend her services! Salon: The salon has been there for over 20 years. It is tucked away in old town Placentia next to a delicious Mexican restaurant. The only downfall is the sign is hard to see and if you blink you will miss the shop When I got inside I discovered a cute, eclectic and funky antique shop/hair salon. The shop is fun and interesting. The only improvement that could be made is better signage. Do yourself a favor and book Clarissa Beas for your next hairstyling appointment. read more

My whole life i loved my hair so much i was afraid to cut it. I would always just have my dad do a straight across trim. After loosing 35 pounds and truing 21 I decided i should work on changing something. So why not do something that I consider drastic and cut/color my hair. I set up an appointment with Clarissa Beas. She seemed to understand how difficult cutting and coloring my hair was for me. We ended up cutting off between 7 to 9 inches off. I almost had a heart attach. I got some highlights as well. She was so good about the timing that they look like they are natural. We dyed about 5-6 inches of my tips purple. I was so nervous about all of this. Clarissa Beas was nice enough to talk me through everything and try to keep me calm. At the end of everything she even curled my hair for me. When i looked in the mirror I was so surprised. This was me?! I was so shocked at how beautiful i looked. I felt so good about myself. It was the first time in years I felt like I had so much confidence. I have been in another 3 times after that. Once to go from purple to blue. Another time in a panic to go from blue to as close to my natural hair color as possible for an interview. Then just last week for a touch up on the highlights and a trim. No matter what i go in for I always leave feeling confidant in myself and loving what she has done with my hair. I hate to be the one to post a bad review here but I have to based on my last hair dye experience with Clarissa. This was my second time dying my hair with her and she's super nice but I'm very disappointed with how it came out because it does not look like the pictures I showed her. I wanted balayage and my whole hair came out blonde! It's more like a yellow blonde.. It's definetly not what I asked for so I scheduled an appointment with another hair stylist to fix my hair. It was a waste of money and 4 hours so I will not be a returning customer. If you just want one solid color for your hair, Clarissa will do a good job but if you're looking for balayage, I highly recommend going to someone else. read more

This little salon is the cutest salon ever. When you walk in it feels like your a little kid in the 50's. I always make my appointments with Clarissa, she has done my hair numerous times and she never disappoints me. She really does care about every client that walks in the door and is so helpful with every question that I have. Why walk into a hair salon that's a little cheaper but has no real knowledge of hair, nails and skin. Clarissa is reasonably priced and very flexible on scheduling. Clarissa Beas is absolutely wonderful! I have brought my whole family to her and have kept coming. My husband has never found someone to keep coming back to until her. She just did my sons hair and he looks adorable. Every stylist that has cut my sons hair overlooks my mentioning of his two cowlicks on the top of his head and they cut it too short. Clarissa did my hair for my wedding and she was amazing! She is so helpful and knows so much. She does a nice thing for brides looking to get their hair done from her by doing a consultation before your wedding day so if you need anything changed whether it was more hairspray or tighter of a style the day of the wedding you knew instead of finding out halfway through your wedding when it is too late. She understands that day is going to be stressful and the last thing you want to do is be fixing your hair. She also did my mothers hair (which isnt an easy task cuz she has thin hair) and a couple of my bridesmaids! As well as her work number she prefers is her cell so if you have any questions or want to set up appointment all you have to do is text her! How convienent! I had my hair touched up yesterday with Clarissa. I've been going to her for sometime now and am very pleased.I'm not always the easiest client , as a lot of the time I'm not sure exactly what I want to do.She is very patient and doesn't make me feel pressured. She takes the time to go over the pros and cons of a certain hair style or color and I appreciate that. Also she is very nice. I can't go without mentioning Mr Mario, the owner.
