I visited this place a few weeks back and loved the vibe and location. They have several rooms throughout the space, a massage chair and a cold plunge. They are located on the first floor, white building on Jefferson and 6th street. I loved the messages posted outside and the relaxing music playing you can hear even before getting in. I tried the massage chair for about 15-20 mins and was able to choose the intensity and focus areas. I also had a massage by Shane and Alejandra who worked really well together. Shane was great at guiding me through the process and reminding me to breathe to help me relax. Some movements were a little uncomfortable but both Shane and Alejandra were constantly communicating with me to ensure I was doing OK. The massage was about 20-30 mins. and I felt great afterwards. You can tell they both know what they are doing and were open to answer all my questions. I would love to go back and try another massage or other services. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I cried leaving. The standard of massage here is sub-par is not non-existent. Starting with the basics... I asked for a trigger point/ deep tissue massage. What I got was an hour of poking, squeezing, shaking, rapid movement, being stood on and light rubbing that left me bruised (see photo) and agitated to tears. The therapist also sat on the table which is unprofessional and incredible uncomfortable and iMessage. The table was wobbly like a cheap restaurant. His cell phone kept loudly going off. I said my upper back needed to be the focus of the massage and he proceeded to spend 45 minutes on my arms and the other 15 on my calves with light rubbing and head shaking sprinkled in. It would have been a great comedy skit if I was watching it on tv honestly. But. It's not funny. Because after the massage, not only did my boyfriend's massage therapist add an additional $100 to the base price because of a cbd supplement and a seemingly mandatory 20% tip, but obviously thought that phones going off and bottles being dropped throughout the entire massage was a service worth an excellent tip. Then to add insult to injury... the OWNER tried to guilt trip me into giving my therapist a 20% tip!!!!!!!! We were offered a partial refund that we never received and I feel we were scammed out of $370 for 2, 60 minute torture sessions. Buyer BEWARE. This was a nightmare and honestly, traumatizing. I felt so violated and agitated that I cried all the way back to our hotel. I still haven't heard from the owner and have not been offered any type of recompense. read more

No other customers, no other staff 4. He didn't ask me to take off jewelery or anything Over all I felt it was extremely shady I left after 15 mins. Just ok we booked couples massage but the other masseuse had an emergency and couldn't Make it so just had one masseuse she was nice and pretty good with her hands. They need something for the shower floor cus the floor got all wet they also need shampoo and or body wash. It was cool for an a few hour short notice. Nice before the airport. My friend and I were dying for a massage so we thought this place was a good look according to their misleading photos on here. (Don't expect that clean looking place when you arrive) As soon as I saw the entrance, I felt this place was shady. We go into this small dirty room and they're talking like they knew what they were doing. So we took a shot. I laid on the bed and immediately felt the filth on the sheets. they don't even have any paper towels to cover the headrests to put my face on. The massage was bizarre and simply, not good. The customer service was awful. We were priced $90 with a $25 deposit to secure the booking. When I got in the room the massage therapist not only rushed me to strip down but gave me the price of $145 which was far from $90 (she lied and said $145 in case we wouldn't tip). Once we questioned it, the massage therapist walked out and the owner came at us very disrespectful cursing at us. The owners wife was sweet and the other massage therapist was sweet too. I treated my husband to a couples massage during our long weekend in Miami, and had a wonderful experience! Suzy and Allegra did a great job! I like a lot of pressure in my massages and Allegra did a great job meeting my preferences and working out some really tough knots. Suzy found muscles in my husband's back that he didn't even realize were tight. He prefers a lighter massage and doesn't relax very easily, and Suzy listened and really helped him feel at ease. We both felt much more relaxed afterwards. And Allegra even recommended some local restaurants for us to try while we're here! We'll definitely come back next time we're in town. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Miami Massage Therapy. I got the Royal Treatment massage which is a combination of different massage styles and includes hot stones and aroma therapy as well as scalp massage. Johanna, my massage therapist, had a warm and calming presence and was super strong. I left floating on air and have caught myself smiling more than usual over the next few days. She was attentive and attuned to my body and it felt like she had a sixth sense to push the stretches and pressure on the muscles just to the maximum point where it doesn't hurt but is really doing something. I'm obsessed with this place! I've been numerous times- if I am in Miami I try to get 2 massages in. I always ask for Issac- he is unbelievable. This is full on bodywork- I personally find it relaxing but same may not. This is not a spa- it's outfitted to work on your body. I'm