I've been getting massages my whole life... I have chronic back pain. I came to find Oleg, after having gone once to maybe a dozen massages in Miami. My best friend and I were having brunch and found a Groupon. And went. Reading the reviews commenting about the building and the location and such... it reminded me, that I too was skeptical and not very excited to go. I have completed forgotten these feelings... Oleg is a gifted massage therapist. He is a kind, intelligent and passionate person with true knowledge of the body and he is... most definitely the best massage I have ever had. He pays attention and knows what he is doing. It is... like some others have written a physical and therapeutic experience. It is not a zen, relaxing massage where you leave feeling you did not get yours moneys worth! It is amazing! I thank him every time I go. He does a complete 90 minutes of healing and stretching and pin pointing pain. I am surprised he has not asked me for a review. I have been going every two weeks for years now. And I am very saddened when my traveling schedule delays my appointments. I read the negative review. I am sorry to see it. As this man does not deserve this harsh review. This is why I decided to write this. Because hopefully by reading mine, it will counter weigh her dismissive words and criticism. I was a little skeptical about therapeutic massage for my severe neuropathic pain from a herniated disc but Oleg was AMAZING. Absolutely worst experience Attempted to schedule an appointment via text Was told needed to pay additional $ to secure I would show up to the appointment ( in other words Just in case you miss the appointment I'll charge you extra). Haha Also added I needed to contact after Feb 15 due to Having sold 60 groupon's & people weren't serious about appointments. What? I'm trying to schedule a time! Then preceded to say I was new to this country (Funny, I'm American) he went on & on Don't waste your time & energy, You'll need to sage after the message To cleans all the negative energy! My boyfriend and I both had massages here. I booked because of the great reviews on Groupon but I was a bit skeptical when we arrived because of the location, it's in an old building and Oleg has to come down in the elevator to get you because you need a fob to use the elevator. I would have taken away one star for this but the massage was so good that it made the location irrelevant. It's a very different type of massage, a lot of pressure and deep tissue along with stretching. It's not a relaxing massage and definitely not for the faint hearted. But it's definitely healing and just what we needed. Oleg is clearly passionate about what he does and we'll definitely be back. read more
