Olga was a dream photographer in every way, and we couldn't possibly recommend Olga more for anyone's special day. She was exceptional in all aspects of capturing those sweet, intimate, heart-bursting moments for our engagement photos. Olga is extremely professional, responsive, passionate, talented, energetic, warm, kind, and flexible. She was so great about squeezing us into her busy schedule on short notice and suggesting the best location and time shoot during that coveted golden hour! It's hard to believe but it's coming up on 3 years since our wedding! I will FOREVER be grateful that we found Olga. It was like having 3 photographers in one peaceful, sweet, and skilled person. Olga deserves 10 stars. We are SO glad we chose her as our engagement and wedding photographer! Here's why: First, pricing. Olga is hands down the most reasonably priced photographer in Seattle for her quality of work (which is incredible). Based on my research, her pricing is at least half the cost of other photographers in the area, and in some cases more than half. I am what you might call an obsessively thorough bride. I researched 60+ photographers in the Seattle area via Yelp and their business websites, and then narrowed it down to about 20 photographers that I liked. I obtained pricing and availability on all 20. About half of those were already booked on our date (10 months out). Another 7 were too expensive. We planned to meet with 3 photographers in person. The first was actually a lot more expensive than we thought - TAKING the photos was in our price range, but then if we wanted digital copies, that was another $2K+. Oh, and we also had to purchase a $1K+ photo album. The we met Olga, and told her right then and there we'd be hiring her for our engagement and wedding photos. We paid $2,600 total, including a 1 hour photo shoot and 10 hour wedding shoot. We were told we could expect about 100 digital images for each hour of shooting. We chose to have our engagement shoot about two months ago in two locations: Ballard Ave and Discovery Park. It was sunny, but COLD outside. After a relatively easy shoot in Ballard, the three of us trekked over to to DP. Olga packed up all her photography gear and hiked down to the beach by the light tower, stopping in pretty places to take photos along the way. Olga was fun to work with- we chatted and laughed the whole time, and she gave us minor instructions to get the best photos possible. It was windy, cold, and Olga's hands MUST have been freezing without gloves and holding her camera constantly, but she didn't show any discomfort and was enthusiastic the entire time - she clearly enjoys her craft! We spent nearly 2 hours hiking and stopping to take photos, and by the time we got back to our cars, it was quite dark. As we departed, Olga told us we could expect our digital library in about one week. I was shocked to hear that we'd get them so soon, and secretly wondered how it would be possible to edit and color correct 100 photos in such a short timeframe (we went WAY over our planned 1 hour shoot, but I expected only 100 photos because that's what we paid for.) The very next day, Olga texted me 4-5 completed images as a "sneak peek". I think I actually started crying when I saw them - they were that beautiful. My excitement instantly grew tenfold. About a week after that, our digital gallery was complete, and included about 350 photos. I was blown away. We received so many stunning images that I can't even narrow it down to my top 100 favorites. I've included a few of them so you can see for yourself. Our wedding is still a few months away, but all of you Yelpers deserve to know about Olga now because I can't imagine her pricing will remain so reasonable for long. She's originally from Belarus, and came here with her young daughter about 5 years ago. She won a visa lottery and didn't speak a word of English when she arrived. She already had an established photography business in Belarus, but she had to completely start over once in the U.S, and she exclusively worked with Russian speaking clients for the first few years while she learned English. Today, her English is impeccable, and with her immense talent behind the lens, her pricing absolutely SHOULD be higher. She's that good. She was super easy to communicate with, punctual, sweet, and has a great eye for details.
