Lowest I can give is 1 star but -1 it should be. Only thing cherry there was a pie eating contest. The photos they use were not there. It was all dirt first of all. Dust everywhere. No cherries or foods with cherries anywhere. The rides shown were not there either. It's a complete bait and switch. Tickets cost 10.00 for 10 tickets and every game you wish to play was 10 tickets. Music was only thing that was advertised correctly. Tons of vendors selling stuff and that was probably the most interesting thing. But all was very expensive. It was like the hillbilly experience with Beverly Hills pricing. Complete waste of money and time. It was more of a traveling flea circus. Very disappointed. Absolutely false advertisement overpriced rides and food even though the food was good but $48 for 3 items is crazy and $20 funnle cake. We got the wrist bands for children as advertised. Played 1 game and didn't get to ride a a ride because we had pay more money for them to ride 2 rides which was another $48 crazy work all over $300 insane! SMH read more

I've been going here for the last 15 years. It has been my favorite spot. Every year I bring people that have never been. I tell everyone about the cherry festival and how amazing it is, so I hate to even give it two stars. Last year sadly was not an amazing time they were missing so many of the rides. It was a lot smaller with very confusing parking. There was no Ferris wheel and my favorite ride, the zipper was gone, which have all been there at least the last 10 years. It was really upsetting bringing new people and having to explain that this is not how it normally is. I hope it goes back to the way it was and its old location! read more

It feels like a movie set. Don't expect cherries since the name comes from the area it's in. It's very expensive, so either eat before or expect to spend money since it's fair food. It's very expensive for the rides but the tallest one is worth it! read more

I came mostly to see Jodee Messina perform this evening. The show was great! Now for the festival itself, parking was a hot mess but I managed to get a spot on the large grassy area now deemed a parking lot. The food - mostly fast food concessions with the funnel cake stand being the most popular and longest line. I ordered some tater tots and beef chili from a not so busy vendor. It was pretty tasty - crunchy tots and flavorful chili. Despite being called the Cherry Festival, I didn't see much cherry wares - some pre-made slices of pie - but no punnets of fresh cherries etc. This festival looked more like a mini-local fair, which is great for groups and large families wanting to go out and have some family fun. Plenty of covered seating under the big tents. One child got separated from their parent and the event team were working overtime to get them to their parent. Overall, it was an underwhelming festival with the lack of cherry goods. Only great part was the show towards the end of the night. read more

They need to rename this fair for what it is--a local city fair. We spoke with the only booth that had cherries and he stated that all of the cherry groves have been cut out and removed of Beaumont, so there aren't any growers to bring cherries in. He brings from his own personal three acre property, and was a very nice gentleman, but said he won't be doing it much longer. Once he's gone, it doesn't seem that there will be any local cherries available at this "Cherry Festival". read more

This was the year of the 100th cherry Festival. I figured I had to go seeing as I graduated high school on the occurrence of the 50th cherry Festival. The Cherry Festival was a little Small Town Event. All the usual sell this and that Barker's that we're pushing their products all religions or events leading to the Midway with a nice collection of rides that kept all the people screaming for more as they purchase their tickets and got thrown around in these rides. Great fun for that age group. Additionally all the balloon popping sharpshooting and other games of skill and luck we're spread around the Midway so that you could win that big fluffy teddy bear. All in all a nice little small town event. I liked the Historical Society and their pictures of a Time long gone by. It was a fun weekend. Thank you Cherry Festival read more

I'm very sad to report that the Beaumont Cherry Festival fails. I anticipated picking ripe cherries in an orchard. I looked forward to a slice of cherries jubilee, which Escoffier invented for Queen Victoria. I skipped breakfast so that I'd have room for pancakes, muffins, cobblers, pies and Julia Child's Cherry Clafouti made with freshly picked, locally farmed cherries. I excepted to taste cherry varieties beyond the common Bing like the Balaton, Lambert, Morello, Rainier, Royal Ann and Montmorency. Farmers around Beaumont grow cherries, but I learned that the recent drought devastated local production. Nevertheless, I was disappointed that not a single local farmer (or for that matter _any_ cherry farmer) came to explain cherry production, varieties or recipes. The sole cherry booth sold only Bing and Rainier cherries grown hundreds of miles to the north. The hometown festival even charged an entrance fee of $7.00! In fact, high prices for everything ruled. A single licorice rope cost $5.00. The plus side included entertainment and rides. Tribute bands played Neil Diamond, Kiss, Jefferson Airplane and others, with covered seating out of the hot sun. Rides and games for kids occupied a large portion of the grounds. But this was advertised as cherry festival, not a tribute carnival. As others noted, this event seemed more a carnival than a hometown festival. Even the parade disappointed. Yes, it featured many beautiful horses, as well as the expected abundance of local politicians and church groups. Although drum and dance groups marched and performed, the parade included not a single marching band! I wonder if vacation started for the local high schools. So I'm sad, surprised and disappointed that the Beaumont Cherry Festival rates only one star. read more

This is the 96th year of the Cherry Fest. The park has had a lot of improvements done to it over the past few years. It's a good place to take the kids that's not totally expensive...if they don't go on the rides. If you park at Wal Mart on the south side of the 10, and take the shuttle in, you get your entry ticket less $1.00 LOTS of fair grub. Topical prices. read more

We drove over an hour to go there following the website address no signs out to direct you. Drove around for half hour and left. They need to advertise better and provide address of event rather than their office. We found one sign pointing nowhere. Poor organizational skills. read more

I was happy to hear that parking was free, however, it was literally on the grass/dirt of the park. When I came back for my car, it was covered in dirt and dust--totally annoying. The admission booth only accepted cash, which was a little cumbersome, but the cost to get in was low, so we were ok. We went in around 115, the festival opened at 12pm, unfortunately the ATM was out of cash. Turns it we really didn't need it because all the both in the festival accept debit/atm cards--go figure. Glad we were able to avoid the $4 ATM fees. we went into the festival excited to buy cherries, cherry pie, chocolate covered cherries, deep fried cherries--there was none to be had. There was one other table selling cherries in small baskets for $5. it was truly disappointing. I did find one other booth selling cherry pies, however it was store bought. I had several children with me, so we went over to the ride area; the kids under 6 had a great time, everyone else was quickly bored. The midway games were cash only, and the prizes were nothing to write home about. All in all I would say skip it unless you live in the area and feel like going to a close to "cherry free" cherry festival. read more

Not very big, the parking was kind of crazy, there was no organization, just park anywhere. Carnival rides looked fun, but not for me. My favorite part was the food, funnel cake tasted weird, eggrolls from the Chinese food vendor was the bomb! For a cherry festival, there wasn't a lot of cherries, it was kind of whack. The area was to small to accommodate so many young and rude people. And they had maybe 2 booths that sold cherries which were very expensive. The cherry festival in 2017 was a waste of time and money for the $7 entrance fee per person. I and a friend were in and out of there within 15 minutes max. There were very few booths and only one booth contained cherry products to purchase which consisted of pies or a drink only. There was very little to see or purchase.
