I'm somewhat new to the area and have discovered this excellent restaurant. The Mediterranean/Greek fare is always on point. Chris and Amanda do such a great job and treat their guests like family. The restaurant is small and intimate, just perfect for a pleasant dinner. I always look forward to my visits there. Be sure to get a reservation, they're always busy, which says something.

Mediterranean pasta was pretty good. Chicken was slightly overdone, but that's typical for restaurants to do. They were unfortunately out of the blueberry cobbler, which my mom really wanted. Servers were very nice.

Overall, the experience was nice! The food was phenomenal and service was very attentive. It's a little confusing as the outside of the building and when you first walk in represent a casual dining experience, but then the white clothed tables give it a higher scale setting (which we were not prepared for). We came for the casual with our two young kids. They had a nice kids menu, but note I'd say business casual attire is preferred. We will return, but probably just for a date night.

The service is amazing. The hostess was so pleasant and friendly. Her recommendations were A+! Let's talk about the food. EVERYTHING IS SO DAMN GOOD! The appetizers - The Gyro- The Lamb Chop - The Saffron Rice- The Paella- The music is nice and at a decent level where you can enjoy the atmosphere which is peaceful. I will be back to try the Sea bass.

My favorite was the spicy chicken with saffron rice. The rice was so flavorful. The samosa and falafel appetizer was really fresh and not oily at all which I appreciate. The dessert was Dubai chocolate with strawberries and I think they could do better - portion size was plenty. Ambiance is a very minimal and pleasant.

I placed an Uber Eats order, but within about two minutes I experienced a serious emergency and had no choice but to cancel it. I immediately called the restaurant and explained the situation, hoping they would show some understanding. Instead, I was met with zero compassion from the owner, Moe. The restaurant was also close to closing when I placed my order. There is simply no way an entire chicken meal was fully prepared within two minutes. Despite that, I was still charged $41. Since I had already paid for the order, I asked if I could at least pick up the food myself instead of letting it go to waste. The owner , Moe, refused. So not only did I lose my $41, but I also wasn't allowed to receive the food that I had already paid for. That is incredibly frustrating and unfair. I understand businesses have cancellation policies, but there should also be room for common sense and compassion. Emergencies happen, and I canceled almost immediately after placing the order. Instead of trying to help or work with me, I was treated like my situation didn't matter at all. This experience left me feeling completely dismissed and taken advantage of. Customer service is about treating people with respect, especially when unexpected situations arise. Unfortunately, I received none of that. I will never order from Sahara Restaurant again, and I cannot recommend a business that shows so little empathy for its customers. There are many restaurants that value their customers and would have tried to find a fair solution. Sadly, this was not one of them.

And I simply couldn't think of ordering anything else but delicious food from my favorite Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill to satisfy my Medi craving. At that moment, I listened to my inner voice. Today, what I got were: -Lentils Soup -Mixed Appetizers -Sambusa Potato Lentil Soup is very simple and yet it's got some character to it. Lightly seasoned, and I probably liked it very much because of that;. Without using a lot of salt it holds a good balance of flavors mostly from the main ingredient: lentils. I waited until it was lukewarm so I could "drink" out of the container. It had a hint of lemon taste which I noticed as I slowly chugged it (lol!!) Well-made soup indeed. Sambusa Potato was exactly what I had expected. Again, not salty at all but not bland either. Good portion size. This is one of the staple items off the menu which I always order. Mixed Appetizers were quite amazing and this is now my favorite dish. The restaurant was so generous. They put more than enough pita bread slices for it. They certainly don't know how to be stingy (lol!) This restaurant continues to perform well where they have never been bad or even mediocre.

We ordered a koobideh sandwich with fries, an Adana kebab plate with baba ghanoush, and a salad. My husband asked if we could have a traditional Turkish shepherd's (çoban) salad, but instead we received a few slices of tomato and cucumber served alongside a single skewer of beef. To make matters worse, the koobideh and Adana turned out to be the exact same kebab. When we asked, the server confirmed they were essentially the same item with different names. The baba ghanoush was served by itself with nothing to eat it with. When we requested bread, we were given a microwaved pita and charged an additional $3. Our total bill was $39, which might sound reasonable, but the value simply wasn't there. The server repeatedly mentioned how understaffed they were, there was no traditional Turkish salad on the menu, and dips were served without bread unless you paid extra. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations. There are much better places in Denver to spend your money.

As was the case for the other two locations, this location also provided the same level of food quality with exceptional service. I didn't eat lunch so I sure was hungry for something good. The time was a little past 4:30pm, one group of diners was wrapping up their meal. I hence was the only one except some occasional online order pickups that came in and went. The man upfront who had a face like the sun had the biggest smile I have ever seen (LOL!) He gave me water and menu promptly and left me to it for several minutes before he came back and took my order. When I go to Byblos, I almost always order either the Vegetarian or Vegan plate. I thought of doing ala cart to get me a few to several things but sometimes I don't know how to be outside of the box, I went with the Vegetarian plate. And this didn't disappoint at all. Firstly, the portion size for the dine in (for the Vegetarian plate; this might be true for other similar dishes) is quite larger than the take out size. On a big round plate, all sorts of things were nicely placed with a beautiful coordination. Some items were a bit over the plate which indicated that the serving portion was generous. Secondly, except the tomato slices that weren't super fresh, everything else was refreshingly crisp/raw/pure/unspoiled. The side pita bread that was served in a small basket was thick/soft. I couldn't finish everything despite my enormous appetite. I asked for a to-go box for the rest. As for the ambience at this location, it's simple and basic. This is not to say that it's boring however. And it's the smallest. If you want to experience a great atmosphere then the one on Corona St in Cherry Creek should be the one. The one in Greenwood Village on Yosemite is in the middle out of three for size and atmosphere. But one thing that is consistent between the three is the quality of food. All three locations serve the consistent taste. I have never been disappointed with any of them.

After I was done with my first one at a liquor store nearby, I chose this location of Garbanzo to get me a quick plate to eat before I headed my way to the next one. I had completely forgotten about this place until today as I saw it on the way to my first gig. At that point, I knew I would stop here to get me something later. In retrospect, I used to utilize Garbanzo quite often years back. I wonder why I stopped using them completely for a while. This location only has about 3 stars as of this writing in late March 2026. As I stepped inside, I realized that it was quite clean. One of the guys upfront greeted me as I approached the glass barrier where you see all the ingredients. They appeared fresh. I decided to do the build your own plate with gyro as the protein. The base price is/was only $12 with some change. That is not a bad price in this tough market/economy. With the yellow rice base, he placed several slices of gyro. He then asked me what I wanted for the rest of the space in the plate. I picked whatever I wanted as my heart desired; I sure was hungry. As we got to the register I thought he was going to charge me for something extra as I thought I got more than what was allowed. And yet, he only charged me for the base price. I was quite shocked with that. My plate looked quite big. By the way, he gave me a freshly baked pita bread; it came with the plate. I quickly paid and off went my way. Once I got my chance, I started devouring my food. It was surprisingly good with so much freshness. I surely didn't expect this kind of quality from it (not that I was looking down on them. LOL!!) Wow, I guess I need to utilize this restaurant more from now on especially mere $15 will buy a good portioned Mediterranean plate. I will think of them more often going forward especially when I am in a hurry. Quick go in, get food and leave type place is always appreciated when there is decent quality.
