Nothing looked updated or different, and after a thorough review of the aisles, they seem to have the same standard health food store type items. Definitely some new brands, but mostly the same offerings. One thing I'm seeing a lot more of these days for the health conscious is a focus on added protein and or fiber. I specifically sought out high fiber and high protein, products, and there weren't that many to be honest. A lot of companies are adding one or both of these to their standard products or creating new products to fit this trend, but there wasn't a lot at natural grocers to fit this category. The staff was friendly as usual. I was asked as I was browsing if I needed any help finding anything, and when it was clear that there were a couple of us waiting in line for the one checkout lane they had open, they opened a second one. Very friendly employees, and my interactions with them were pleasant. The interior could use a little refresh. Nothing looked dirty, but the store does look a little dated. I'm not sure what it is about health food stores or sections, but they all tend to smell the same. Not a bad smell, but kind of earthy? I'm not sure anything could be done about that.
