Will try to be as balanced as possible in this review: Pro: was able to get in with only a few hours notice Pro:.appears to be clean Pro: the young inexperienced masseuse I had, has some basic training but clearly only in relaxation massages and not sports or deep tissue like I requested. He was pleasant and we had good conversation (I don't go for relaxation or silence so usually enjoy some conversation) Con: exterior: when given the address, I asked if it was a professional office and sent the attached picture - it's an apartment unit with no signage - I whatapp'd the manager who came down to let me in - I should have left right then but was in pain so proceeded Con: interior: when you get inside, it's three tables side by side (the picture makes it look like a couples room) - no privacy, no place to disrobe and get re dressed - I stood behind a curtain covering part of the kitchen eating area and disrobed and walked to the table in a towel. When we were done, my massage therapist waited in the bathroom while I got dressed Con: interior: thankfully I was the only customer so I was alone - what would have happened if someone else was there and on another table???? I shudder to think about this - I'm not a shy person but I do not want to share my massage experience and their conversation with a stranger Con: bathroom - no toilet paper (and um - there is a cvs across the street) - just some wipes left on the counter. It's clean and smelled nice but clearly is being used by someone living in the apartment when it's not being used for massage given all the non massage related toiletry products Con: price - I paid $140 for a 75 min massage, plus I left a tip of $20 for my masseuse (he was pleasant and none of this was his fault). My top notch regular spa has professionals, in a really nice, professional location with trained therapists, and they charge $150 for 75 mins. I feel like this was amateur hour and did not get what I requested at all. This was a huge waste of my time and money and would not recommend more than $50 or even just getting a chair massage at your local nail salon for the extra $20 add on they charge you Con: quality - the masseuse is young and clearly doesn't have any formal training - I'm sure the manager has given him some basic training and he wasn't horrible but NOT skilled. I asked, in advance, for a male and a deep tissue massage (I find they are usually better with deep tissue), I said I was in for an extremely bad/painful lower back and to focus there - he spent almost less time on my lower back than anywhere else and the few times he used pressure with his elbow, it was almost on my spine and was painful not in the right way So - summary - I would NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you are super desperate for a massage and you only want a relaxation massage, requiring less Massage knowledge and skill. Bring a friend so you don't feel so odd in this private apartment (and maybe some toilet paper in case you need to pee before or after the massage). And try to negotiate a rate more commensurate with a non-professional working out of their home.

I booked a 90 minute couple's massage for me and my partner for Valentine's Day. My partner and I had gone back and forth on ordering it because it was so expensive (and we're used to New York prices), but we decided to splurge because of the holiday. Worst decision. Read on: We're in our hotel room waiting for our masseuses to arrive. We hear a knock on the door, open it expecting to see two massage therapists, but there's only one. His name is Enrique and he has frenetic energy, seems in a big hurry, and tells us that he only has one hour (even though we had ordered 90 minute massages.) Enrique starts a timer on his phone before he even begins setting up the massage table, I'm not making this up. We decide I'll get a massage with Enrique so my partner can at least get the 90 minute massage, since it's her present after all. So I get started on my 60 minute session while my partner waits around for the second masseuse to show up. What transpires is the worst and strangest massage I've ever had. Enrique puts on pulsing club music and pokes and prods at my body - mostly my calves - for the duration of what turns out to be a 42 minute massage. Before rushing out the door, Enrique tells me to pay him via venmo, which surprises me because the person I booked with said I would be paying via credit card. He says it's $190 and he switches his venmo from business to personal when I pay. I add a tip despite my bad experience, ultimately paying $220 for this terrible massage. All of this is happening in a flurry since Enrique is in such a rush. As soon as he leaves, I go to the King David Massage website to double check the price for a 60 minute massage (since I'd only been quoted a 90 minute massage, since that's what I ordered.) On their website it says the massage is $155! I'm furious. Meanwhile, my partner is getting massaged by her therapist, who had arrived about 30 minutes into my 42 minute massage (some couple massage...). The only good thing I can say about this whole experience is her massage therapist, Michael, was very attentive, talented, understanding and also flabbergasted by Enrique. In fact, Michael stayed extra long because at one point he had to run down to his car to get his lotion (which he had forgotten.) Michael was transparent about pricing and gracious about the 20+% tip we gave him. The next day, I get in touch with King David Massage to complain about my experiences and request a refund for my massage with Enrique. After going back and forth with the massage dispatcher, I finally get connected to the owner. After I threatened to go to the Better Business Bureau, I receive a partial refund ($96, for the tip and the 15 minutes off massage that I paid for and didn't receive.) TLDR: you might consider taking your business elsewhere.
