Today I was driving on 5th Street NW next to an SUV with a cruiser following on my left lane. I had my window down and we stopped at a red light I looked over and the officer nodded. I had a bb gun in my hand. later as I was detained for questioning she asked me about a gun I told her yeah I had a pellet pistol and pointed it at the dirt in front of his car, pointed it at the dirt, oh did I say that. I told her the bb gun was on the seat of my Silverado, but being the fine police specimen she is she refused to look. Instead she arrested me the one who called 911 for help at the age of 66 I was thrown in jail. the problem is is that APD gives any POS a gun and says go enforce the law and it was pretty obvious that this young Asian lady was about the dumbest police officer I ever met. conclusion, if you get in trouble and need help in Albuquerque do not call 911 or eve 242-cops.

The scowl on the female employee is ridiculous. Today there is a tape dispenser right next to credit card machine but it was empty. I needed about an inch and half piece and the agent told me it was $8.00 I laughed and she proceeded to scan a small roll of tape, I told her I thought she was joking and she said and I quote "tape has never been free, there are cameras and I don't own the place". I said wow over the last 10 years if I needed a tiny piece of tape it was provided. She then said that's why the ever always so kind gentleman wasn't there and she was and told me sarcasm was uncalled for because I said he was always kind and helpful, SHAME ON HIM. Seriously can't believe the cost of shipping to be treated like they are providing free services to the public. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Broadway location. More than one miserable agent working and they are actually open the hours that are posted. I always give people the benefit of doubt, maybe she's having a bad day... this is the 3rd time I've been here in the last 30 days and I think she's gotten more hateful. I originally found an online post about this wood carving back in, say, 2012, researching funky, unique landmarks in the 505, and the next day I went on a hunt to find it. Sure enough, tucked away in a corner of the asphalt, this gorgeous little work of art sat, unloved. Several years ago the church moved it to a prominent spot on the property. Go to the northwest corner of North Plaza st and San Felipe and you'll see a colorful, hand carved stump featuring Our Lady of Guadalupe, grab a selfie, it's a great backdrop. Word has it that in 1970, a parishioner carved this icon into the heart of the tree. I'm happy it's back, and glad disco remains buried.

Then the three men hanging around the entrance. I was parked in a lot that required payment. I tried to pay but failed. Inside, a lady was extremely helpful with me looking at old copies of the Albuquerque Journal. When I returned to the Parking, I had a ticket. I immediately called the out of state phone number telling them the text system didn't work and I offered to pay the $6. Very quickly she told me to call Disputes and hung up. So I went back to talk to the people at the Main Desk about how confusing the parking was for a first time visitor. Zero customer service, helpfulness or give a darn. Only in a library, could you treat customers like this and remain in business!!!!!
