Wow! This place has some cool stuff. I will be back for more. They had some things I've never…read moreseen before. Things I may not need, but definitely want. They also have lots of things I really do need. I took lots of photos so that I can think about some of the things that caught my eye. Also, the service there was first rate. I was very pleased and glad that I found the perfect desk chair before someone else bought it.

I also bought two vintages designer lights and a couple pieces of glass labware to put cocktails in and put on the rolling cart to roll around the house (see above). I also bought a very cool looking gumball machine where you push down a little lever and a gumball comes out.** **I have put real gumballs and M&M peanuts in this thing and it has yet to spit out a gumball. It's pretty cool, though. OK, these guys have vintage cocktail glasses and shakers (do you see a problem here?) and more labware that I might buy. And a couple great vintage stands from a chemistry lab that has lots of clamps for test tubes. I'm trying to justify this one. My god!! They have two gigantic overhead light fixtures on rolling frames. If you live in one of those hoity-toity warehouses there is no excuse not to buy these. O, VINYL RECORDS YOU PEOPLE. SOUNDTRACK ALERT!! Endless Boogie was playing on their sound system. New favorite band. Ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump (Jaws) they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from about noon on.

It is such a wonderful place to buy unique gifts and feel like you're putting your money to good use. They also have an online website and offer gift cards as well! They have a ton of fun knick-knacks, play good music, and I for one appreciate that they're open about where they stand so I feel good supporting them :) Even so, it really isn't their "entire identity" like SOME people say because I actually looked around for more than 10 seconds at their wide variety of items instead of hyper fixating on the things that could maybe make me have a temper tantrum. Even if I felt like something was being "shoved down my throat" which I really haven't yet because I'm not a baby, the door is actually really easy to find so I could simply leave if needed! So easy!! Just my opinion. Xo (In all seriousness, this place is genuinely my go-to for all gift shopping and they're always so nice, couldn't recommend a place more! Photo of highlights from one of my visits to show that they have gotten and will continue to receive my business)

However, shoving political messages in someone's face when they simply want to shop for little knick-knacks is really off-putting and, honestly, disgusting. And making jokes about churches while simultaneously playing rap music with the N-word in it? It feels so contradictory and unnecessary. You can absolutely be open about where you stand politically without making it the entire identity of your company or shoving it down your customers' throats. Just my opinion. Xo
