I felt it was so odd that I was even asked. when I said I could not they had a maintenance person come out the following day so we were without for the night and next am. We were offered the unit next door but it smelled so bad, was not clean nor was it updated at all. Upon our arrival there was also a huge stain on the carpet outside the lower level bathroom and a fan was on the carpet to dry it . We should have been notified of this situation. It was unacceptable that if the toliet overflowed that it was not professional cleaned prior to our arrival . When I brought this to the manger on duty's attention they did not even know about it. We were offered the unit next door but it smelled so bad, was not clean nor was it updated at all so we passed. We did not have time to move due to the wedding obligations or I would have ! To make matters worse the next morning I saw what looked very much like a cock roach and was horrified. Mid day the second day they sent an exterminator that claimed it was not a cock roach but I beg to differ. We never used this bathroom nor the bedroom downstairs after the first night. No one reached out to us again apologizing or offering any type of discount for all the inconveniences . I would never recommend this unit or working with Keefe real estate .

For my daughter's last Spring Break trip before she graduates college we did a quick girls' getaway and I booked a one bedroom suite at the Cove. (We would have been fine in one of the studios but the one bedroom wasn't much more.) It was perfect! Much more roomy than a hotel and the location can't be beat. It's on Center Street in the heart of downtown and very walkable. Basically across the street from the lake! We didn't have to move our car very much which was super convenient. The unit had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to basic toiletries and we loved the large hottub next to the indoor pool. They also have an outdoor pool for the warmer months. The unit itself was spacious and we loved the big bathroom and jacuzzi tub! And a fireplace! Plenty of parking and Jennifer at the front desk was nice and very helpful. The only issue we had was that two of the three lamps in our living area didn't have working light bulbs. It made evenings dark. Seems like that's something that should be checked. Anyway, I think this has to be my new go to spot when we're in town.

The servers were very experienced with this type of ordering and split the tables amongst a few of them. Our food and drinks were served very quickly. The servers were also super friendly and very attentive. I tried the chicken sandwich and it came with very interesting wedge type of fry. Overall, everyone seemed very happy with their food. Everything tasted great. Next time I'm in Lake Geneva, I'm going to give it a try as it looked like their main menu had a lot of choices and options.

Also if you plan on talking louder than a soft whisper except to get a phone call from Debi cause the child care / church that is next door doesn't want it to be loud. The pictures are very deceptive on not showing you that there is a child's jungle gym one foot over the fence of your yard. So if you plan on going to the nautical inn just don't and plan somewhere else.

Hell, I would have rather camped out. Alright, enough about the house. I'll move on to the owner's classic example of a bait and switch. About an hour after we arrived, the owner informed us that her pontoon boat was having mechanical issues. The owner then informed us that she had found another pontoon boat for us to rent. We then were told that we could rent the same sized boat for the same price but for 2 hours less. When we questioned the fact that we weren't going to get what we had agreed upon she became angry and threatened to cancel the whole thing. I have a few questions. Does the Nautical Inn owner even own a boat? Is this a scam she runs on all her customers? Why did we have to pay of her misfortune? After spending so much money and time traveling for something you were promised, you would think she would have made things right. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When all said and done...don't waste your time, money, and special occasion at the Nautical Inn. Best, Unsatisfied Customer

We had breakfast at the restaurant, it was just perfect we adjusted to our European taste. They accommodate us. With fresh orange juice squeezed, black coffee, decaf tea . Granola. Oats, berries and honey for my husband. Toast with butter and jam for me. Just perfect with full panoramic views of the lake! Nights dinner at the restaurant very good service, food could use a little bit of a more refined hand . Overall very nice. Most importantly everyone is so committed to the hotel. I forgot about the lack of oven and bought frozen pizza, so don't be like me! The arcade is way too overpriced. I came to realize that you're paying $10 for each Virtual reality ride. Most of the games cost a couple bucks each. It would be better if you could get a card that worked unlimited for an hour. I think between my husband and I re-upping our cards, we spent $500 at the arcade & bowling alley over 3 days. My kids did love the mini bowling lanes, but again at $6/player/ game, it added up quickly. I didn't feel that the room was that outdated. I loved the big whirlpool tub, but one of the jet covers would fly off any time we turned it on. All in all, I'd return but mostly because I want to go to the nearby Safari when it's open for summer.
