Come here often. Place is a hole in the wall with strong cigarette smells, but a cool bunch of bartenders. The star of the show here is on MONDAYS. I don't care for the food the bar has, but on Mondays they have a Nate! He owns his own burger grill business and you have to come have them. They're homemade burgers, no frills or crazy unnecessary ingredients. A marinated and seasoned to perfection burger with fresh ingredients. I ordered a steak on steak night. I paid for it before it was served. They told me that they would bring it to me. Just sit down anywhere. Thirty minutes later the steak arrived. The steak was cold -- not under cooked, cold. It was as if the steak was put into a refrigerator before it was served to me. I complained. Instead of giving me a replacement, or even offering to heat that steak up, I was promised that it wouldn't happen again. Truer words have never been spoken. It won't happen again. I've passed by this pub numerous times but never visited until one Sunday when they were having a St. Patty's day pre-party with a DJ and crawfish on the patio. It's actually a pretty cool place that is larger than it looks from the outside. There are numerous rooms, sitting areas, bars and places to lounge, and drink. One drawback for me was smoking which is still allowed inside, but it wasn't very strong at least. I was able to sit on the patio since it was a nice day outside. They serve hot food, which is a plus with more than typical bar food, like Shepherds Pie. Prices are reasonable, crowd is friendly, bartenders are nice. What more can you ask for? read more

English pub vibe. They do have a huge, nice patio. I was kind of shocked at how cheap the prices are here and the main basis for my high rating. I would love to have a place this cheap near my home. I'm talking beer that was $3.75 and shots that were $6 cheap. They have pool tables and shuffleboard. It wasn't too crowded on a Friday night. Lots of TVs. Great staff. Good location. Its basically a neighborhood bar. Nothing fancy or worth getting dressed up for. Just a low key cheap place that isn't trashy. read more

We were on our way to a free concert, and decided to meet some out of town family there prior to going to the show. Low staff, and the kitchen is ran and paid for by a separate company inside of the bar. Great food by the way, everyone was Definitely satisfied. Come for the crawfish on Sunday!!!! $6 per pound and you get sausage, potatoes, corn and sauces. Its delicious, the catering company who comes in to make it is super nice and the size was decent! This is a hidden gem on the Northwest side. I came across this bar while in search of a good steak night that didn't require driving into the city. The location looks small and unassuming from the outside up once inside it reveals a tremendous amount of space. The steak night on Wednesday was very good. Even better? My husband aI wasn't out for a few drinks and possibly a bite to eat on a Thursday night.We seen this place,and we stopped in.we had to wait until the he waitress decided to finish her conversation with a regular she called by name then she got our drinks.We had to go in to order our food/Nachos with old chips,and big burger with a big frozen patty.The burger had toasted buns,and fresh cut veggies so that was nice.The drinks didn't taste good,12:15 they cut off the music,but they said they close at 2:00am.We won't be back there. read more

Make sure Ducky is your bartender because he is really nice. I have been here several times and like the place. It's a dive but fun! We ordered Southwest Egg Roles and Irish Nachos. They were typical bar food and pretty good. It is a local bar that is very welcoming and fun. read more

Love this place, hate that it's smoking. If this place was non-smoking, we would be here every night of the week. Since it is smoking, and so smoky you have to wash your clothes/hair immediately after being here, we save it for the weekend-and only times we can go immediately home to shower-the smoke is that bad. If it were non-smoking, I'd give this place 5 stars for being a perfect dive bar. Alas...this isn't a place we are able to visit very often-cigarette smoke is just too gross. read more

The name fits this place perfectly. Walking in is kind of dinky and run down but it smelled good outside. I was not expecting anything since it's a pub but I came in for steak night since a friend wanted to try. It took 20 minutes for the server to come by and talk to me. This is not TOO horrible.. but she walked to EACH of her tables before we had to literally flag her down. She did not really know her way around the menu and specials and barely checked up on us during our time there. They brought the food out to half the table saying they were cooking the other half.. 30 minutes later.. where's the rest? Nowhere. What the #$CK? I did not get to eat any steak because I did not want to wait another hour after being there for an hour and a half. From what I HEARD from my friends who got their food. The steak/salmon tasted frozen and lacked flavor. I would love to write a review about their food, but they make getting food harder than squeezing water from a rock. Did we get an apology? No, that would be asking too much. I will never come back. read more

5 Stars for Steak Night on Wednesdays! For $13 you get a nicely grilled steak with two sides. I chose the spinach and loaded mashed potatoes which were both good. The steak was so great, especially considering the price you pay! You definitely get more than what you pay for, in my opinion - no steak sauce necessary! The bartender was also very friendly and comfortable to talk to. Keep an eye out for Manny Pacquiao! ;) My only regret is that I lived literally walking distance from here for over a year and a half and came to this place only a week before having to move! read more

It has a little edge to it My friends and I have been frequenting there past month but I would like to say There are two bartenders in particular that have nasty attitudes in witnessing it myself " they think it's ok to yell at someone " or complain constantly about they hate people well then make a living doing some thing else , that your good at because bartending isn't your fortune, even if your been doing it for years you should know better . There is a women of white decent , she is old short and overweight to be having such a NASTY attitude she can't keep up with her surroundings I would suggest the owner which is close fri and manager look into it , putting your dirty hand in the glass to take ice out is disgusting and not sanitary with covid , it's not a good look for business . read more

Whatever you do, don't bother coming here on a Sunday afternoon. Santana's was wonderful, as always but the bartender left so very much to be desired. We come here a couple times a month and have never had issues on any other day. They appear to reserve Sunday's for the " I wish I didn't work here" crowd. Poor service, rude. read more

Sigh....sucked balls! Ordered a philly cheesesteak and the cheese wasn't even melted and it was cold as ice, curly fries were hard as a rock! The chef even came out and looked at me when I complained about it! Everyone else's food was cold as well...went on a Thursday night and it was dead as a door nail.....this place used to be poppin. Great place, comfortable atmosphere. I've only been there once, but it was a great experience. It was busy, but not packed. Plenty of seating and pleasant staff. Almost no waits at the bar. My wife and I sat on the patio for a while then went inside and found a quiet, cozy corner with comfortable chairs. It seemed like there were a lot of secluded areas for relaxed conversation. Owned by the same folks as Molly's (Woodlands), Molly Macguire's (Kurkendahl) and Molly Malone's (Louetta, I think), so you know the price is right, the crowd is younger (at night), the music gets loud, and the party gets crazy. Like visiting an old dirty uncle's house, dusty, smoky, poorly kept and obviously the AC doesn't work all that well. They have taken care of buddies well apparently as they're regulars and rave about trivia night. It's the same $h!thole I remember from when I lived in Klein, and now in even worse condition. Bathrooms were dirty, they still allow smoking indoors, and the beer isn't as cheap as I was promised. I don't care for the low ceilings, cramped quarters, lack of adequate air conditioning, and the trashy wait staff. Food was typical fried bar food, not bad but nothing to write home about either. And strangely unlike most bars they'll hold your credit card until you cash out, and had trouble finding mine but did eventually sort that out. I wish I had something nicer to say I really don't, I've never liked this place and I guess I never will. read more

These reviewers have lost their minds. This place has one of the best burgers in the entire Houston area. It's dank, and yeah maybe some of the employees have drug problems. I only care for my burger. The curly frys are some of the best, and the other sandwich I've tried was also real impressive for bar food. Bar has a strange lay out, and porch.
