Another GREAT meal at GeJo's. 2 orders of LASAGNA and 1 Chicken Parmigiana. Also, a glass of an Argentine Malbec which was really good. Elliot served us really well as we chatted away the early evening with our drinks. She was very patient with us. Dinner came and WOW. Both the lasagna and the parmigiana were huge and almost swimming in a rich red sauce. The lasagna was super-meaty and very nicely spiced. It was super tasty as well. Chicken Parmigiana was also amazing according to my wife. We polished the meal off with a single piece of carrot cake. It arrived quite warm (never had warm carrot cake before). It was really really good altho I probably prefer cake not warm. However, it was very very good. Pegged the calorie meter tonight but worth every calorie!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You don't go to GeJo's for the ambience but for the great food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Brian and I had not been here since 1998. We had forgotten what a great spot this is for delicious Italian food. We had a party of six. Thankfully, they take reservations. Food was delicious. I had spicy spaghetti. Brian had lasagna. The table was full of garlic bread, salad, and wine. What else could one ask for? Limoncello shots !!!! The flavors are orange, lemon, and lime. They are to die for! This was an anniversary so there was an abundance of carrot cake for us all to enjoy. We had a great time. They have a full bar and they do a deep pour on the wine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is in a lot. We will be back much sooner this time!!

GeJo's Italian is a hidden gem that serves great Italian food with friendly service. We happened upon GeJo's while driving down the street and decided to give it a try. We tried the homemade egg noodles with meatballs and I was super excited to find a restaurant serving up these homemade noodles. The homemade noodles have a heartier texture to them and are thicker than traditional spaghetti. The meatball was excellent with a great texture, flavor, and size. With our pasta, we also got two side salads and it made a perfect meal. The side salads were done right with a nice combination of vegetables and the dressing was served on the side. We also do not want to forget giving a shout out to the garlic knots which were soft and covered with a generous portion of garlic butter. Some of the best garlic knots I have had in Denver. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We learned about the history of GeJo's, which is a great history. They were also attentive to the weather as we were sitting outside. A storm started to blow in so they shut down the sides of the outdoor eating section. In Colorado fashion, the storm moved through quickly and they reopened the sides as soon as the wind had passed.

This was a regular for us when we lived in the area and is a perfect spot to grab dinner and/or a drink. They've got a pretty simple element but everything is great on it. Definitely get the carrot cake, if there is any. They run out. You can also get anchovies on your caesar salad if you ask. Lasagna and Geno's spaghetti special are 10/10

The family-owned business serves the best Italian food in town. The portions are perfect and so it the price. I love this place!

Isaiah 100% got you the fifth star. Thank you for making our dinner better, Isaiah!…read more Noise Level: When we arrived, we couldn't hear each other from opposite sides of our square 4-top table. Woah. Crowded: With folks at both tables, there really wasn't a walkway for folks to get past, lots of chair bumping and scooting, so I moved, thus clearing the walkway and we could hear each other better. Food: I remember really loving Maggiano's, but perhaps something changed in the recipe for your alfredo, because it seemed thin and runny. It ran right off the noodles, but as it got colder, it started sticking to the noodles more. It was good, but not wonderful. Service: Isaiah was amazing and totally made our night! Thank you!

It is my go-to order at any Maggiano's I visit. My friend ordered the Branzino Crab Imperial. I noticed that the bread was a little different than other Maggiano's restaurants I've been to. Normally, I'm served a generous portion of Italian bread before the meal. However, here they serve some sort of buttered rolls with pinch of flaky salt on top. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, as the bread was delicious. It's just a little different than what I've encountered at other Maggiano's restaurants. This dinner might have been the only time the two of us were quiet during my entire trip to Colorado because the food was really good! My only complaint is that my dish was a little bit bland. It's always been seasoned a bit better at other Maggiano's locations that I've visited... But it wasn't enough to keep me from ever ordering it again. Our server was very good and really attentive to our needs. I also appreciate how sturdy the to-go box was because decided to take my leftovers with me to the airport. The bag and container got a little beat up during the security screening but because they container was so sturdy, there was minimal spillage.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.