from NYC, so the reviews about this place being sketchy makes me laugh- I've been to a whole lot worse. The place is clean and yes it's dark- but I'd never go anywhere else. Issac is extremely knowledgeable; he mixes Thai massage with deep tissue and some stretching- he also is very knowledgeable about the spin. I've sent 4 people here when they are on vacation, and every person loved it. I can't write enough amazing things about my experience here. My hubby also gets massages here- he always works with Nadir, but has had other therapists as well- again- we've never been disappointed. If you are looking for a spa like atmosphere, this is not it. It was a very long work week and Friday came . I got off of 95 from all the bumper to bumper more traffic to search for a massage nearby. A few place could not take me and then I called and got Shane. He was very personal on phone and made you feel like family or a friend more so when I arrived. DO NOT GO HERE. This was the creepiest most uncomfortable experience. My best friend and I went for a evening couples massage, there was hardly a front door, we had to call some number, where they then gave us a buzzer number to get into an apartment building.. the place was dark and dingy, there was no reception or front desk... both massage therapist were terrible, and had no idea what they were doing. They were the worst massages we had ever experienced, the woman who was massaging me was texting most of the time, which made my gf and I wonder what was going on.. I had to ask to have them stop because I felt so u comfortable and anxious.. she continued a bit longer.. when she finally stopped, both women went into the single stall washroom together.. my girlfriend had the same unsettled feeling as me and we just wanted to get out as quick as possible. While they were still in the washroom, we reluctantly left money on the counter and left as they were coming out. We quickly walked to the Walgreens down the street and called an Uber to there because we didn't even want to be near the sketchy apartment building. .. we choose this spot because it had high reviews, we are still in shock about how far our experience was from the reviews. If I could give it negative stars I would. This all being said, I have travelled all over Asia, the states, South America, Mexico and I have lived in India.. this was by far the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in a situation. read more

I had occasion to need Alejandra & Shane's services while visiting Miami Beach. I managed to injure my lower back playing basketball. I have recurring back problems and unfortunately my back tightened up on me while playing. It did so to the degree of me being rendered nearly immobile. We looked on Yelp and found Divine Massage Therapy and were able to get an appointment for later the same day. Upon entering I was surprised to see that it was a yogi-type atmosphere. As I didn't make the appointment for myself I wasn't sure what to expect and my primary concern was the elimination of my pain. Alejandra greeted me with a glass of lemon water and I prepared for my massage. Shane came into the room and the two of them did bodywork on me and an hour later I felt much better. The range of motion that I had lost was back. And that impressed me quite a bit. Alejandra & Shane also worked with me on breathing as well as some stretching to help me reduce pain and eliminate some of the tensions that had caused my back problem to begin with. Since I'm traveling this is particularly good information for me, as I'm not certain I'll always be able to find therapy to better my back. There's not much else to write, as it's the next day and I'm feeling better. That's my main concern. They were very pleasant people and it was a pleasure meeting them. I'm not much into yoga and things of that nature, but much of what they taught me as well as the bodywork they did on me helped to improve my condition so there must be something to it. Thanks a bunch guys. I am leaving for the Caribbean and was bummed to think that I would be in traction for the rest of my vacation. Today I had my first session with Shane: it was wonderful! I am not new to massage and I had a lot of deep tissue work on my neck and shoulders, but Shane is a class of his own. His massage is very eclectic and starts with breathing exercises and ends with stretches. It combines different massage techniques, yoga and chi-gong. It's like nothing I experienced before and I can't wait to get another one. Alessandra or Alejandra (sorry I forget) was awesome! My neck was hurting so bad, I woke up and felt like my nerves were pinched. She started at my hips to get the alignment right and I can say that later that day my neck was back to 100! I really appreciate her healing hands. However, the place was not very great there is not the most privacy and to be honest it is overpriced for what it is. It is true, the place is dark/dingy and no real receptionist, everyone gets a massage in a big room with curtains separating each massage area. If you go, definitely ask for Alessandra. The actual massage was great, but it should have been better for the price I paid. I was told that my overall fee with champagne, massages and chocolates would be $270. The therapists tried to upcharge me another $60. The massage was done on the beach but on bedding sheets in the sand instead of massage tables. Its was disorganized and a clear disconnect between the company and the therapist. This was for my anniversary and I wanted it to be romantic and special but the execution was cheap, and unorganized.
