Avi was very targeted with medical/sports technique, handled every area of concern. He addressed the rest of my body as well, was professional and kind with good rapport and excellent hands. Deep pressure, mostly felt amazing. A few times in problem areas it was hard to take but that's how medical massage is, a bit like physical therapy. I received a gift card for my birthday last year and was out of state for most of the year and could not redeem the gift card in Miami. I was also dealing with health issues that would be negatively affected by a massage. I was in no rush to redeem the gift card since the receipt said that the gift card does not expire. The owner was very rude and called me a "liar". He does not honor gift cards that explicitly state ON AN EMAIL RECEIPT under the TERMS AND CONDITIONS that "the gift card does not expire". He did not offer any refund or even a discount or an apology - just a straight "no". I am unsure why a man would do business with a third party vendor knowing damn well the third party vendor sends emails to customers stating that a gift card "does not expire" in its terms and conditions. This will NOT be your froofroo massage just having lotion rubbed on you- he will find every area of tension and ever knot and subtly work away at it and the surrounding areas to dissolve what ever you've been holding on to! Best massages we've ever had. I called them up on our last day in Miami and was able to squeeze in an appointment for a couples massage. Avi, the business owner, took my call and was super professional and booking a time slot was easy and seamless. My girlfriend had Alejandro, and I had Avi. Avi was extremely skilled and gave me a deep tissue massage that was honestly painful, but absolutely necessary to cure all of the knots and tensions that my body has accumulated. I could feel the blood flowing to my limbs immediately after he worked on it. He also gave me lots of feedback about my body throughout the massage. Very accommodating for travelers last minute booking a massage! I called wanting a couples massage and the owner went out of his way to arrange for staff to come in to accommodate my time frame. I work out a lot and spend a lot of time on the computer like many others. Although i practice plenty of yoga and consider myself to be flexible and well stretched i learned otherwise in my session. I come in today and the session starts with me feeling some pain in my tight, beat up muscles and fascia adhesions. This session was more powerful than any other talk therapy session I've had in a long time. A lot of "junk" was released together with my muscles aches and pains. Amazing! I went in with my shoulders about 2 inches higher from stress and lower back locked tight from my herniated discs. He's funny and very intune with the body. I laughed. I cried.
