I frequently go to the Grind since it is the perfect study spot if you're in the area, and the vibes are truly the best for a productive morning. The decor is warm and homey while remaining cute and trendy. Their seasonal decorations are always adorable, and the ambience is perfect if you are looking to study with friends, telework solo, or maybe grab a coffee date. They also have a virtual kiosk and options for your drink to be ordered in advance and brought to your table, which is an introvert's dream. I have never been disappointed with drinks from the Grind, and I most recently purchased the French toast iced latte, which was phenomenal! It was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as I do all of their drink options! The English muffin sandwich was good but their menu items are pricey and not necessarily worth it, not that they aren't good, just nothing to write home about as far as the sandwiches. I've been twice now. I enjoyed both time. The first I ordered to go as it was very busy and there wasn't a place to sit, but the second I got to sit and stay a while! The first drink I tried was the matcha, it wasn't very "fresh" tasting, almost like it was a mix, but it was good. The next time I got a chai and the avocado toast with tomato confit. I ended up with a grove juice and avocado toast. I wasn't a big fan of the toast, it was more bready and I prefer a different type of tomato for avo toast, but it did the job. I was seated next to two ladies chatting, and I was a little too close for comfort, I wish I had my headphones. The kiosk ordering is different, but easy to figure out. Ample parking in the strip. I really liked the atmosphere in this establishment. It smelled of cinnamon and warmth as soon as you walked in. I'm in LOVE with the leaves around the sign for fall. Their fall menu is also pretty expansive, making sure everyone has a fall treat in mind. The chai was popular and they ran out half way through the day but there were so many things I wanted to try so it didn't bother me! I will say my only concern regarding this location would be the lack of space for those who are waiting for their ordered drinks. Wow, what a cute spot! I visited Saturday morning with my mom and sister. It was busy, but not chaotically so. All orders are placed using a kiosk or QR code found on your table, and the shop is cashless. I had an absolutely delicious hot cafe miel, which was essentially an almond milk latte with vanilla, cinnamon, and honey flavors. I'm not usually a latte person, but this was fantastic. I also had the sausage egg and cheese breakfast burrito. The burritos were good, not great, but they did the trick! This is a tiny cafe that's probably a local favorite. Curiously, a long hallway is connected to the business next door. It's difficult to determine what the business is, but the poorly designed sign indicates some kind of studios. There's a barbershop, but no clue why everything is connected. Anyway, the coffee house was very loud with background music and noisy patrons when I was there. It became noticeably quieter when a family group left. My first impression wasn't great because the ordering computer, although seemingly simple, didn't work for me. No doubt user error. There were two people working the counter and I had to actually wave to get their attention. I ordered a flat white and coffee cake from the barista instead of the computer. Both were very tasty. The coffee cake was a standard cinnamon crunch topped cake, slightly warm and not over nuked to dryness. The flat white was also good. Not every coffee place features them, so I was glad to try it. There's room for maybe 30 people, with small tables, bar seating with backs to the chairs and an alcove in the back with room for a group. The drinks and food menu is diverse enough for such a small place. I think it would be helpful if the baristas were more aware of incoming patrons, but if I lived close, I would probably be a regular. read more

This is a really cute little coffee shop in Elkhorn. Unfortunately I've only been able to get over there one time, so I'd love to update my review after future visits, but here's what I have to say for now: I found the diversity in ordering methods to be a little bit overwhelming for my first time - though I do genuinely appreciate that you can kind of decide whether or not you want a lot of human interaction that day LOL .. But as a coffee passport customer for this first visit, it was a little bit weird having to wait for staff to notice that I wasn't going to be ordering on the kiosk since I needed my stamp and payment processed differently. In addition to having multiple methods of ordering, it just made it a little bit trickier to mentally take stock of how long my order might take to be delivered. Unfortunately I had three kids in tow this day and our wait was much longer than I anticipated because they were online orders coming in that I didn't realize were being worked on since we had been the only ones I'd physically seen place an order at the bar. Forgot to write up a review on the same day that I visited, so honestly I can't remember exactly what I got and it wasn't a memorable enough drink for me to rave about it unfortunately. I think I would definitely return if I'm in the area again, and just plan for a time when I have a little bit more flexibility to sit and enjoy the cute space. read more

I was excited to try a new coffee shop this Saturday morning and I loved the look and atmosphere of this place. I walk in and instantly felt unwelcome. There was 3 girls working and not one said hi or looked at me. I wasn't sure how to order, or what to order. There was a group of 3 girls that came in after me and the girls that were working tended to them after I was standing there for 5 mins. I go to a coffee shop for the experience. My coffee was good, but I will not be back. As a barista for 3 years, customer service is #1 priority. Even if you are having a bad day, or don't get enough sleep. Plenty of parking and there is a front section that is meant for temporary sitting and back section that is meant for people to post up and do meetings and a lot of work on a laptop. Additionally their ordering process is simple. You can QR code at your seat and then they deliver it to you. Everything is touchless which is nice given we are in the winter season. Cozy - The ambiance of the place is cozy with its pleasant light colors and comfortable seating that make you feel at home. It has a slight Midwest touch with Magnolia Farms Joanna Gaines type vibes. The environment is super clean and perfect for working, having conversations, or catching up with friends. Peppermint - i had the peppermint mocha, which was pretty amazing; the flavor, the presentation, and the price point were all first class. I do think the food was a bit on the steep end so we didn't try any but the drinks seemed averagely priced. I really liked this coffee house that's located in Elkhorn /west Omaha. They have mobile ordering that makes it quick and easy, and they include customization of drinks so you get exactly what you want. You can either order "in house" which comes in a 16 ounce mug, or regular which comes in a single use disposable cup. I had the matcha latte with oat milk at half sweet, which was great! The vanilla really comes through. I'm glad I went half sweet, as anything more would have been overkill. I also ordered the eggs on toast with wasabi topping which was served warm, but the eggs were a tad rubbery and dry which messed with the texture and overall enjoyment. The inside is also great with lots of seating areas that are actually comfortable. We went at peak time on Saturday, and due to the crowds, it was very loud. I couldn't see this as a great study hangout, but would be great as a meet up with friends. Overall, cool spot! read more

Cute little place in Elkhorn! Seems like a great place to sit and do some work but I was just stopping by. This place only has contactless ordering, so two ordering kiosks and then QR codes at every table. The kiosks were actually super easy to order off of and allowed you to customize your drink however you want! The menu was pretty big too with some great looking food options. I ordered a caramel latte and a peach mango refresher! Latte was super strong in the coffee flavor but the refresher tasted just like a Peachy-O. The Grind is a total west Omaha gem. Perfect for a small group, the menu has amazing options and the coffee was delicious! We had the spiced chai, and the brown sugar cinnamon latte. Both were tasty, a perfect temperature, and the insulated to go cup keeps it all warm. I loved that you order on your own and a later, oversized touch screen! Super cool to see all the options and get it taken care of. Then they call your name, or bring it to you when it's ready! We will definitely be back for the food too! We ordered the bacon, egg and cheese bites and they were so tasty. My husband had the cinnamon coffee cake warmed up, and he said he'd definitely order again! They also had options for kids! So they have the advantage of that. It's not that they're not hustling, it's just that the system to get drinks out is not efficient.
