Out of the three, Sky Lodge has been the BEST! Staff have been friendly and welcoming! Rooms are a good size! We had stayed here previously several years ago (2006) when Hotel was named something else. I do have to say the place has been well taken care of!

I went to plug in a light, and the socket blew out sparks. There was trash in the trash bins already. Water felt slimey and smelled like well water, but it did the job. Had to pull out furniture to plug in lights. Now, this can be all attributed to possibly the room being renovated. But we asked for extra towels and never got them until my daughter's fiance went to get them. He said that the staff was very unhelpful. He had to walk in to get the towels himself. The breakfast is a joke. No hot foods. Two cereals and some packaged muffins.

We had to walk to the front office and get the new sheets to make the bed ourselves. When we started removing the sheets from the bed we noticed a massive blood stain on the mattress pad. After walking to the office again to retrieve a new mattress pad we began making the bed ourselves and realized another blood stain on this mattress pad. We were extremely upset and requested a full refund but she declined and could only offer us a 2 hour extended check out time. This occurred at 10:00pm on New Years Eve and we were not able to find somewhere else to stay that matched the price. I do not recommend this place and will not be staying here again.

The burger was medium-rare as ordered and well constructed. Great taste. The fries were hot, and had the right amount of salt. The brisket sandwich was good, but the meat was skimpy for the size of the bun. The soup was good. Not much impressed with the service. There was one person running several tables. Felt like they were new and didn't know much about the menu items or the drinks. Did check on us once after serving our food, but that was it. Had to flag them down for another drink, extra napkins and the bill. A good experience, but nothing that inspired us to want to come back soon.

We'll, God more than delivered - the northern lights occupied the entire west side facing lake Como, with an intensity that the lights were visible to the naked eye. All we had to do was walk out of our patio. The hotel itself has a minimalist modern Scandinavian chic presence which I like a lot. The staff is more than impeccable especially the front desk manager Anna Simms. The grounds are beautiful overlooking lake Como. It's close to downtown lake Geneva. Oh did I mention the Northern Lights?

They offered us a late check-out, one free night for future use, or a gift card for the restaurant (that was not open).
